Saki sighed and took a deep breath. "Nothing is ever what it seems," she said, putting her hand to her forehead. "My grandpa was always saying that..." She shook her head. "No. I wont let this fact pain me. What I am does not change who i am." she took a deep breath. "Besides," she added. "If i am what you say than I have the potential to grow stronger than I thought," she paused and looked around, her eyes wandering before landing on a statue. She paused for a moment, looking at the statue inquisitively. "Are those your parents?" she asked, pointing to the statue of a busty woman holding a small boy that looked remarkably like Cole, and a huge bulking man standing by them. Saki noticed that the boy, who she assumed was Cole in his younger years, looked very happy.

Once again, a smile came to Cole's lips as he looked over to the statue of him and his two elder siblings before he looked back At Saki.
"Actually Saki, That is my elder sister and brother in that statue. They looked out for me alot when I was young. This statue behind us is the one of my mother."
As he gazed at his mother's statue, a Cole's smile became a pained one as a single tear rolled down his cheek.

"Are you crying?" saki asked incredulously. "I...I'm sorry, i didn't mean to pry..." Saki hugged Cole. "I lost my mother too," she said, her eyes filled with an unusual seriousness.

Cole looked at Saki for a moment then placed his hand upon his cheek and looked at it. It seemed Cole was a bit surprised to find a tear on his face.
"There's no need to apologize Saki. You're not prying. It's been so long since I last spoke of my mother. And you too know the pain of losing a parent..."
Cole hugged Saki back. It had been a while since Cole held someone in his arms. It felt nice to once more to be holding someone...

Saki snuggled against Cole's warm and exceptionally warm body. " I didn't think demons could cry," she said. She looked up at him apologetically. "Would you think me biased if I said i thought demons were supposed to be apathetic?"

"Not at all. Actually, you're not that far off. Most demons are apathetic, if not just plain evil. I'm actually a freak to my own kind, so are my elder siblings..."
His eyes shifted towards the statue of himself and his siblings then back to Saki's emerald eyes. For a moment, Cole became lost in her eyes. It's hard to believe an angel such as her is in fact a demon just as I am... Cole thought to himself as he held onto to Saki...

*Jewel walked out into the garden wandering aimless as she looked over the flowers all around. As she came to the stadues she stopped and looked at them one after another. After a moment she continued on looking around amazed at the garden taking in a breath of the fresh scent that filled the air as she contued wandering aimlessly*

Saki's question caught Cole off guard slightly. Letting going of Saki for a moment, Cole turned toward the statue of his mother and gazed up at it.
"I was very close to my mother, she was the only family I knew for the earliest days of my life. And yes, for most of my exsistence, I have been alone. Even when I was within a group of travelers, I was alone... not many people are willing to travel with someone when they know the are a demon."

Dyanel appeared in the garden near Cole and Saki. She was standing on her feet this time, her arms across her chest. Her emotions seemed completely different than they were moments before at the pagoda gate. She had heard what Ethren stated about welcoming demons and her mentality was agreeing with him. She waited patiently as Saki and Cole spoe with one another. Dyanel taking a seat at the edge of the grass between the roses and statue. She knew Cole saw and sensed her, but she didn't want to do anything to interrupt the two.

You wanted to speak to me?"

*After wandering aimless not really finding anyone she found a comfy spot and layed down looking up at the endless sky as the gentle breeze blew across her skin her tail curled loosely around her waist as she sighs relaxing feeling the warmth of the sun blanketing her gently. The soft grass all around her holding her as it gently brushed across her skin following the blow of the breeze. The breeze causes strands of her short soft purple hair to brush lightly across her forehead and cheek. Her deep gold eyes stared aimless into the sky watching the cloud pass by as time seemed to stand still. A warm smile across her soft lips as she started to find images in the clouds almost as if the sky was creating a story*

Saki struggled to find words. "I...er... she loved you, I'm sure, with all her heart." She smiled. "And besides, not all demons are bad, especially not if my uncle was one. My uncle is the kindest man i know." She took a deep breath through her nose, smiling at the aromatic scent of the flowers. "A place to call home... a place of peace," she said. She inclined her head at him and smiled a simple smile. Then she scrunched up her face. "Oh tush tush on those people," she scolded, flapping her hand to illustrate the point. "If people judge you only off of what they think they know about your kind, they arent worth half the trouble of their company." She looked at him again, and laughed, then sighed, scratching the back of her head as she smiled sheepishly. "I tend to ramble,"

Cole smiled softly at Saki and her attempt to concole him. He removed his shades and looked at her once more with his violet eyes...
"I thank you for your kindness Saki. And yes, I do know my mother cared and loved me deeply as any mother would. Through my years I've learned to ingore the prattlings of closed minded individuals. Luckily for all who reside within these walls, the pagoda will not allow thoughs with a closed mind and heart to enter... a truly sacred ground of peace..."
Shifting his eyes to the heavens, Cole continued to smile as a gentle breeze blew by, lifting some loose flower petals into the air and making them dance upon the wind...
