I hear we are discussing stat raising moves? One of my pokemon has the move Double Team and I used it to dodge attacks in one roleplay that I was in. I still lost, but it's a good way to dodge things.
Then again, it would really count as trying to dodge an attack instead of raising stats... sweatdrop Carry on then. *barrel rolls out*
She's right, double team and Sand attack are good stat changers even in RP
Double Team would be counted as a dodge and no one uses Sand Attack. I've never seen someone use that in a RP mainly because it is useless. And I'm not trying to have the Guild stat based I just want a damage and health system for battling. Would you really waist a turn using Sand Attack rather then using a move that can really cause damage?
Well, that is if you use it to dodge as well. Kicking dust into the air can create some type of "invisibility cloak". I would personally like to count it was a way to dodge. It has happened in the anime. (I think it has...) It would prove useful for like a way to escape. Especially in dirt roads or heavily sanded areas. However, I see your point.
Instead of sand attack, I would like to just use an attack move on the GROUND and have it cloak a pokemon as a self-defense mechanism. If... I am allowed to do that, chief?
To some extent yeah. And Sand Attack would be counted as a dodge move.

Heh, yeah... Sometimes I have to wonder what the trainers in the actual games live off of, since the most we see them make are Pokeblocks and Poffins.
And they don't have meat either...Atleast not legally o.o XD How you get food in Pokemon:

XD That pic certainly made my day. Seriously, though, one has to wonder about some of that food... Either they have some berry that's their world's equivalent to soybeans and it's all tofu, or they're eating their "dear friends" left and right...

Well, if the anime is anything to go by, the pellets taste terrible without any added berries for flavor.
It disturbed the heck out of me! D: Would they eat pokemon!?
Well, considering that, at the time, they were floating on a piece of debris in the middle of the sea/ocean and land was nowhere in sight, the "useless" Magikarp that belonged to James would have been rather appetizing for them. Well, until Meowth actually tried sinking his teeth into it and found out its scales are too hard to bite through... But yeah, given the depraved (in our opinion) things humans in the real world will eat, either as national delicacies or just from desperation, I'd assume that, if push comes to shove, those Miltank will be sent off to the slaughterhouse and turned into little beef patties.

I just shivered. I'd like to believe they have the normal sources of meat and food we have in our world. So they wouldn't eat Pokemon. But I'd probably just be lying to myself -_-'
