Dart went into cover and said in his COMM, "All COG forces, get to cover or retreat, the fireworks are going to happen in 10 seconds." Dart then carried a wounded COG near a raven and he said to the medic, "Get all wounded and medics to a safe distance, this is going to be loud.x" Dart then grabbed his shotgun and saw a boomer on the ground, he shot it in the face and grabbed a locust and used it as cover, shielding him from the bullets. When he got to cover, he stuck a grenade on the grub and kicked it into a kantus, both exploded and died. "Three...two...one!" Dart yelled, then the blimp locust exploded and went into the largest tunnel, killing the locusts inside. "HOW DO YOU LIKE THAT!" Dart yelled at the loocust, then the rest of the COGs started firing at the rest of them.

-Brian yells out "YOU HEARD HIM GET COVER LETS LETS GO"he then fires at some locust and hides behind a rock through his COMM"BLACKWOLF THIS IS BRIAN CAN YOU HEAR ME?WERE ARE YOU?"then he fires at locust "Dart we have to find BlackWolf I havent seen him since we escaped."he then runs to a injured C.O.G solider and drags him to cover"I'll get you help solider!"he then runs out and fires at Locust-

"I haven't seen him either!" Dart yelled back as he stabbed a grub in the heart. He then saw the wounded COG and got on the ground next to him, "Brian, keep up the supporting fire." Dart ordered, then he picked the wounded up and took him to a medic's tent. Seeing they all were busy, Dart grabbed a medic kit and started patching up the COG, saying to him, "Don't give up, your not dead, we won't stop until we or they die, got it?" Dart then saw a grub sneaking up on Brian, Dart yelled, "GET DOWN!" Seeing Brian duck, Dart fired his shotgun at the locust's back, making a giant hole where it's heart used to be. Dart then helped brian up, saying, "You better be careful, if I didn't see that grub, you would've been dead."

Lissening to Captain Dart, Gears start retreating farther into COG lines, only stopping to help wounded soldiers. As a good number of men trapped on the locust side fall, a small group of Gears attempt to travel through the tunnels back over to save their comrades. As more Locust charge into COG lines, more medics arrive to help fallen Gears.

"COMM is down, we're out numbered and out gunned, and low on ammo." Dart said to another commander, sighing, he turned to Brian, and said, "Time for plan C, and this plan will get us out, or kill us all, either way, we win, tell all of the medics and soldiers to fall back, this isn't going to be good." Dart then walked to a tank, got in and started firing at the locusts. "FALL BACK, I'LL HOLD THEM OFF!" Dart yelled as he was firing at the locusts. He brang his last satchel out, planted it on his seat, and drove to the last tunnel. He quickly jumped off and saw then tank drive at the tunnel's entrance. "IT'S GONNA BLOW!" Dart warned over his COMM, and he ran to a safe distance, just far enough out of the blast radious. When the tank hit the ground, it exploded, detonating the ammo in it, making a earthquake that shook the ground for miles around it. Dart then went to the other Cogs and said, "Someone get me a medic before I pass out of blood loss." He smiled and then sat on the ground, laughing. "I told you we'd win." Dart said to Brian.

-Brian sees the tank blow up and take out many locust and make an earthquake "We have won this battle but this is just the start.The war is still going on."he says to Dart then he starts looking around for and locust who were still alive then he sees a couple and shoots and kills them all then he says to Dart "We have to look for any soldiers who are still out there"then he sees a C.O.G vehicle with a gun mounted on the top he gets in and starts it "Dart get on that gun.Were gonna look for any soldiers who are lost out there"-

"Big vehicle with big gun, me likey." Dart joked, then he got on the top and looked around. "Are you sure that Blackwolf wasn't one of the wounded tooken on a raven?" Dart asked Brian, then, immediatly, Dart saw something glowing and running at them, Dart shot it and looked at it, saying to Brian, "Stop the truck, I think I see a glowing grub." The truck stopped and they both got out, Dart saw the thing on the floor and said, "It can't be, a lambent here? But there's no imulsion for miles, unless, it's underground." Dart looked at his feet, and saw some imulsion on it. Wiping it off, Dart looked around and something made him stop. "Run." Dart said quietly, then Brian said, "What?" Dart then said agian, almost in a yell, "RUN!" Brian looked at what Dart was looking at, and saw a lambent Beserker, 10 meters away from them. Dart started running and got in the truck, getting to the turrent and fired at it, yelling, "COME ON, DON'T STAND THERE, DRIVE, DRIVE!" Dart saw Brian get in and started driving to the COG's camp. When they got there, all the COG's eyes were on them, then Dart asked, "Do we have a Hammer of Dawn?" A Commander then said, "No, why?" Dart then said, "Lambent Beserker, heading here, really fast, we had to run to our vehicle and drive at top speed just to escape."

-Brian back at the camp "What the hell was that thing!?"he asks dart then he looks around the area to see if was coming at the camp and he pulls out his sniper and puts it to its highest zoom and sees it heading for the camp"DART ITS COMING!"he then fires at it "s**t OUT OF REACH!"he then runs in to warn the others-

"It's a beserker, lambent kind. It takes two hammer strikes do kill one." Dart then got to the vehicle, got in, and said over his COMM, "This is Commander Dartagnen Agundez, requesting Hammer strike on a lambent beserker, how do you copy?" Dart then got a reply, "Dartagnen Agundez, the beserker is out of reach, please get it closer to your camp, tell all your troops evac is coming five mikes, out." Dart then started the engine and then looked a Brian, and gave him his COG tags, saying, "If I don't make it, I want you to tell my family what happened, and tell them that I loved them." Dart then said over his COMM, "Cancel that, I'm going to it and roadkill, out." Dart then drove off, making the beserker mad. "The train never stops, baby!" Dart said as he jumped off, only fifteen meters away from the beserker. The beserker then hit the truck and exploded. Dart then came out of the flames, holding his injured arm, yelling, "Medic's, need some more patching up over here!" He then fell down from the hit and blacked out. He woke up fifteen minutes later, and saw ravens flying to them, and he saw that he was in the medic's tent, seeing Brian, Dart smiled and grabbed his tag out of his hands, saying, "Thanks, I thought that I was going to...Never thought that I'd survive and have only a few injuries....And, let me ask you a favor, don't ever let me do that again." Dart then luaghed and then said, "Man, may be young, but that was enough fun for me."
