"I really dislike bullies. How about I take control of your mind and make you start beating yourself up?"
Luna's eyes grew wide, as she didn't really know what to do. She hadn't expected this kind of reaction. She felt like calling Rose to help her out, but decided against it.
"Shh. It'll be okay."
She wrapped her arms around the girl and embraced her, letting her cry. She knew what it was like to be saved from a horrible fate. her father had saved her from death. Literally.
"We're not angels. But yes, you're safe...kind of."
So let's put aside our foolish pride
And let our hearts say hello
We both agree we're just no good

Shreoake Shreoake returned Luna's embrace and continued to cry into her side for quite some time. Eventually, the sobs died down as the petite blond began to rein in on her emotions. Shreoake released the captain and began to wipe away her tears. After another moment or so she manged a weak smile and spoke. "Stay positive, right? Things can only get better from here. I'm sorry if I got your outfit a little wet. I guess I just needed to vent a little... Um, anyway, I was told I needed to come here to talk to the captain. Does that mean this is your vessel, uh, Ma'am?"

:una's laugh was as musical as her voice.
"It's fine. It's washable."
She gestured to the assorted chairs.
"Have a seat, and we can talk about you."
She took her seat and grabbed the padd again, the one with Shreoake's face and name on it.

Shreoake "Oh, ok." Shreoake did as she was asked and sat down in a chair opposite of the captain. She folded her hands and placed them on the table before her. She then looked up at the captain expectantly. Her large green eyes were still a bit bleary from her crying.

Luna leaned back, hands clasped in front of her. Her pink hair was slightly undone, as she'd been moving constantly.
"So, Miss Mathison...Shreoake, tell me a little about yourself."
She left the padd where it was. She wanted the girl to feel more comfortable. After all, Luna was aware that sometimes she was intimidating. until she tripped.

Shreoake "Oh, uh... well." Shreoake paused for a moment as she gathered her thoughts on this matter. "I guess I don't have a lot to say about myself. Um, well, I cant remember anything from before two years ago. People tell me I suffer from, uh, well, amnesia..." The girl quickly continued on. It seemed she didn't want to linger on the subject. "Anyways, they found me wandering the wastelands and they brought me back to live in the refugee camp. I did the best I could there to help out... I didn't have much in the way of skills but I would go out a lot on scavenging parties and help find supplies. I sort of have a knack for finding things and the heat and the dust and everything bugged me a lot less than it did pretty much everyone else."Shreoake fell into silence again as she tried to figure out what else she could say. She had never been asked to describe herself like this before. Also, she knew her emotions were on a hair trigger. If she focused too much on her the memories, she knew she would start crying again. "I, uh... I try to be positive the best I can. People in the camp seemed to like me so I would try to cheer them up. They told me I had a nice voice so I would sing for them a lot. The other refugees especially seemed to enjoy that. Everyone would gather around and I guess you could say I would put on sort of show. I... uh... can't really think of anything else to say about my self. Is there anything else you need to know?"

Luna's left eyebrow went up, a habit she'd picked up from her father.
"Another talented scavenger, eh? I can't put you in charge of a search party, due to age, but i can always assign you to one. Maybe have you join each team, so you gain knowledge and experience easy?"
She actually entered something into the padd, Shreoake's personnel file.
"You'd always be protected, as we have marines secure the area before we send down the away teams. And...your amnesia...Dr. Sadenes could always do a brain scan, find out where the issue is, and see if she can fix your memory. We have the technology for it."

Shreoake "Oh, have you gotten a lot of people saying that today? I guess we all were part-time scavengers down there, hehe. Really, it was the only way we could survive, taking all we could find in the wreckage." The sad thoughts began to creep back into Shreoake's mind but she quickly chased them away. "I... I wish I had more to offer. I really want to help. I have to pay you back for rescuing us, after all. I would be happy to be a member of the search teams, if that's where you would have me. People also tell me I am an amazingly quick learner. If you wanted to assign me to learning some sort of skill I would give it a hundred percent until I knew it in and out!" As she spoke, Shreoake began to get excited about the new possibilities that laid before her, things that had only been mere dreams less than a day before. However, as the topic shifted over to her memory she suddenly became subdued again. "My memories...." Shreoake fell silent for several minutes, her face lost in thought. After another moment or so she spoke. "Oh, uh, thank you for the offer. But for now... I think I would prefer to not try and recover them. There must be a reason why I lost my memories. I feel... I feel there will be more pain there than I want to deal with right now. I-I hope you can understand." Shreoake looked apologetically at Luna. "Let us focus on the future instead!"

Luna couldn't help but grin.
"I like your attitude."
She entered another bit of information.
"Alrighty, I'm giving you a room to yourself, at the moment. There's another girl about your age in Sickbay right now., She'll end up being your roommate."
She handed Shreoake another padd.
"This contains a layout of the Unity, minus the areas you shouldn't be in, and also includes where your room is."

Shreoake Shreoake accepted the padd from Luna though she looked a little unsure of how to use it. Nonetheless, she thanked the captain for it and tucked it under her arm. Shreoake got up from her chair and bowed respectfully. However, instead of walking out of the conference room, she lingered next to the table. Shreoake looked as if she wanted to ask something but seemed a bit shy about it. After another moment or so she managed to ask her question. "Ah, Captain, Ma'am. I want to thank you for the room and I look forward to meeting my new roommate but... would it possible for me to get some new clothes?" Shreoake looked down at the grubby rags from the shelter that passed as her outfit. They felt uncharacteristically out of place in the shiny, sterile atmosphere of the Unity. "I would greatly appreciate it!"

Luna sighed, fiddling with a lock of hair.
"We were never equipped to handle people without their own clothes. it sounds morbid., but if you need more clothing, there's a donation closet on Deck ten. The clothing came from the dead. It's the best we can do."

Shreoake "I... uh.... I guess that will have to do, then. Thank you." "Shreoake had seemed a little put off by how frank the captain had been in describing that the extra clothes were from the dead but then she realized her current worn out clothing shared a similar source. She had originally found her current outfit several months ago in a dresser half buried in rubble. It was not from a ruined store so it had to have belonged to someone before her. Back then she just did her best not to think about it. Shreoake bowed once more to the captain before exiting the conference room. She took the padd out from beneath her arm and began to poke at it until it displayed the map of the ship. Working technology was rare down in the camp so having a device like this now seemed like a treasure; she could tell they would be best friends over the next few weeks as she used it to learn her away around the ship and the new, broader world her life had been thrust into. She could not help but be excited at the journey that now lay before her. Lord Redtail Rathan I'm going to be out of town for the next four days with questionable connectivity just wanted to give the heads up.

 Bonnie Clyde Bonnie had left the medical bay heading to the right, she continued to walk, keeping a look out to the left for a room labeled: Conference. Or conference room, something with the word conference on it. It hadn't taken her very long to find the room, when she arrived, the mechanical whoosh of the door opening made her smile again, she wondered how long that would take to get old. The room was pretty small compared to the medical bay, but then again, it was most likely designed for the heads of staff to come here, not the sheer amount of refugees that had been brought aboard. Taking a quick look around Bonnie noticed a pink haired woman in the room with her, "Hello, I was told by Doctor Sadenes to come talk to Miss Luna?" she said quietly, she had no idea who anyone was on this ship.

Luna looked up and smiled at the girl that'd just entered. She gestured to the chair across from her.
"Ah, you must be Bonnie. Please, have a seat."
She'd been going over a padd in front of her. It had a picture of Bonnie's face on it.
"I want to apologize for the long wait. it's been a hectic day and a half."

Bonnie Clyde Bonnie looked at the woman smiling at her, as she motioned to the seat and said her name before offering her a seat, Bonnie walked over to the chair and sat down softly. A little nervous as to what was happening, the medical examination had been one thing, it was to check her health, but as for this... she could only assume it was about her brains, or more to the point education and what exactly she could do. That was never her strong point. She had a hard time talking about herself. Watching the woman who she could only imagine was the 'Luna' she was looking for. She nodded, "It's alright, I had to go to the medical bay first... Thank you for taking us away from the surface... things were getting pretty bad" she said softly with an uneasy smile.
