Maybe he was trying too hard. He really didn't know how to court someone in this time. "I would like to share my history with you, but I've been alone for so long I don't really know what I enjoy anymore. I used to like the thrill of a battle, fine foods, riding Artix. The one thing I know I dislike are vampire hunters. Granted they don't like me either and I don't blame them." He wished there was more he could say, could do to interest Alvin. "I'm a relic like everything else in this castle. I'm surprised you haven't been bored to death by me yet."

Vlad listened to what Alvin said about getting out of the coffin and expanding his hobbies and interests. "I'm interested in you am I not? I also learned how to cook, so I think that's a new hobby." He said softly before looking away. "It's difficult finding something new to like or be interested in when most either fear you or want you dead. I still get those that try to hunt me. The people in town are a bit more open to me being around. I provide the town protection and a source of income. Tours come by to see the prince, to learn the history." It had been a rather sad and lonely life for him actually. Sure he had taken lovers before but they either grew tired of each other and left or a hunter came by and the lover was killed. Eventually the king of vampires stopped searching until Alvin came along.

He saw the frown and knew what it was from. With a smile he stepped forward and pulled Alvin close to himself before whispering in his ear. "Don't be upset I didn't respond love, I didn't want to startle you if I did this." He leaned forward then and kissed the teen and didn't hold back. When he did step away he was smirking.

"A date sounds nice though I'm not too sure about videogames.... Or movies. Though I'm more then willing for you."

Vlad smirked looking at Alvin as the boy ran off. Well, that was promising. With a chuckle he shook his head and returned to his castle. It wouldn't be long before he was with Alvin he was sure of it. The issue was the father. Perhaps he should start to pack for a trip to the neighboring town? It only seemed right to do so if he was going to continue pursuing the teen. If the boy's father was that worried about his son's safety, he couldn't be safer with him. No one challenged him after all.

Vlad wondered about what Alvin was doing. He was sure that Warren had been nearby when he gave a kiss to the teen, but that wasn't really his issue. He knew the man enough to know that neither of them were going to be lectured or worse. It could however prevent Alvin from coming to see him again. That thought was going to annoy him for a moment. Perhaps he should go and visit the motel that they were staying at? Even the thought of his... his what? Future lover? He wasn't sure what Alvin was yet, but he didn't like that the boy was stuck in some motel far from his town and his protection. Sure Warren could handle protecting the other, but he still didn't like the thought of anyone going after them.

He growled as he realized he had been pacing in his room tossing the object he held in his hand. Why was he getting frustrated over not being near the other? To protect him? That was his job! His right wasn't it?

The only time Vlad felt at ease recently was when he was near Alvin, and he made sure to spend as much time as he could near the other. Yes, he was aware that others of his kind were aware of his affections towards the teen and that was partially why he was near Alvin when he could be. Warren could handle the motel, but he still didn't like the situation. On the last day Alvin had asked to be alone and Vlad complied though he wasn't happy about it. Was it because he didn't wish to be around a vampire anymore? Or was it due to the fact it was his last night and he thought a cold break was the best way to deal with such a situation? He didn't know and he paced the hallways glancing at the windows when he passed them.

As he saw the students coming he spotted Alvin and stopped. That little.... he did all of that to make him worry! Well, Alvin was going to be in for it tonight he would be sure of it. Vlad went towards his private wing and had the room closest to his prepared for Alvin.

When everyone arrived he had another elegant meal planned his eyes never leaving the teen, but few noticed it. 'Your in trouble Alvin for making me worry about you.' Was all he thought to the teen. He would let the other figure out what he meant.

Vlad waited until an hour later before he went and knocked on Alvin's door. He had let the boy fret for a bit before he walked into the room. "So, you were able to spend a night here, yet you thought that I would enjoy thinking you didn't wish to see me again?" He asked appearing cold and a bit distant towards the teen. "You know one's heart, even if it doesn't beat, is a dangerous thing to play with." He said looking at the teen on the bed and the stuffed dinosaur. That was cute, his love interest had to sleep with a toy to feel safe. He was sure things would change at some point thought.

When he felt he had tormented Alvin enough he moved towards the bed at a speed the human eye couldn't track. He was above Alvin and smirking. "Now, what should I do with you...."

He smiled fangs showing for a moment before he leaned down only to whisper in his ear. "Prepare for your punishment." With that he started to tickle the other figuring he couldn't do anything more at the moment, a stolen kiss here and there, but that was it.
