Portal characters keep their rank coming over. If Journeyman is higher than what you had, you'll go by that.

Aria was raised by a couple of elders when she was young, mostly to stay away from poachers and crazy human beings who wanted to destroy things. The elders, sadly, died at the feet of the poachers that they had protected her from, leaving her all alone.
Many years went by before her first encounter with a small human boy, who could see her horn. He wasn't a threat, so she befriended him. He returned to the forest everyday until he asked her to take her home. Those round, blue eyes of his trapped her into saying yes. She returned home with him, and thank god no one called her out to be a unicorn, or she would have been screwed.
The little boy was able to tell his parents that Aria was a 'homeless' friend of his, and she, to stay out of trouble, kept to the story.
