"Well when we arrive at the continent i hope to find those we once travelled with "

squirm walked over to the captain who was just finishing with his business and turned seeing him approach.

"The cargos all aboard, can we set sail soon."

the captain turned to his boat then back at the group looking down at them asif he was going to change his mind. He stood there for a moment with a hand in his pocket as he smoked his pipe and squirm waited patently.

"Very well, but i wont no trouble. i keep a tight ship and there’s to be no nonsense."

squirm was unsure what he meant by this but nodded and followed as he led the way onboard and began to untied the boat preparing to set sail. squirm turned to the other as he stepped onboard.

"lets go. It wont be long till we arrive at are new destination."

nightmare nodded and jumped on board leaping onto the deck very acrobatically and stood by waiting for the ship to set sail.

"Eek!"
Yarshe jumped aboard as well, never jumping onto a ship before and almost loosing her balance once on.
"yay! And we're off!" she cheered.

As Maki dozed off, she hears a humming then the pain her side begins throbbing.

"Ooooh," she moaned the throbbing becoming almost unbareable. "Stop ... not now."

But as she spoke her eyes become black on black as her pupils dilate and open wide. Her body began shaking with pain and then within a few minutes she stops.

Dark Maki:

Opening her eyes with an evil grin Maki rose from her chair and looked around for her sword.

"Hmmph. They're on to me," she said and reached around to find the blue button and pressed it. Looking around she began pushing random buttons around the room until an alarm sounded and she ran towards the elevator. "Time to collect what's mine since mother won't be using it for awhile and go home."

As the elevator reached the living quarter floors she ran down the hall to her room and picked up her weapons or what she could find of it anyways. Looking around with a sinister smile she made her way down the hall and lifted her right hand. From her palm black ooze seeped from her skin's pores and shot forward knocking a hole in the wall big enough for her to jump through.

"Ah...sand....hate sand ... too salty," she growled as she leapt through the hole towards the ground and ran as fast as she could into the desert. "Now to find that arrogant man and find out who else has my essense flowing through their veins."

Maki ran until she felt a mineral vein flowing beneath the desert sand and suddenly sank into the ground. The darkness flowing from her same hand reached down and tapped into the vein and pulled Maki's body underground and disappeared into the vast desert without a trace.

(Inside her subconsciousness)

"NOOOOOOOOO!!!!!" Maki screamed into the darkness. "STOP!!!! Let me go!!!"

Maki screamed as she felt vines tightening around her legs and pulling her into the center of the room where a green glow highlighting a rather large pod sat surrounded by more vines that weaved in and out like living snakes around it.

"SHINJA!!!!!! ZETSUEI!!!! FIRA!!!! TENSHIN!!!! HEEEEEEEEEEEEEEELLLP!!!!"

clouds appeared over head and a storm began to brew then suddenly a down pour of rain began and the captain told everyone to get below deck while he piloted the ship. the weather turned harsh and at first he was reluctant to leave him by himself but by the way he steer it looked like he had seen this type of weather before and was used to it. he looked at the other and called out.

"lets do what he says. quickly come on!"

squirm hurried to the shutter doors leading below deck and shaking of back in the dry. He walked around the small cabin looking around as he dried himself of and took a look at a bookshelf with a lot of interesting titles. the science of makina, legendary chocobo treasure and one called Byblos which he picked up.

Nightmare reluctantly followed Squirm below deck but not before letting the rain hit his sea dried face.
As he clambered down the stairs he shock his hair off of excess water as he stood by the window gazing out at the sea and mumbled to himself.

"What is she getting herself into."

Nightmare never let his eyes break the gaze that he held with the storm's tempest swirling eye, even when his hair finally settled on his back and mad the fine skin like fur even more damp.
His hands softly brushed the hair that had hidden his third eye ever since he was human, letting it also stare out.

squirm looked over for a moment at nightmare and the third eye beneath his hair. he had never seen it before even in there travels and it was a strange site he wondered what it could be used for. he could here the thundering storm outside and sat on a crate as the creaking of the ship could be heard. he flicked through the pages of the book he held as he tried to dry of becoming intrigued by the pictures and symbols. The books the captain of this ship had al looked to be extremely rare and valuable.

Walking alongside Fira Zetsuei began to look around to see if he could see any of the supplies that he knew was on the list.

"Fira, what do we need to get first from your list"

He was still worrying about Maki, he knew the darkness was getting stronger withing her and he couldnt do a thing about it.
