Laz has no idea what just happened, he just knows that this neko is about to faceplant on the ground next to him. So he turns and catches her in his arms, even though she had tried not to land on him. Pulling her upright, he blushes again and lets her go, looking away and scratching the back of his head awkwardly. "Sorry, u-uhm... You okay, Sai?"Mathias smiles and holds in a laugh, then leans over to Marrice and whispers, "Smooth those two, aren't they? I give it a week before they're all over each other."

Sai blushed and lay her ears back shyly as she wrapped her tail around her leg and nodded. "Y-yes....th-thank you...." She mumbled and glanced at his reaction to the trip and felt a bit less embarrassed because it seemed he felt just as nervous.
Marrice held in a small giggle at Mathias' words and smiled at him. "I'm pretty sure you're right on that one." She said and looked over at the harpy and neko again, feeling a bit envious of the emotion that was in the air around them. As she had not been one to ever have a relationship, even before she arrived. The human had kept to herself, and had no friends until she met Mathias and his brother. (Though she had gotten to know Mathias better and enjoyed his company).

"I, uh... Never actually told you all my name, did I?" he says to everyone, even though he was focused on Sai. "It's Lazarus Swiftwing, but I also go by Hawkeye, Laz, Lazzy, and 'that damn harpy.' As the strategist, I mainly take care of the Blessed Legion's business, while the twins cover the forge." Looking to Mathias, he adds, "Speaking of which, shouldn't you be closing up shop, not wasting time flirting with your protégé?"Mathias shrugs and laughs, countering with his own comment. "I don't think you're the one to talk to me about flirting, since you just swept that poor girl off her feet. But I guess you're right." He walks back to the door with a bit of a swing in his step and holds it open as he turns back to Marrice for a parting statement. "Feel free to wait in here if you want. I won't be long."-Mathias exit to Forge-

Sai blushed even more at Mathias' comment and glanced at Lazarus, taking in what he explained what he did. "U-u-um...." She mumbled, wanting to ask about one of his nicknames, but her sister jumped in. "Hey mister! Why did you say that you're called 'that damn harpy'?" Her narrow eyes focused on the winged guy, knowing that she was embarrassing her elder sister who was obviously starting to crush big time on him.
Marrice blinked at the comment, a little fazed by it, and glanced at Mathias before he left and nodded, going to the door. "I can join you." She stated before following him out.

Laz's expression turns into a smirk, and he leans down to the younger neko's height, looking her in the eyes, intending to intimidate and/or mess with her. "If you must know, that's what my enemies scream after I'm done with them..." He laughs a bit and continues smiling, poking the little one's nose. "Your room will be the last on the right, I believe. Don't let her get into too much trouble," he adds with a wink to Sai.

Sai blushed a little as she watched the harpy smirk at her sibling, and nodded shyly at his words to her. "Y-yes, I'll make sure she'd less obnoxious than today.." The neko girl looked down shyly and felt her sister move behind her. "Sis, I'll leave you and lover bird hear then. I'm going to our room." The younger but more abrasive neko said with a push of the elder. Sending her with a shocked squeak, stumbling into Lazarus again.

Lazarus's eyes widen as the mischievous younger sister pushes Sai into him again, this time she falls straight into him, their chests touching. Blood rushes to the harpy's cheeks and he steps away, feeling embarrassed all over again. Ranko's comment didn't help either. "W-well... That was interesting..." He shyly looks away, letting the blush fade from his cheeks.

Sai blushes deeply and her ears lay flat against her head as her tail stays firmly around her leg. She glances nervously at Laz and nods rigidly. "Y-y-yeah....s-s-sorry....." The neko mumbles, her face very pink as she looks curiously and shyly at the harpy.

Lazarus can't help but blush a little again at the neko girl's cute shyness. He just can't resist other demi-humans. "Uhm..... You don't need to... Be so nervous... I'm not gonna bite or anything..." He smiles warmly at her, his blush evident. "So... D'you need anything?..."

Sai's eyes widened a little when she saw the harpy was blushing, and her tail unfolded a little, her ears going forward in more curiosity. "U-uh....I-is there anything I can do right now....? I mean...my sister and I haven't done much besides cause trouble in the little time we've been here...I do want to help out..." She mumbled, her eyes looking nervous as her cheeks stayed pink and her cat-like curiosity stood out as she was obviously interested in him but extremely shy. "W-who said anything about anyone biting?" She tilted her head to the side, ears perked towards Laz, blush lessened, and obviously letting her curiosity take over.

Lazarus can't believe how cute this neko is. His eyes follow her tail, then he realizes she probably noticed that and he quickly looks away, mortified. "Y-you just got here... I wanna make sure you don't need food or water or anything first... You must be tired..." He laughs a bit when she mentions the biting thing again. "It's just a figure of speech..."

Sai notices the harpy look at her tail, and tilts her head more as she lets it unravel from her leg completely before moving it from side to side. "Not really, and I suggest not offering Ranko food before around the time dinner would be or she'll eat until nothing is left. Though really, we're used to traveling by now....so I-I'm not tired.." She continued to stare at Laz with curiosity even though she felt her cheeks heat again and her gaze wander away in slight nervousness.

"I see..." Lazarus thinks for a moment, trying not to stare, then goes to a cupboard, pulls out part of a loaf of bread, and hands it to Sai. "Please, eat something before we get to work. I'll feel bad if you don't."

Sai pouts a little and takes the bread. She eats it quickly enough to get crumbs scattered on her face and tilts her head curiously at the look Laz gives her when she finishes the snack. Her tail swishing lightly behind her and her ears perked towards the harpy, she looks innocently but with a slight blush.

Lazarus blinks at her, a bit confused. "So, does that mean you WERE hungry? Or are you just always that sloppy when you eat?" His eyes can't help but follow her moving tail again... It's so mesmerizing...
