Monica put her fork down when Jay came to sit right across the table from her. "Jay, sitting right there, it's either you have a death wish or death wished you to be there" she said without changing much of her facial expression. Of course, if Jay managed to piss her off in an obvious way, she could always just look to the head of the table with mellowed eyes. Perhaps Jain or Damien would lend a hand. Well, not just them but a lot of the other officers would have softened up with just one look from the beautiful heiress.

Jay tilted his head up to look at monica, his normal malicious smirk replaced with an almost ruefull smile towards the femlae officer "hello monica how has your day been? pleasant i hope?" the black haired male returned to his food with renewed vigour as he stabbed at a carrot that had the unfortunate possision of being in his way at the time "its been an all around busy week hasn't it"

((I'm slightly confused... so the Prince is still in Diethelm, but he's at a secret Helmshire base or something like that in Diethelm? So he left and isn't with the rest of the group.

Man, I had so many cracks I could have made, and I missed them all. >.< Oh well. Yeah, Shadow's kinda grumpy and sarcastic, but she's mostly strait forward. She likes to get things done fast and well. Get her on a day off, and she's rather lively and enjoyable. She just takes her work seriously. ))

"Saiyu, control your hot head and go watch over him. We both know if something happens to his royal a**, we will get the blame." Shadow snapped. She then folded her arms and let out a sigh before turning to the leader of the resistance. "Chances are that he'll refuse to leave unless he gets his answers. Lets discuss a proper meeting place for when he cools down. I also hope that when the time comes, you would either get your answers strait, or at least think of better diversions."

Jain watched in silence, knowing better then to get involved with Monica. He knew she was pretty, but he also knew that she was no more then a harpy underneath a beautiful garb. Of course, he took a quick look between Damien and Monica to be sure nothing was going on. After all, Monica might blow up after Damien tossed her aside, just like everyone else he had been with romantically. As much as Damien's ego bothered Jain, Jain felt at least a little relieved to know his friend wouldn't fall victim to beautiful girls who wanted power. He would just use them and toss them aside like rags. Damien loved himself too much to invest any sort of emotional interest in anyone else when it came to that sort of thing.

Damien was ignoring the snide comments some of his subordinates were making at each other, notably Jay and Monica. He did notice Monica's outfit though. "Not wearing your uniform again, I see. Have I not ordered you to put in on during events like this?" he remarked to Monica.

Jian said nothing and took another bite of his food. He didn't want to get involved with Damien's arguments unless someone else, usually Damien, dragged him in.

Valkyrie returned moments later with a few samples of chemicals. "I was sure they said the door would be on lock down. What a pity it wasn't."
"You did check for cameras, right?" Vincent asked.
"Of course!" Valkyrie replied, pushing her hair back before setting the bottles of chemicals down on the table. "How is it coming?"
"Irritating. I got the latch working, but the spring keeps going at an angle." He muttered with narrowed eyes at his project. "But other then that, it's ready to go." He replied.
"Sweet!" She smiled cutely.

Zilaius held an irritated look when the two left as he looked at Shadow. "I know, I know! What an impatient brat... Bringing me out of my hiding place and making me do such unnecessary things! It's bad enough how we're faring with so many guards watching our every move!" Zil stomped his foot. "Dilly-dallying with him doesn't work. He just says 'I want it now!' like a spoiled little brat and goes around screaming about this and that. Granted, I appreciate that he's a good fighter but..." Zil sighed. "He's gonna get us all in trouble!"

"Which is precisely why I want him back as soon as possible. The last thing I need is someone who needs 24 hour surveillance and who will try to micromanage me. Royals really need to stay in their castles. The worst problem is that I know he's going to keep sneaking out and coming back here until he gets what he wants. That's why I wanted you to be quick, so we could keep him out of harms way." Shadow replied. "Next time, he might not get into Diethelm so easily, and I'm still trying to think of a safe way to get him back out."

Dustin was riding to the secret meeting place on a motorcycle. He was a wanted man in Diethelm and not just for being a rebel. He had to take extra precaution within the country. He knew his brothers had it in for him. He was disguised with false contacts and he also streaked his hair with red highlights and wore clothing that he usually didn't wear. He wanted to take all the precautions that he could. His bike was adorned with Diethelmiam symbols so as not to stand out. It disgusted Dustin that he had to ride a vehicle that praised the man he was fighting against. His own brother.
