sachara mentioned the idea of a party theme. Last year's party was pretty general: Gaia Aquariums. Do we want to go with a theme this year? If so, what kind of themes would everyone be interested (or absolutely not interested) in?
ninja I'm with Pesty on the theme of keeping it fish based as the party is bound to be noticed by the folks at Gaia who might, just might, *coughs* feel a little more pressurized to get the Aquariums into a new format soon
lol As for my contests, this is what I've come up with so far :-
My 1st contest thread will be a RNG game called 'Are You The Lucky One?' where the player simply has to hit the number 1 to win a prize. I'm still thinking about how many tries to allow per day and what the range will be, I'll probably go with a 1 – 7 range and 4 tries daily. There will also be a few twists thrown in along the way & a raffle at the end for everyone who participates (Much the same as last year).
I was thinking my 2nd contest thread could be something along the lines of a 'Treasure Chest' finder. Every day, at a different time, I'll post an image of the chest & the 1st poster to quote it will win the chest contents (sometimes I'll post 2 per day so there's a fair chance regardless of timezone). I'm going to use a bumping service for this to prevent the thread getting static. Very easy to play anyway.
I'm always open to suggestions of better ideas if anyone wants to chip in.
Both contests to run for the duration of the party and prizes for both will be provided by me.
Should also say it's great to see sachara on board
