"Maybe. But why would they hide in the bushes?" A bit scared, Ginger looks in the bushes and sees a figure in the distance. She walks towards you. "There was a figure, but it seemed taller than an elf. Though it might just be due to the distance. ." Lenzie had a sudden bad feeling feeling her gut.

"It was only from a distance, so he could have been taller than a troll or elf or ogre, even. I'm not sure, he was so far away. . ." Somehow, when Tiki mentioned Sorran's name, her heart sunk. Why was this? Shaking the feeling away, she helped Tiki pick some more fruits and berries and headed back for the camp.

Ginger couldn't shake off this weird feeling growing in the pit of her stomach as she turned her head back down the corridor of trees where she spotted the creature. "Yeah. . .I guess you're right. . ." After a few more minutes of silent picking, she follows you.

"Huh? Oh, yes, i'm fine, really. I guess i'm just tired." She said as she plays with her food, but not eating it. The sight of that figure, its eerie shape, reminded her of the sight she saw when Tiki first joined the group, when they ran ahead, leaving Ginger behind. Thinking of when Tiki first came, she remembered the fire, it's demonic flames engulfing the wildlife of the last forest on earth. God, how those creatures must have screamed in the night as many died in pain, agony, and fear. And, to think, it was all Sorran's fault. He said he left the flames unattended near trees and dry grass, the most foolish thing she had ever heard. How could he be so careless? As anger built up inside Ginger, she squished a berry between her fingertips. How could he be so careless?!

Ginger, laying down beside Tiki, but not asleep, sat up quickly to the sound of Tiki groaning and moving about, as if struggling in pain. Unable to bear this sight, Ginger shook you awake. "Tiki? Tiki! Wake up, it's just a dream! Tiki, please, are you alright?" You jump up quickly, growling coming from deep in your throat, but catch yourself when you see the concerned look of your friend before you. You try to take a deep breath, but find it nearly impossible, due to your racing heart and thumping in your head. You try to stand, but fall to your knees. As you realize the weakness of your body, Ginger wraps you in the blanket and holds you. "Don't worry, Tiki. It was just a dream, i promise."

"Well, he said he was here because he was looking for his friend. You know that. Why else would he be here?" Lenzie raises her eyebrows in confusion, not following Tiki's questioning.

He was walking away from the campsite. By now, he was at least a few miles away from the camp. He was so angry but sad also. Lenzie and Sorran didn't trust him, and his best friend is probably dead. He stopped, taking in the scenery and where he was, "Holy s**t." He looked around at the trees and the grass, he was in such deep thought he didn't even realize where he was. The trees were dead, as if they were burned and the grass was a light brown and crunched beneath his feet. 'The fire that almost killed us about a week ago must have done this...' He continued walking, in shock. A burnt corpse hung on a branch above him, gently swinging. Sorran heard a growl and before he knew it, a black creature pounced on him and started attacking him.
