Nuru retrieved her Tanto from the dummy's face and stood there for a second, debating with herself whether or not to take a break or to keep training. After a few moments of thought, she decided on the former. The young Ukyo-Uzumaki sheathed her tanto, grabbed her sweatshirt off the floor, and made her way to the woman's bathroom. Once she got inside, she moved away to the changing rooms to get undressed, lock away her belongings, and make her way in to the actual shower area donned in a towel-- she wasn't a heathen after all.
Several noises attracted her attention to the fact that someone was in here already. Perhaps it was another fresh gennin? The thought warranted an audible groan from the teal haired girl, and Nuru dragged her feet over to investigate the noise. After all, if a fight broke out in the girl's bathroom and she hadn't tried to stop it, she would be shamed! Shamed! Nuru turned the corner to see...
A blob. With a head poking out of it.... was there drugs laced in this steam?

tabCrap he was spotted. He could just sink down, perhaps it would be forgotten. Perhaps she'd believe him a hallucination. Looking up at the angle he was in towards the addressee left him a surprise. It was by no means a full show through the small opening in the towel but enough to garner a reaction. The mop like head did an equivocal spit take as the floor was stained black with ink and pooled around Nuru's feet in a manner in which only one could say gross. Then again, it was unknown to him she was an Ukyo and additionally being of an Ukyo lineage it may have been more so intriguing that someone or something could just spit out ink on the fly. Even if it was just the slightest minuscule peek of 'one' its was still added to the list of Toso's seen 'ones' these including his 'wife', his sister, his mothers, his fathers, and now Nuru's.
tabStill this situation would not improve, but if he spoke it would likely be worse, there was no disguising his monotonous masculine voice, and while his gender was ambiguous for now looking more mop than man his cover would be blown if he responded. If he sunk entirely now, it would impose further curiosity, or at least this was his reasoning. Rather than respond kind of like a jelly fish it would slowly attempt to sort of jiggle its way inconspicuously passed the girl. Lord help him if Shion or someone like Jeon saw him here. They would likely recognize his behaviours and ink...slowly but surely he scuttled. But do to this if the girl still remained curious or concerned he would easily be stopped by a foot barring his way forward...then dread...caught in this situation as a twenty four year old man in a shower room that has underage girls frequenting it. Ink pooled around her feet and Nuru took a second to-- vainly --push it away with one foot to no avail. It wasn't that odd, Nuru had spilled countless amounts of ink on herself studying painting. The thought brought back the memory of spilling oil paints on carpet, and the following months of scrubbing to get the mess cleaned up. She shuttered, making a grimacing face-- she had to get an entirely new carpet for her room, and learned the valuable lesson that no one should ever paint in a room with carpets.
During her reverie, it seemed that the amorphous and ambiguous blob had tried to make it's way out of the room. It seemed... embarrassed? Uncomfortable? Nuru didn't know who or even what it was, but she guessed she could lend it a hand. The female scratched at her cheek, wondering just why it would want out of the shwoers anyways. Clearly it was here for a reason so why leave so suddenly?

Still, the head did not answer Toso was left in a situation in where he had no voice but to gun it back into the changing room, the mop head went from an inconspicuous scuttle to the equivalent of a roomba in MAXIMUM OVERDRIVE. He would achieve his goal reaching the intersection between the shower rooms and changing room...but all was not well.

The three girls would then ask their friend what she saw, who could only explain that it looked gross and that maybe it was a giant cockroach implying she didn't get a good look at him. That other girl was still in the shower room. The commotion likely having cause for alarm. Thinking quickly Toso did what he had to, its true it would have been just as strange seeing something like this in a shower room, but at least he could maintain ambiguity. Quickly before being noticed, what was once a head was now...a dog sized squid with glasses.
tab He could leave this place in this form but that would still be suspicious. No he needed someone from the inside, at least, this was his thought process in this situation. The now squiddy Toso would slither across the wet floors of the shower room, much less grimy than the male showers for certain. Before it was in front of Nuru again. Correlating ink with squid, it would be rational thinking to believe that the blobby head earlier was some form of maybe squid thing that had now revealed itself to be entirely squid. OF course rationalizing why a live squid was in the shower rooms left a lot to the imagination, escaping the clutches of a hungry girls grasp that craved fresh seafood...er a shameless girls kinks?
tab Still while he couldn't speak he rose his feeding tentacles in a manner that implied he requested being lifted, then pointed to the door leading into the changing room. The three girls inhabiting it likely planning on making their way into the shower room. Although the request being just as strange, as if Nuru complied she'd have three girls bumping into her asking why she had a squid on hand. No doubt that would get her a 'rep'.

Nuru watched in absolute silent shock as the head blob went from a snails pace to gliding across the floor like it was being pulled by a magnet. She stood there for a moment, just absolutely stunned at the current turn of events. The. Weird. s**t. Always. Happened. To. Her. Nuru went to take off her towel when a shrill scream stopped her in her tracks, making her jump and nearly slip. Skittering for a moment, pigtails flying in the wind, Nuru finally managed to get her footing. "Holy hell!" She exclaimed, leaning over and resting one hand on a wall, trying to catch her breath.
The sound of material slithering across wet tile caught her attention, and Nuru looked back again to see a... squid? The glasses that it sported allowed to to identify it as dude-bro-ma'am-sir-thing from a moment ago. It must have caused the noise she had heard. She let out a soft sigh, her shoulders slumping a little as the squid raised it's arms in a very child like "up!" motion. She tied her towel to stay up on it's own, then picked the squid up and started making her way back out of the bathroom through the changing room.
Her way was suddenly blocked by two girls, who's faces twisted in disgust at the sight of the squid in her arms. Nuru through her head back a little, letting out a groan; of course this wouldn't be easy, would it? One of the girls backed away, her lip curling up on one end.
"Oh my god, ewwwww. What is that? Is that a squid? Why are you holding that? That's so gross!" The other girl nodded, as if to agree, then made a shoo'ing motion towards Nuru.
"So weird, why do you even have one in here?!"
Nuru's face went from very visibly bothered, to a very passive look, trying to fake that what she was just about to say was common knowledge. "Don't you both know? This is a rare Ukyo Squid, cultivated by the Ukyo clan for generations. We've had a long lineage of proud squid farmers; how do you think we get our ink? This lil' one here just needed a day off-" She patted Toso's head, "-They like spa days, you see. Something about the steam makes it easier to get the ink from them-"
"Oh my god, shut up weirdo." The previous girl said, her face looking even more disgusted. "C'mon Chiaki." She said as she pulled the other young girl with her past Nuru and in to the showers. Nuru could only sigh, shaking her head.
"People are so close-minded and lame, dude-bro-ma'am-sir-thing. It's why I don't hang with people." She carried Toso out of the shower room and placed him down by the door exiting the changing room before straightening up. She put her hands on her hips, looking down at him. "Stop getting in to trouble, okay?"

There was much shuffling in the basket in which the squid dove in as a paper fell out onto the ground. A flier for the community center, or restaurant/community center/museum. It was certainly an ambitious building by the number of things that it mentioned it featured. Toso didn't know he was in the hands of Ukyo until that is, she mentioned it in defense of carrying him around. What luck, this allowed such a smoother transition. Suffice to say the 'accidental' dropping of the flier was more 'intentional'.

Sliding up his legs a pair of black pants and the beginnings of putting on a black inner coat. he wouldn't show his face but he would respond. "I agree. I appreciate the help young lady. bloop." suddenly the sound of wet footsteps coming back to the changing room. "Ah, I best hurry then."

Nuru would now be left with a girl tugging her towel and another attempting to use kai to dispel a possible henge. There were several more techniques to follow but before hand Unki felt obligied to practice the art of spinning one, if not both, of her weapons for the sake of practice. It was a lie to claim any degree of confidence in her new choice of weaponry.
Unki followed through the practiced movements. One twirl, two twirl, fly! Fly? The tonfa in her left hand slipped out of her grip or maybe she let it go on accident, not that Unki would admit to the second possibility. The steel stick clanged against whatever rafter or beam it happened to hit as it shot upward and outward to some spot in front of her, when two-and-two connected Unki let out awfully loud gasping shriek and recoiled. The tonfa landed and rang off an equally noisy thud and clank. That would have hurt anybody under it and should've left a fine bruise on Unki if she had been an unlucky So n' So.
Her palms were sweaty and probably from twirling a dangerous owie-inflicting-stick she wasn't familiar with. Unki put one stick under her arm before tip-toeing over to its twin. She reunited the pair and carried them together under one arm before realizing she had no where to store them. Unki looked down to study her clothes, pockets, and apparent lack of belt loops. There was a considerable need for a seal to be drawn up. The girl would be in need of ink if a handy seal was going to be of any service to her (unlike blood which makes a terrible medium for writing with outside of a pin p***k's worth).
"Ink ink ink...! Ink ink Ink..!" Unki hadn't met the need to borrow ink from a school since she plunged herself into a self-inflicted series of fuuin lessons. "Gotta find some I--ink ink ink! Where do I find some I--nk ink ink?" That's a good question. Where does a person find an ink bottle or a ink stick, grinder, or anything of the likeness in a place of physical training? Unki pattered around the immediate area even though the room was pretty bare except for a training manikins, suspended targets, and a superbly clean floor.
She continued her ink-song on her search into another room like the previous training hall. In time, Unki pretty much started calling out for "ink" with a set of tonfa under her arm as if it were a missing pet. The more she pattered about more she thought about freely carrying a pair of clunky, awkward steel tonfa as she swung past doorways. The thought to try wedging one to share the occupied, sword sized sheath on her back was starting to taunt her. ♪Wouldn't work. Need ink. ♫"

The young Ukyo-Uzumaki was about to return to the showers, when noise errupted behind her and suddenly her towel was ripped from her figure. Nuru sighed, standing with her back to the girls for a moment, looking up at the ceiling. Nothing was ever easy, was it? People had to go and be judgemental and weird and just... The young girl turned to the other two girls behind her, putting her hands on her hips, giving them an annoyed look. Chiaki and whatever her name was seemed surprised and embarrassed. Nuru reached down, grabbed a flip flop from the ground, then channeled her chakra in to it and pelted one of the girls in the face. "Can ya'll please mind your own damn business?! Damn!"
The flip flop, which had been thrown using Swift Dart, caused Chiaki go fall backwards on her a**. The other girl screamed, scrambling back. "Someone help! This crazy b***h just attacked us!"
Nuru slowly set her face in her hand, letting out a groan. Why couldn't they just go away? She was gonna get in to so much trouble for this, even though they were the ones being rude. She could see it all in her future, a drip to the Arashikage's office, a lecture, the whole nine yards. All she wanted to do was take a shower!

Soon-ae awoke in the dojo after a short nap with only one thought in her mind; drink. "No! I can't! I have to be strong! I have to train!" She jumped back up with such fierce vigor. She then picks up her wooden training sword and begins shuffling her feet forward while lunging with the sword. "Hmm...." Something felt a bit off. This time, she took one large step followed with the thrust of the sword. "Still too slow..." This final time, she took a mere two steps and thrusted. "Ok, I think I got it now." Soon-ae took away the lunge and practiced the steps many, many more times until finally being able to get it. By the time she was finished, to the naked eye, Soon-ae appeared to be teleporting. She took a break but when she did, she noticed how late it was. After taking a deep breath, she decided to hit the dummies to see if she had actually learned it. She took a moment to concentrate. Then suddenly, Soon-ae stepped and stabbed the training dummy piercing it's chest. Soon-ae took a deep breath, exhaled and released her grip on the sword. "Yes! I did it! Only one more step on the road... Father would have been proud..." She paused for a moment. Then, she turned back to reach for the training sword. The attack was so strong, the sword was actually stuck. Soon-ae smirked as the tears rolled down her face. She left the sword there and as she walked away she uttered those same evil, evil words. "I need a drink."

The last time Soon-ae trained, it took a toll on her mentally. She got so trashed that night, that she ended up wasting an entire day of training over a bad hangover the next day. Since then, she made a vow that she wouldn't allow herself to succumb to the ill thoughts of the past any longer. Though it would be tough, she wouldn't shed any more tears. She walked in the dojo ready to train, but Soon-ae took to something different today. She had seen a technique that didn't seem to belong to any of the styles of swordplay she knew; the technique wasn't a ninjustsu either. She grasped the basic concept, but was having trouble executing it. She had tried earlier to do it, but when she did she shattered the training sword. She had a feeling something like this would happen again, so she had bought three extra ones just in case. She gripped the next sword and sent chakara into the blade. It flowed through smoothly until it cracked all the way through "Damn it!" She thought of what she could be doing wrong. That one was significantly better than the first try, though. She thought and thought and then decided to try something different. This time the flow went just as smoothly but she eased back some. This sword only cracked in a small section of the blade. That's when she got it. The flow was too much for the sword to handle. The next try she was confident she would succeed. Like a charm, she was able to maintain it better, so much so that she dissipated and refilled it many a time. "Now comes the hard part..." Soon-ae turned to face the wall. She filled the sword up and swung, releasing it. The crescent slash was indeed strong, but hard to aim. Soon-ae spent the rest of her time training there, swinging until she was able to control it better. "That's enough for today. That was really hard... I know! I'll reward myself with a drink!" Excited, she was about to leave when she saw him. Her face instantly turned red. She was stunned by the man in the headgear.
Learned Fromless Technique:Bushi Ken no Jutsu - Samurai Sabre Technique
Upon Reō's arrival at the dojo, he took a moment to examine the exterior and take in it's rustic beauty, then stepped inside. It was the same as it was the last thousand times he had come to train, and it brought him some sort of comfort; the familiarity, the solitude. As he started heading for the corner he always trained in, something caught his eye. A girl wearing a uniform, with vividly purple hair. Reō had seen her training here before, though he never spoke to her. Deciding it was finally time to attempt to be social, Reō started walking towards her, planning on introducing himself. As he got close, however, it seemed the girl had noticed him. Her face was instantly flushed, and before Reō could say a word, she bolted out of the dojo. "How peculiar. I wonder why she ran?" he thought to himself, stroking his chin. Losing interest in the thought, Reō walked over to the training dummies in the corner and readied himself for his training session.
First on his list of training for the day was the Hidden Mist technique. Reō had been anxiously waiting this day, as it was a signature technique of a true shinobi; to shroud the area in mist and silently assassinate their victim. After performing the handseals, he made his first attempt.
"Hidden Mist technique!" Reō announced somewhat loudly.
A small amount of mist formed around him, though not to his satisfaction. He tried again, this time bearing a slightly more impressive result. He still wasn't satisfied with the outcome, so he tried again. This time, the jutsu worked as intended; a heavy mist started to fill the area around him. "Alright, one down. Let's try the next step" he thought as he prepared to use his next technique.
"Hidden Mist Vision" Reō whispered, trying to fully immerse himself into the jutsu.
Like magic, Reō could see through the mist he had created. He scanned the dojo, being able to see the other people training by themselves. With a slow exhale, his vision faded and the mist started to dissipate. Reō was two for two now, and he used it to fuel his determination. He would keep training harder. The next technique was decidedly harder than the previous two. The Eight Tentacles technique had proven difficult for him before, but today he knew he would master it. Reō pulled out 8 kunai from his pouch, and threw them high into the air. Without missing a beat, he bent his legs a bit, and performed the hand seals.
"Water Style, Eight Tentacles!" He shouted, eyes closed, intently focused on performing well.
Eight large tentacles of water sprouted from his back, and he attempted to knock the kunai he had previously thrown out of the air. Fivr of the kunai were struck, but the others simply fell to the floor untouched. Reō had managed to pull off the jutsu, but his proficiency was still lacking. A couple tries later, and he was knocking the kunai out of the air like he had been doing it for years. Natural talent definitely has it's advantages.
After taking a short break to recharge his chakra, Reō set forth to begin training the technique he'd had the toughest time learning; the Water Sword technique. Of all the days Reō has spent training, today was the day he rose to new levels, and he knew it. His desire burned inside of him like a raging wildfire. After getting his footing, Reō made the hand seals. Water started forming in his hand, and he felt like he had done it. However, that cockiness was what caused the sword to form about halfway before falling apart, falling to the floor. "I will master this technique." he thought. "I will not be stopped here." Reō readied himself, and tried again. And again. And again. And again.
Three hours passed during his training of Water Sword, and Reō was on the precipice of getting it. He was exhausted and drained of chakra, but he was too proud to give up or rest. With one last deep inhale and exhale, he formed his hand seals.
"WATER STYLE, WATER SWORD!!" he bellowed, startling some of the other students, while others watched from afar on their own breaks.
With one final surge of chakra, and quite possibly the last of his reserves, he summoned a large portion of water in his hand, and the sword fully formed. He received a few cheers and small applause from some of the people watching him. His ego was soaring, but Reō himself dropped to a knee after releasing the jutsu. He was exhausted, yet ecstatic that he finally mastered the technique. After getting to his feet, Reō bowed to a few of the people still training, and set off to get some food, his stomach was more angry with him than the old man had been. With both hands resting on his neck, elbows angled wide, Reō walked somewhay jovially towards his favorite ramen shop for a well deserved meal.

Reō entered the dojo, and stopped to take a breath. This morning had been mucg better than the day prior. No old feeble gentleman, no distractions. Reō was excited to start training his Taijutsu, especially with the master he trained under, though he mostly had to train by himself. Today he would try to master the Flow Like Water technique, the first step on his long path to taijutsu expertise. With minimal prep time, Reō readied himself; feet shoulders width apart, and began to slightly crouch. He raised his fists, and began to coil energy into his arms and legs. "Alright, time to focus" Reō thought as he centered himself, which took a bit of time. In an instant, Reō's eyes shot open, and he struck forward with a kick so fast, that it felt like he had almost teleported across the room. "...w-..wow" He stuttered in his mind. He couldn't believe that it felt like that.
"Well then..." Reō said, scratching his head. "Let's move on."

With the first taijutsu technique down, Reō quickly moved on to the next step, not wanting to lose his momentum. He had been reading about Shift Like The Sea, and as he understood it, was a very difficult technique for beginners. Reō scoffed. Like he would be held back. He was a prodigy. Reō began to crouch again, however this time instead of launching forward ward, Reō was making lightning-quick sidesteps, closing in on the the training dummy. As he reached his intended target, Reō plunged a kunai into the back of the dummy's head with a thud. It had felt so complex as he was performing it, but after he stopped he felt like the technique had been in the blink of an eye.
"So far, so good. Now... for Crash Like A Wave" Reō said, obvious that he wasn't particularly excited.

The Kyofu. A weapon passed down to Soon-ae from her father. She had learned to fight with many a blade, but this was strange. This was no ordinary blade. It may have been extremely light, but it was still a medium sized weapon. She needed to be flawless with her swings either way. Day in and night out, Soon-ae was out practicing swings until she would almost drop from over working her body. She had too however. "If it means getting better with The Kyofu then I must do it at all costs. For father's sake..." Soon-ae quickly bottled the tears that arose and went back to swinging. By swinging that sword, she wasn't just getting stronger physically, she was growing mentally and emotionally as well. In the days that she had been coming back to the main dojo, she had noticed the man in the headgear a few times. Unsure if he had seen her and embarrassed from the last time, Soon-ae made sure to keep her distance. She did have a little to drink before she came today however, and was feeling the "liquid courage". She decided she would approach him today.
Crash Like A Wave is a very precise technique, and Reō knew it. He was going to have to take his time to prepare if he was going to master it. "Alright. Here goes." Reō thought to himself as he quickly made hand seals.
"Clone Technique" Reō said flatly, as a clone of himself popped into existence.
Reō went through the motions of what he had already been training, and got into his stance. After a few minutes of this, his clone came towards him, and unleashed a high kick. True to his training, Reō had been storing chakra in his arms and legs, coiled and ready to strike. As the kick came in, he ducked, shot to the side, and his fist came crashing down upon his clones ribs. In an instant, the clone vanished in a plume of smoke. Pleased with himself, Reō continued on with his taijutsu training.
