"Why do you care so much about me?.."Kaoru said weakly as she accepted Lareles Help grateful.She also was blushing slightly since no one ever wanted to help her..only Wolf and Larele but mostly Larele.
Kaoru had a light and gentle smile on her face..somehow to Larele she revealed her kind and vulnerable side...[sorry writters block] eek

(It's cool Kaoru.)
Mephistopheles turned back and looke at his servants.
"Guys hurry up. My people are waiting."
With that Mephistopheles started walking down the halls of the castle he walked and walked. The castle was a big place all the demon lazabouts that he and his new vassals had wooped earlier were standing around afraid to do anything. Unlike the other netherworlds the majority of the demons were culturally proned and trained to obey the overlord. Meph looked at them as he passed he shot them a smile and some of the demons were almost smitten. If he weren't so sickly of years of being chained up he would have considered him self a very beautiful man. Sad to say he was masculine when well but he had an uncanny look that some male demons couldn't help but be drawn to him. He could feel it outside, the large crowd of demons gathering. SOme were ecstatic to have an overlord again others were just curious and not so excited to see him. News crews had there cameras poised and ready. The atractive news demoness's were reporting and Meph was aproaching the door to the balcony.

"Well..it is since I feel you are a friend to me, and I dislike to to others weak or in pain.." Larele stopped herself before she said something offensive, she always had an unsteadyness in her confidence. ..you weren't supposed to waste your energy for him... Larele watched Mephistopheles, he seemed to bask in all the attention. Before she realized what she was doing, she approached him and spoke. "Me.." Larele cut herself off..she had forgotten his proper reference. The girl shifted her wings as she awaited a reply, she was infact nervous; it startled her if she forgot to address someone appropriately.

Kaoru pulled Larele back and placed her behind her."Excuse her Milord.."Kaoru said taking the risk by protecting Larele once again...she was realy noble and careing once someone gained her trust..and that someone is Larele."The crowd is waiting for you Milord you must go and claim your throne"Kaoru added with a slight bow in respect to Mephistopheles.She was still weak but she pretended not to be..showing her strong side to Mephistopheles and her weak side to Larele..She didnt cared much about her life or the New overlords but she did cared about Larele's and Wolf's Lifes.

Recovering from her state of shock, Larele glanced around, Shadow was missing again... Shadow where are you!? Larele looked at Kaoru, then Mephistopheles, she felt a bond of trust between herself and Kaoru..a rare feeling.

Kaoru turned around and smiled sweetly to Larele.."The Lord has gone to his people..please be more careful of how yo u talk..but I will try to protect you..always"Kaoru said to Larele in a calm and sincere tone as she walked past Larele"I will search for Shadow..are you coming?"She added without looking at Larele.

(Damn guys, I feel awful)
Mephistopheles stood on the balcony. He smiled and waved at his people, his netherworld, his adoring fans though the crowd had fallen silent. Mephistopheles blinked the cheers were gone and he looked around akwardly. He walked up to a pedestal and stood on it. His voice would boom into the air whilst he was on that pedestal. It was called the announcement pedestal Mephistopheles breathed in and said.
"Hello everyone My name is Mephistopheles, Son of Baal the Destructor and nephew of Nosferatoes the Chaotic. I swear to you as the new Overlord I will rule as a just and fair ruler and hope that i will go down in the record books as prominetly as my anscestor OverLord Diablo The first overlord in my blood line Crafter of the legendary Crest of the overlord. I hope you will accept me and if any of you trys to get in my way... I'LL KILL YA! HAHAHAHAHA!!! I'M IN CONTROL NOW!"

Kaoru stopped as she listened to Mephistopheles announcement..she looked down and sighed"How is he going to win people when he treats them like that,and to see that I have to serve such a fool for the eternity.."she said quietly,forgeting that Larele was next to her.Whe she notices that she was ther she blushed slightly and looked away from Larele"I apologize for my attitude,lets suppose you never heard that"She said in a cold tone.

He started summing up his speech.
"Ahem, I don't quite mean that, true might makes right but unlike my anscestors i will strive to protect the weak as I see fit and to destroy the unjust and corrupt in the Netherworld when it threatens a demon and perhaps I can go down as "Mephistopheles The Righteous" in the testament or some other nifty name that shows how fair and awsome I was. Heh Don't worry I'm a strong demon and will make an excellent OverLord."
He waved tp his people and stepped doen from the pedestal. He walked through the archway and back to his servants.
"A moving speech i must say so my self."
He said as he pretended to wipe away a tear.

I wonder where he went..Shadow must be with him by now.. Larele's thoughts trailed off and brought her slowly back to current realism. "What..? You say something, Kaoru?" Larele seemingly stared out before them; past the balcony. She had never before seen so many variations of them. Below them were demons of every size, shape, and coloration imaginable, the young guardian's gaze flitted from one end of the gathering to the other. She wasn't frightened, but in the reverse, fascinated by them. she watched as Mephistopheles's cluttered audience listened intently to him, or at least gave the appearence that they were.

By this time Kaoru recovered most of her energy,so she closed her eyes..with this she minimized her strong aura presence.She pretended not to hear Mephistopheles and his useless actions."Are you done Overlord?"She asked Mephistopheles in a cold tone,without opening her eyes.

"Yes Kaoru, I am done but I am not done, you see the job of the OverLord is never done. This Crest I wear now around my neck, it signifies that I must be tireless and ever vigilant in my protecting of this Netherworld. As you know there are atleast six other netherworlds and atleast three different Celestia's you know where your from, The angel homeworld. Well first thing first we need money to refurnish the castle and hire some vassals that are good for commodities ... ooh! and a prinny squad!"
Mephistopheles and his servants destinies had been set. The first chapter of his reign was complete, the announcement. He walked brazenly towards the main chamber. He was going to sit on his throne for the first time and issue a official order.
END CHAPTER ONE.

The longer Shadow was away from her, the more worried she became. "I have to go find them." Shadow's usually back by now... Even though she hadn't known the wolf long, Larele had begun to notice the animal's pattern; suddenly vanish then reappear with someone within the next ten minutes or so. Larele was unsre if anyone would notice her leaving or search for her, but she had to chance it; she needed Shadow..to know that she was okay..and if she had found Wolf. Larele slowly lighfted her wings (checking them to ready herself for flight) and made a quick glance around the area, in search of the nearest exit point. She was about to take off, then realized what she was doing. They will hear my wings; I'll have to start on foot. Larele gently tucked her wings in close to her, and started for the exit as Mephistopheles was talking briefly to Kaoru. The surrounding air was a mixture of dust, cobwebs, and dead things..long ago left there, trying to remember which way they had come, she headed of in one direction..unsure if it was the right one. She spotted a door and slowly began to turn its handle...

While Mephistopheles continued to talk about nonsense thing Kaoru noticed that Laele had dissappeared from her side,for the firt time she began to worry about someone." Yes My Lord I will do all those thing..please if you excuse me I have something important to do..please excuse me"Kaoru said as she bowed with respect towards mephistopheles,she then opened her golden great wings and flew off to find Larele.The place was dangerous and Kaoru knew it better than enyone else.."lease be allright.."She whispered as she continued to fly, she then spotted Larele opening a door,Kaorus eyes widened as she flew fasted,she appeared infront of Larele"Careful!!"She shouted as she protected Larele with her body, A large Wyrm appeared,dragon like and threw a large fire breath towards them,Kaoru protected Larele with her body..few of her feathers were burned,she Moved Larele back and closed the door..She looked at Larele into her eyes"A..are you ok?..anything hurts?"Kaoru asked quite worried.She then noticed that she was still embracing Larele and let go of her,she also noticed how worried she spoke and blushed and looked away as she waited for an answer..
