"That was plenty of food," was Vivian's response. In all honesty, that one slice of pie was about more than she was used to having in an entire week.

Vero nodded and handed the waitress a fifty, figuring the bill was maybe fifteen or so dollars. "Keep the change!" She called back as she dragged Vivian out of the resturant and to one of her favorite boutique.

Disgruntled, Vivian followed along behind Vero. All she had wanted to do was go to the school and sneak some food out-- really! This was too weird, even on her standards. She knew she could just shift and slip away from the odd girl, but she just didn't feel like it yet.

Vero walked around the store and picked out different shirts, skirts, and pants for about an hour. She held them all up in turn to Vivian to check sizing and if they suited her. She could see the other girl was annoyed by this, and it made her even more entertained.

'I know she knows I'm getting angry," Vivian thought to herself, an hour after walking into the store, watching Vero hold up yet another shirt. "Vero.... Can we just leave this place...? I'm getting uncomfortable!"

Vero sighed and looked at the over flowing cart... She put some of the ones she didn't like back where they were standing and went up the counter and was thankful for the lack of others at the store as she paid. As they walked through the electonic doors she wondered about their sleeping arrangments...

Struggling to help carry bags, Vivian was in shock. She didn't think that anyone could own this many clothes! They were hard to come by, and yet here she was, with BAGS of them! Though, she was glad Vero let them leave, she wondered where they were heading silently as to not interrupt her thought.

Vero didn't live in a house as much as a one bedroom aparment with an unused kitchen. Her's was on the second floor so she led Vivian up the stairs and juggled the bags to get her key out of her pocket. She finally opened the door to reveal a small living room with a couch, a TV and a table with the chairs folded in the corner.

Vivian stood awkwardly outside the door, not sure if she should enter and shifted her weight all to one side. She looked around at the spacious area, not quite used to the idea of being in an indoor home.

Vero sat all the bags down next to one of the three doors and went out to drag Vivian in. She pointed at each door in turn. "Bathroom, kitchen, bedroom. You can have the bedroom. I usually sleep on the couch anyway in one animal form or another."

"An entire room to sleep in? That's... I don't need it! I'll take the floor, really. This is really just too much." Vivian was in shock, to say the least. The last thing she wanted to do was burden the other Shifter, and she felt that even by walking in, she was causing problems.

Sighing in temporary defeat, Vivian walked around the room. Looking in the kitchen, she saw a large, rectangular box standing on an end, with cords connected to the wall. Wondering what it is, she shrunk down to her fennec fox form and walked over to it.

Vero looked over and was amused by the adventure Vivian had found herself. She watched carefully as the girl aproached the fridge.

Batting at what looked like a handle, the box opened up, allowing Vivian to sniff at the contents. Much to her surprise, the box was colder than the room it was located in, and had shelves with food in it! Cautiously, Vivian leaped onto one of the shelves, knocking over a lidded bottle and rustling some green leaves of a vegetable.
