  ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ Atticus stared at her with fiery red eyes, "Are you serious? All that I did, I did it for you, and yet you don't feel anything, instead you laugh in my face." he said as he lowered his sword. "You are no longer the person I thought you were." Atticus said as he transformed his hand back to normal, and let her go. As she began crying, Atticus would stand up and turn away from her, "Killing you now would mean nothing, and serve no other purpose, other than angering your father. All in all, your life has become meaningless to me. You were the one who wanted me to change and be better, but now you mock and ridicule me because of how I changed for you. You've done more damage to me than any other person has." he said as he looked over at the puppets, "If you continue lying there and crying over how you are now, then you will never change." walking towards the puppets, Atticus would change both of his hands into swords, "I have no need for a weak partner like that. Just stay there and die, I will lead the others to safety."▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬

She muttered before suddenly getting up, almost like her body got up on its own. The pendant fell on the ground then, coming off on its own as the roller blades suddenly glowed and she took off in some other direction of the town, disappearing from sight then. `•.¸¸.•´´¯`••.¸¸.•´´¯`•´ `•.¸¸.•´´¯`••.¸¸.•´´¯`•´ `•.¸¸.•´´¯`••.¸¸.•´´¯`•´ "I will fight for what I believe in no matter the cost."

▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ As she apologized, Atticus would not even look at her, "It is too late, you said what you truly felt this entire time." he said as he heard Shira take off towards another part of the town, yet he didn't even try to stop her or at least see where she went. "...and now you are running away from the mess you caused. You really are a coward." he muttered as he then heard the sound of the pendant fall off her. Not wanting to turn around, Atticus would instead focus on the puppets, suddenly hordes of puppets would be seen walking towards Atticus, "I no longer have to hold back myself because of you." he said as he walked towards the horde and began attacking.▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬

Shira๑The Next Grim Reaper "I will not give up..."
`•.¸¸.•´´¯`••.¸¸.•´´¯`•´ `•.¸¸.•´´¯`••.¸¸.•´´¯`•´ `•.¸¸.•´´¯`••.¸¸.•´´¯`•´ Shira ended up in the other side of town, flying uncontrollably before blasting herself through a glass window and onto a floor of a room. More cuts appeared on her as she laid there, the madness continued to pulse through her, controlling her body so now she could no longer move. She laid on the ground quietly, her eyes still dim though the madness didn't seem to be controlling how she spoke or acted now. She continued seeing corpses everywhere but it didn't seem to bother her anymore. I really screwed up... she thought as she laid there she attempted to move but couldn't, it seemed her voice was shut off too. It is definitely over between Atticus and I now. she thought as she stared at her hands which now felt like they were on fire. Voices continued to go through her head then, mocking her and attempting to get her to lose it enough for the madness to take over once more. `•.¸¸.•´´¯`••.¸¸.•´´¯`•´ `•.¸¸.•´´¯`••.¸¸.•´´¯`•´ `•.¸¸.•´´¯`••.¸¸.•´´¯`•´ "I will fight for what I believe in no matter the cost."

▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ One by one, Atticus would take out the puppets, but he would also suffer major blows to his stomach and head. Atticus would soon find himself completely surrounded by the puppets, looking back at the survivors, he would motion for them to take this chance and sneak away while all of the puppets are focused on him. Nodding, one of the males would begin to slowly move them all out one by one, carefully making sure that they wouldn't make a sound. As this happened Atticus would draw even more of the puppets to him by unleashing a powerful beam of energy into the air, which also took out quite a few of the puppets that had him surrounded, but it drained a lot out of him.▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬

`•.¸¸.•´´¯`••.¸¸.•´´¯`•´ `•.¸¸.•´´¯`••.¸¸.•´´¯`•´ `•.¸¸.•´´¯`••.¸¸.•´´¯`•´ Shira managed to get up and lean against the wall, attempting to fight off the madness going through her head. She started thinking about how there was a chance that things would end for her there, either she would fall into madness permanently or die from the injuries she had received. As those thoughts started to take over her head she suddenly hit her hand on the ground, causing a huge wave of pain to go through her "No... I have already screwed up enough." She muttered as she managed to get up "I am not going to act like this anymore... I will not hesitate anymore..." She said to herself as the lines suddenly came back and the things in her head started to fade. She leaned against the wall as she felt some of the cuts start to heal and her wavelength increase a bit. `•.¸¸.•´´¯`••.¸¸.•´´¯`•´ `•.¸¸.•´´¯`••.¸¸.•´´¯`•´ `•.¸¸.•´´¯`••.¸¸.•´´¯`•´ "I will fight for what I believe in no matter the cost."

▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ With nearly half of his power wasted in trying to lure the puppets away from the others, Atticus would be severely fatigued and covered in cuts. Panting heavily, Atticus looked to see if Anastasia was doing alright with the puppets that were by her. Looking back to where the group was, Atticus saw that everyone was gone, except for that little girl who had taken i liking to him. While watching, Atticus would see a shadowy figure behind her. "Run now!!!" he yelled as the girl didn't even have enough time to turn around, before she was pierced in the chest by a sword. As he watched this happen, Atticus' soul would suddenly turn blacker and his soul wavelength would go berserk. Even though he showed no physical sign of sadness or pain, one could tell that he was in a lot pain at the little girl's death. Suddenly, Atticus would let out a powerful yell, one filled with sadness and despair, the yell could be heard all across the town. ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬

She closed her eyes once more and her wavelength suddenly rose as she focused on the madness. Suddenly her lines turned black again while her hair suddenly turned white and grew out a bit. "I will not hesitate anymore." She said as she mastered the Madness release. Puppets suddenly burst into the room but would be blasted backwards by a strong blast of light. Shira's clothes changed a bit as well before staring out the window, she disappeared then before appearing in front of the huge group of puppets. Cannons appeared on her hands then and aimed at them "Death Cannon..." she muttered before twin blasts suddenly came over the large group. Once it cleared, most of them were gone except for the few that still roamed around the town. Her hands turned back to normal but she was still in her new form. She glanced over at the girl then and simply walked over to her and knelt down next to her. `•.¸¸.•´´¯`••.¸¸.•´´¯`•´ `•.¸¸.•´´¯`••.¸¸.•´´¯`•´ `•.¸¸.•´´¯`••.¸¸.•´´¯`•´ "I will fight for what I believe in no matter the cost."

▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ After erupting into a blind rage, Atticus would massacre the rest of the puppets there, making his way towards the girl. Once he arrived, he would be greeted by the sight of Shira, kneeling down next her, "Get away from her!!!" he ordered as he ran up to the girl and picked up her lifeless body. Looking down at her, Atticus would be very distraught but could not express his feeling properly, so instead he decided to place her down and walk away, "There is no place in this world for people like us. We either die or we are forced to live a terrible life." he said as he looked back at Shira, with eyes full of despair, "This girl was stronger and braver than you could only hope to be. And yet she died and you live. Tell me where is the balance?" he asked as something seemed off about him, he seemed to revert back even farther into the past.▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬

Since the girl had not disappeared and left her soul there, she was still alive but barely. Shira used what abilities she had as a death god and implanted some of her own soul's energy into the girl's to give her enough strength to come back "It is not time for you to die yet." Placing her on the ground, Atticus would tell the girl to stay there and rest for a moment. Looking back up at Shira, he would just stare, "I'm not going to thank you for something as partially your fault." he said as he stood up and turned away from her, "Why are you even here? I thought you would have gotten yourself killed minutes ago." Atticus stated as he looked back at the girl.▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬

When he asked why she was there she looked at him with a faint smile "I grew up." She said simply before walking towards an area "I am not asking for forgiveness of any sort from you, after how all of that happened I wouldn't blame you for hating my guts for the rest of our lives basically." She said as she looked around the ground "Even so, that still won't stop me from doing things for your sake now." She told him before picking up the pendant "You have done a lot for me... and in return I haven't really been there for you... even though you need someone more than I do, a shoulder to cry on, a hand to reach for, anything like that... I haven't exactly acted like that partner and friend you needed." She said before walking over to him and giving him the pendant "Which is why, I will always think through how things will affect you and continue encouraging you to live on." ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ Atticus would take the pendant from Shira and look at it for awhile, putting it in his pocket, Atticus would turn away, "Do as you please." he said as he looked down at the girl and heard the sound of puppets coming closer to them, "Lets just end this here and now." he said as he took both of Shira's hands and transformed back into two swords, but this time their souls would seem to be resonating with each other, "Don't get me wrong, I am not the forgiving type, this is just the only way I can protect her." he said as he prepared himself.▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬
