Roleplay at the HQ #7
=====
Mya watched Dante play happily with Tayten, the clownfish colored Griff, sat on one of the HQ's chairs. It was a good get away place this one indeed. Especially when the cause was related. Oh well...
Dante giggled as Tayten carefully tickled her with her furry tail, wriggling on the soft floor.
==
==
Pave carried Mos in on her back, Mary tailing behind and bleating. Mos was leading her with a little leather lead and giggling. Pave spotted Mya and smiled. "Hi Mya!" She waved.
Mos pulled his gaze from Mary and noticed a blue haired Dante in the HQ. He immediately narrowed his eyes and inspected her.
==
==
"Hiya Pave. How's stuff? That's Tayten, a really cheerful Griff." Mya smiled, pointing to the orange shape that kept tickling Dante oblivious to the rest.
Dante could sense Mos and something else around, maybe a pet of his. He was Storm's best friend from what she recalled. Not to be trusted, therefor. So, she ignored him, playing with Tayten like nothing else was there.
==
==
"Hey Tayten." Pave nodded in the Griff's direction. "This is Mary." She pulled on the lead and Mary walked forward, chewing on the carpet. "Mos's lamb."
Mos saw that Dante didn't register his arrival. He sighed in a relieved way. At least she wasn't going to start screaming again.
==
==
"Heylos, Pave. Nice to meet ya!" Tayten said one her slightly squawked voice, waving to the woman with one of her clawed paws. She eyed the lamb briefly, but looked down to Dante as she realized she was licking her beak. "Not food, not food..."
Dante tilted her head slightly, looking puzzled to Tayten. What wasn't food? Didn't matter anyway, she wasn't hungry... Instead, she wanted to play more with Tayten. She had not reason to speak with Mos, so she wouldn't. Even though the fact he had a lamb (that was a lamb?) interested her.
"Awww, it's so cute! It's Mos's?" Mya asked, grinning.
==
==
Pave nodded and smiled. "Mary is Mos's favorite lamb." She patted Mary on the head and set Mos down next to Dante. "I do hope they can get along today." Pave said.
Mos scooted away from Dante quickly. She didn't like Storm, she must be crazy.
==
==
"Doesn't look like it..." Mya moaned, annoyed.
"Hey, look at this kiddo! Mos, is it?" Tayten, much to Dante's dismay, had (finally) noticed the little boy. He could only be a friend! He looked so sweet, he even had that tasty, oops, sweet little lamb! Sometimes I so hate being mostly carnivore... she thought, holding up a smile to Mos.
Dante's smile couldn't be any yellower. Great. Just great. He'd probably want to burn her too...
==
==
Pave poked Mos hard in the back and he scooted forward again, more annoyed than Mya. "He's just being rude. Mos, play with Dante."
Mos looked up at Tayten and scowled. This...griff...was smiling at him. Tayten acted friendly, but Mos thought that the animal was probably just like Dante. Insane. Mos dropped his gaze and pulled Mary over to him. She was better to be around than Dante, in his opinion. At least she didn't scream.
==
==
"Don't speak too much, or you'll run out of air..." Tayten mused, giggling at her own pun. "Well, I was going to let you up my back and give you a free flying trip since you're a friend of the little devil here..."
Dante pulled Tayten's tail at this point. But the Griff didn't care.
"... But since you're taking care of that nice lamb, I'll just have to go stretch my wings alone..."
"Tricky Tayten..." Mya muttered, grinning.
==
==
Pave smiled at Tayten's joke. Mos was being antisocial today. She hoped this wouldn't happen, but of course, she could not prevent it.
Mos flicked his hand in Tayten's direction, signalling in a lazy way that he didn't care. Pave frowned at him, but he ignored her.
==
==
Dante climbed up Tayten's back instead of Mosrael, wanting to fly. If he didn't want, that didn't matter!
Tayten, however, didn't agree with that. "Now you think that you can dismiss me just like that? Well, no one turns down on Tayten, the Griff of happiness!"
"That's a new one..." Mya muttered, grinning.
"And, for that, you're coming either way. You'll like it, you'll see!" Tayten grabbed Mos with her paws and threw him over to her back, behind Dante. "Now hang tight both of you, we're going to have some fun!" Setting of into a run outside, they were all in the air with a beat of Tayten's wings, taking them over the roof tops of the city.
"Be careful!" Mya shouted, running after them to the entrance of the HQ with a smile.
"Yaaay!" Dante squealed, clinging to Tayten's neck. The air, the wind around her felt so nice...
==
==
Mos screamed. Pave jumped up and called after them, "Be careful now!" She settled back inside and sat. "I'm sorry Mos is being so disagreeable." She apologized.
Mos gripped tight to anything he could reach, pulling and screaming, flying through the air. This was certainly not his idea of fun!
==
==
More used to the wind, Dante managed to let her hands go of Tayten's neck. Mos was screaming her ears off! "Calm!" she said, setting both her hands on his shaky shoulders. Despite the bandage, care and time, her burnt hand still stung a little, but it didn't stop her. Bellow them, the city was past them and a lush green field stretched bellow, a lake not too far away.
"Don't be, I guess Dante's scream must have annoyed him lots... Especially since he's so close to Storm..." Mya said, seating again beside Pave.
==
==
Mos pulled his shoulders out of her reach and stopped screaming. She had touched him. She didn't scream, she just said "Calm." He didn't know why he didn't burn her, but he was glad that he didn't.
"I suppose," Pave replied. "He's just been funny lately. I think the nitemares are getting to him, poor boy. But it's better than being burned, I would guess."
==
==
"Nightmares? At least Dante's pain's physical... Do you know what he dreams about?" Mya asked, frowning.
Dante had just realized he hadn't burnt her. Mos didn't burn her. Only Storm had. So it wasn't his fault. "What see?" she asked. More than his unexpected company ticking her off slightly, what was bothering her the most was not being able to see what was around them. Or bellow, for that matter.
They were beginning to fly lower, lower, lower, only staying 5 feet above the ground. The lake was getting near too.
==
==
"No, not sure." Replied Pave. "He always wakes up screaming. Can't tell me about it yet, though."
Mos searched through his limited vocabulary and selected a word that he knew well. "Tofu!" He shouted.
==
==
Dante couldn't help but giggle. She had no idea what tofu was, but the word sure was funny!
Tayten, however, shook her head. "Not tofu, that piece of tasteless crap. This is a lake, with water." She stopped flapping her wings, now gliding, and dipped her paws and underside on the water, the ToRs feet also touching the water, up to their knees, before Tayten raised on the air again.
"Fun!" Yup, Dante sure was liking it, her little winglets flapping too with excitement.
"Sigh... I wonder what these kids will have to go through..." Mya said, shaking her head.
==
==
Mos giggled at the feel of the water. It was wet! He splashed a hand in it before Tayten moved upward.
Pave nodded.
==
==
The sound of their giggles was by far rewarding Tayten for her patience. "Okay kiddos, back on the floor or your mommies will be worried. Mya not too much, cause she already knows I'm insane. Just for fun though..." Not minding her dripping fur, she quickly turned back.
==
==
The door to the HQ was flung open, and in stepped a chipper, long haired boy.
"Hey, peeps." The half demon greeted Mya and Pave, glancing around the room for a breif moment, a silly grin on his face.
At his side was a pink haired boy, his fingers lazily gripping onto his father's loose, black pants. Storm was quiet as they entered, as he always was, and he searched the room as Gabo did, his pink orbs staring at seemingly nothing.
==
==
"Hi Gabo... Storm..." Mya felt like going all 'eek' and stuff. Not cause she didn't like the guys, nothing about that, but what of Dante when they arrived? "I foresee impending hell coming..." she muttered, sweat dropping.
"So, was it fun or not, Mos guy?" Tayten asked, winking to him.
Even the question wasn't for her, Dante nodded, happy. Nothing could spoil this... All pity her innocence...
==
==
Pave smiled and waved to Storm and Gabo. "Hey there."
Mos giggled and clapped. He made a strange noise in his throat like "Yee!" That was so much fun! Once he had gotten used to it, of course.
==
==
A faraway squawk made Mya inwardly panic. Still, with lots of years of hard way trainning, she had gulped it down and kept it well hidden and locked inside, still smilling.
"There it is! Time to land, so hang tight! I still have to get this part done right! Without crashing, I mean!" Tayten said, already seeing the HQ.
Dante didn't understand what she had said in the end, simply clinging to her neck again.
==
==
Mos screamed again and grasped Dante tight around the waist, nearly squeezing her breath out. He didn't like this new sensation...
Pave smiled too, wondering about the scream she had heard. Hopefully a scream of joy?
==
==
Gabo waved to the two girls once again as they greeted him, that grin
still in place. "Where did Dante and Mos run off to?" The half demon
questioned, placing Storm down in his usual area on the floor.
Gabo blinked rapidly as his sensitive ears rang as a result of the scream,
though he knew the others had heard it with no trouble as well.
"What the heck was that?" The boy asked, flicking silver locks off his shoulder.
Storm let his dad set him on the floor, his face dull, staring at nothing.
Where was Mos..?
The pink haired boy seemed oblivious to everything, even the shrill scream
from outside, lost in his own little world.
==
==
Pave looked up. "I don't know. It sounded...Mos-ish." She smiled nervously.
==
==
Gabo looked confused, and he blinked once more as he stared in Pave's direction.
"Why..is Mos screaming?" The half demon raided an eyebrow, but then shrugged it off. That Pave, she was a weird one.
Storm looked up at Pave as she spoke Mos' name, his head tilted to the side slightly.
==
==
"Why scream?" Dante asked Mos. Maybe it was because she couldn't see how far from the ground they were at, or a fast they were approaching the HQ. She just didn't figure it out.
"That would be Dante and Mos returning from a flying trip with my clownfish Griff, Tayten. Prepare for impending doom." Mya said, sighing. Walking outside, she watched them coming closer, closer, closer... "Careful with the claws!" That was the last thing heard from Mya before impact.
Bam!
A blue and orange mass speeded through the room before coming to a halt on the opposite wall's side. Mya was squished under the weight of Tayten and both ToRs, feeling like she had been overrun by a full speed airplane. Tayten was pretty shaken up but laughing madly, her left wing pending on an odd angle with a trail of feathers behind. As for the infants, they were both physically fine, ready for another crash.
"Weeeee!" Dante squealed, completely disorientated. Now she was truly blind, even her 'sensing' abbility heavily scrambled.
==
==
"He went on a ride with Dante, on the back of a Griff." Pave looked pityingly out the window. "He's never flown before. Oh damn, he's going to be scared up there." She looked down at Storm and smiled. "Hey there Storm. Mos will be right back."
==
==
Just as Pave said that, Gabo's face turned pale, he was speachless.
The half demon watched without words as Tayten made a crash landing into the HQ, laughing wildly. He never seen..such an odd creature before.
The silver haired boy raised his eyebrow once more, staring in disbeleif.
Storm didn't look up until the crash was seemingly over, having just then noticed the winged creatures arival. But..was that Mos' on it's back?
The pink haired boy was happy, but he didn't know what to do with this odd emotion.
Then he saw Dante, his head hanging slightly, eyes focused on the floor.
==
==
Mos hopped off, his eyes wide as quarters and his mouth hanging open. He jumped and laughed. "Yee!" He said. Then he spotted Storm. His face split into a grin and he ran forward. "Storm!" He called.
==
==
Dante rolled down Tayten's back, giggling wildly as she wriggled on the floor, liek someone was tickling her. It had just been too funny! It even blocked Mos's call for Storm for the moment, her little brain still blocked. She just had a blast!
Tayten, grinning, staggered her way near Pave, also giggling, even though she was starting to control herself. "See? They're back in one piece like I said!" she pointed out, her tail flicking from one side to another.
As for Mya... "Tayten, you're so dead..." she groaned, gasping for air while she crossed her arms, gripping on them. She was going to feel that in the morning... A silverish liquid slowly poured through her fingers, shinning under the daylight.
==
==
"Mya, you alright?" Pave looked worriedly at Mya and then stifled a giggle. It had been rather funny to see Tayten drop out of the sky and flatten Mya. And at least the children were alright.
==
==
There was a pain in Storm's chest suddenly, though he knew not why. Mos was here, that's what he had wanted, wasn't it? Then..why did he feel like this?
The pink haired boy didn't feel very happy, the sight of the his best friend's smile made his stomach hurt.
Mos had fun..without you..Mos had fun..with someone else. Mos had fun. With Dante These things repeated themselfs in his mind, but he tried to ignore them as he looked up at the black haired boy.
"Nice entrance." Gabo commented, talking to Tayten.
The half demon grined, a hint of laughter in his voice, his sharp teeth glinting.
"For an over grown chicken." The silver haired boy couldn't help but add, smirking slightly.
==
==
"Storm hug?" Asked Mos bouncily. He was very glad to see his best friend, and thought this merited an especially good hug.
Pave let out a giggle and covered her mouth, trying with all her might to remain mature. It wasn't working.
==
==
"Thank you!" Tayten first told Gabo, smilling, before hearing his last comment. "Oooh, you think you're so funny!" she squawked, half annoyed. Still, the moment just called for a demonstration...
"I'll survive being hard pressed and pounded for the time being... Damn those sharp claws!" Mya groaned, glaring to the Griff. Instantly, though, she started giggling, and then laughing, only in a matter of seconds, to end up hysterical and rolling on the ground. "TAYTEN!" she managed to yell between the laughs, her eyes retainning the same angered expression as before the surge.
"Now you..." Tayten said, smirking, turning her baby blue eyes to Gabo. "... For your information, I'm a Griphon, or a Griff, and I think I deserve more respect then a chicken!" she squawked, her eyes almost shinning. The same 'symptoms' Mya was experiencing started to mysteriously cripple to Gabo as well. "Did you know that laughing does wonders to your health?"
Dante was recovering her normal serious posture bit by bit, and what she 'sensed' wasn't of her liking. At all. Storm was there. He probably wanted to burn her again since she had just spent some fun tme (even if at the beginning it was forced...) with Mos. She wouldn't let him. He was going to pay...
==
==
Pave burst out laughing too, unable to control herself. Obviously it was running in the room, everyone else seemed to be in fits. She laughed until she couldn't hardly breathe, then sucked in a big breath and let the laughter slow down.
==
==
Storm took his eyes from Mos' form, his eyes cast downward once more. He could feel something deep inside of him, and it seemed to a result of the look Dante had shot him. He felt strong emotions pouring from her, a heated fire of hate and fury. Or..perhaps it was just in his mind?
The pink haired boy shook his head 'no' to Mos' question, lazily at first, then feverently.
You don't deserve his hugs, a voice said, playing in the back of his mind. Mos doesn't need you anymore.
Storm stopped shaking his head, eyes wide, then he pulled his knees to his chest and laided his chin on them, as if nothing had happened.
"Funny, no. Smarter then a bird-brained jokster, yes." Gabo chuckled to himself, not quite sure why he was acting this way. He usually wasn't this obnoxious to strangers..or was he?
The half demon stared back, his golden eyes fixed on Tayten's blue orbs, raising an eyebrow at her words.
Gabo suddenly burst out laughing, his silver locks bouncing with his body.
"Dont..get..me wrong..Chicken. I'm..laughing AT you.." The half demon panted, talking when he could paused between laughs.
==
==
Mos faltered and stopped. Storm didn't want a hug? Mos felt somewhat rejected, didn't Storm like him anymore? Storm was surely kidding. He moved forward slowly now, not wanting to upset Storm. Storm is acting funny. Mos thought. He brightened at the idea of a sneak hug and crept around behind Storm, readying himself to spring.
==
==
Storm kept his head against his knees, ignoring Mos as he snuck behind him. A black light caught his eyes, and he looked down to see that the orb of his bracelet was glowing slightly.
The pink haired boy thought little of it, covering the purple jewel with his slender fingers, dulling the glow. After a few moments, he removed his hand, the black light having disappeared.
==
==
Mos sprang, jumping onto Storm and positively glomping him. He squeezed tight and smiled. This was truly: the best hug -evar-. "Storm hug." Mos said simply. He wanted Storm to know that he still wanted to be his friend.
==
==
Storm's eyes widened, as he was completly taken by surprise. He love the way Mos' hugs made him feel, it almost made him forget about his earlier emotions, but not quite.
The pink haired boy shook his head 'no' as his best friend was hugging him, but he did nothing to stop the other boy.
==
==
Mos held fast to Storm, smiling and giggling. Pave smiled affectionately. "So cute." She commented.
==
==
Tayten grinned impishly, narrowing her eyes. "Chicken? You're the one who's so... chicky... Aaaah, look at the time! I have to go and deal with Mya, or else there are several risks our health is taking, especially mine. Meanwhile, you be a goooood boy and lie there laughing like there is no tommorrow, even when every tinsy bitsy muscle and patch of skin are aching as if you had spent your entire life working out non stop. How does that sound?" Sweet, sweet revenge. She trotted off to Mya's side, her attitude changing completely. "Sorry sorry sorry!! I know I have to work on my landing, and that I didn't close my forepaws to keep the claws away, but I was on a roll, ya know? The kids were having so much fun and all..."
"Tayten... You're excused, even for the slashes on my arms... they'll regenerate in no time... But do you MIND???" Mya moaned between the gaps. Tears of her forced joy rolled down her cheeks, while she kept rolling on the ground, curled into a ball. Her stomach was beginning to kinda ache by now... She could feel calm invading her though, sign that Tayten had lifted her control. "That's... one of the... cruellest tortures... I've ever known..." Mya said, gasping for air.
"Can be a great cure too!" Tayten pointed out, chirping in the end. "For physical diseases, mental diseases and an inflated ego!"
Dante turned away and went to Mya, just wanting to become oblivous to what was going on behind her. Even if was just to gain enough calm or control to figure some way to get even from Storm. Focus, focus...
==
==
Gabo squinted slightly, raising one eyebrow as he often did, looking quite confused. One of his fangs was showing as he stood there, looking dumbstruck. "'Chicky'? Are you implying that I look like a girl?" The half demon asked, a hand resting on his hip, not a perfect gesture to disprove Tayten's comment.
Pausing to take in the creature's next few words, the silver haired boy started to giggle.
Was he laughing because he wanted to, or was it the effect Tayten seemed to posses? Before long Gabo was laughing loudly, tears streaming from his eyes, and he had to run outside of the HQ; his pride not allowing him to laugh in front of the Griff.
Storm allowed the other ToR to hug him, but he still had a distant look in his eyes, almost as if he didn't recognize Mos. The pink haired boy made a disconcerted noise, close to a small sigh, and look back to the floor. It seemed that he was caught up in his own thoughts.
==
==
Mos looked sadly at Storm. Why didn't he acknowledge him? He let go of Storm and sat sadly next to him.
==
==
"Feeling better?" Tayten asked Mya, her tail curled around her paws in a guilty manner. Her right wing was still bent awkwardly to the ground, even though it didn't trouble Tayten. She hadn't tried to move it any way yet too...
"Ya. Damn, that was a big strike! Could you keep that going on for any longer?" Mya asked, her breathing regular again. She put her bags behind her ears, the silvery substance stainning her hair lightly. Three slashes could be seen on both arms where she had the hands before.
"Yeah, I think I've mastered my power! Cool, huh?" Tayten squealed, again on a good mood. She'd have flapped her wings in an impulse of joy, but a twitch of pain ran down her hurt wing. "Eek!"
"Told you you need to practice landings... Let me see that. And shut your beak, it's your fault!" Mya ran her hands through the feathers, searching for what bone was out of place. "Consider yourself lucky, just a little pull..."
"Eek!" Tayten winced again, as Mya snapped the bone back on place.
"There."
"That's it? Yuppee! Now I'm gonna search for my lovely voluntary subject for an ego treatment! No one calls me an overgrown chicken and rests unpunished!" She was already ready for another adventure. So, she ran outside, spotting Gabo's laughing figure. "Hellooooooo..." she teased, grinning.
Dante had an idea. Maybe if she searched in the cupboards around the place she'd find something that she could use to revenge herself. Yeah, that sounded like a plan. Since she couldn't see anything that could suit her in the lounge, she sneaked through an open door and proceeded with her vengeful quest...
