Daisuke wasn't sure what the hell was going on around him. He had just been wandering around when he had heard voices. At first he wondered where they had come from, when he noticed a few students scampering to the forest, curiously, he decided to follow on after to see what was going on. He was cautious about the approach, slowly wandering behind them but close enough so that when he rounded the last tree which revealed the group clearer, he saw a ghoul he hadn't met yet poof in the midst of smoke.
He just stared, both shocked and confused by what just happened. She just... Vanished! His eyes raced to the figure which had caused the attack and the other students which were making a move and assaulting whatever had made the poor ghoul disappear without a trace. He gulped, not being able to comprehend whatever was going on, or what he had just walked in on. Deciding to stay back, a yell close enough to him caused his head to whip around spotting two familiar figures. Seemed like... Bella was stuck and a little irritated, the other unique girl he had met in the library was trying to pry her out. He smiled a little at the scene, rather amused.
His eyebrows knitted together a little, before his attention was driven back to the figure, rock after rock being thrown at it. He decided to keep guard and slid half behind a tree and half peering around it watching what was going on. He would make a move once he had fully come to grips with the situation before just lunging headstrong in to the mess.
Besides, what happened to the vanishing ghoul could happen to any one of them, right?

One minute, she was looking around trying to find the faces to the oh so familiar scents of two of her best friends. The next? Well, LW wasn't exactly sure what had just happened. She knew she had managed to move a little further into the forest with some of the others while searching out Ren and Alessa. Then a shout through her mind ot hide and the she-wolf had not doubted that voice. She'd hidden by a tree and peered around only to...become utterly confused at what followed.
Her first thoughts were, Jackdamnit why did I go out tonight?! which were soon followed by simply, Oh Jack! Oh Jackdamnit! That...that ghoul had just...she...
And thus, the attacking began. Students jumping in to attack this new menace. Trying to figure out what had happened to the one ghoul.
The she-wolf grabbed the first thing on the ground her hand was able to clutch and she hurled it. At the same time the sound of her name being called drew her attention. She knew that voice! But where...? Unfortunately, Ren's shout distracted her enough that her aim was off. Then her wrist was snagged and...there they were! Ren and Alessa. LW had no problems moving back next to Alessa now while the gryphon took a defensive stance in front of them.
"I-I swear if things like this keep happening..." Her tail was swishing in an irritated manner...
Until she was grabbed again. Oh thank Jack no squeaks escaped this time. LW froze and looked up, relaxing immediately when she realized it was her boilfriend, Gabrian. The she-wolf gave him a small smile. "Since when do we ever know what is going on?" Her gaze flicked back towards the fight, eyes narrowing. Why? Why couldn't they achieve a nice, simple stroll through the grounds without SOMETHING happening?

ROUND 2
Total damage done: 6 3 5 1 6 4 3 2 1 1 4 1 3 2 1 6 1 = 48 Total HP remaining: 72
"Hmmm.. overall analysis." Despite the number of hits they took, the figure did not move back an inch. In fact, even the fabric of their cape did not seem damage or torn at all. Had they actually taken the hits or simply dodged everything at a speed the students could not see it was hard to say. "Defense is mediocre, speed is so-so, attack, incredibly weak. Ability to use your ah... 'Fear'? Zero."
Was the figure attacking them or lecturing them? Some of the quicker-minded students would have figured it out already. They were simply toying around: entire situation was just an amusing game. "Well now that introductions are out of the way, I believe, if this were a battle, it would be my turn."

They was no other way to explain the phenomenon. It was as if the ground shook beneath the students and simply sank two inches lower. The air hummed - not unlike the pendant some students might have encountered during a rather unfortunate visit, the trees rustled.
And all the students suddenly found themselves sprawled on the ground.
Just like before, the figure patiently stood there. They seemed to be enjoying this, waiting for something.
((Total damage done to all the students:
Take the damage you did last turn and multiply it by two. This is the damage your student takes. Ie: I did 2 damage last turn. 2x2 = 4. If you did zero damage or lower OR defended/healed you automatically do 6 damage to yourself, subtract your defense/heal from that.
Turn two attacks: Same as turn one, choose to attack, defend, or heal. Make sure to calculate your new HP amount! ))

Arachne arched a brow; she'd not been privy to any previous tests or whathave you from the Professors, but now she was wondering, mind ticking over.
'Do random attackers usually give critique?' she murmured, to no body in particular. And then she wobbled, arms going out to steady herself as the ground sank beneath everyone. She made a short pained noise as she was flung back, her head knocking on the ground enough to cause her to see stars.
'Owwww..jack.'

Despite her effort to defend herself Junko still found herself to be thrown back and to the ground, groaning and curling up like she was just going to sleep there. Owwwww! That hurt! Junko was really not a fighter. Really not a fight at all; being drowsy because of the belladonna didn't help. Ugh. She managed to get back up as they were being lectured, frowning deepy. Who the hell did did they think they were?! Attackers don't lecture! Right? They just...that was stupid. Unless they were some kind of professor.
Given past experiences it didn't seem terribly unlikely for this to be some kind of test.
Junko picked up a nearby rock and chucked it as hard as she could toward the figure.

Christof was scrambling after Amrita again, and had just caught up to her and Belladonna while wheezing for breath when suddenly... the ground jumped beneath him. The hunchback was sent hurtling to the underbrush, giving a sharp cry as a twig impaled the soft seam of his side. What... what was going on?? Who was that? They were just minding their own business (more or less) and now they were being attacked??
He kept a hand on his injured seam, praying his insides stayed that way as he slowly gathered himself to his feet again.
With a frustrated snarl, he hefted up a heavy branch to throw at their attacker but a sharp pain from his wounded seam made him flinch, the improvised weapon falling from his hands.

That was painful. Incredibly painful.
It was hard to pinpoint when the strangers had attacked, but all she knew was that when they did, she had fallen over backwards, unable to keep her balance. Something seemed strangely familiar about the attack, but Lizzy could not put her finger on it... As she groaned, feeling a sharp pain from the bruise on her arm, she heard a weak whimper coming from Jimmy who had stopped wiggling in her arms, settling for nuzzling against the Demoness' chest instead.
"J-Jimmy!" She stammered, nuzzling the Minipet as she laid it down on the ground beside her, stroking its fur to calm it down before she climbed back up. Spotting Arachne sprawled out nearby, she felt a burning sensation in her chest. She was fuming - how dare these people just show up and start hurting her friends? No, how dare they toy with them?
Die.
It was a mental cry, but the attack was real; gripping the thread tightly, she sped forward and lashed out at the hooded stranger again, using more force this time.

Sepheran didn't have much time to react as his body gave way sending him down to the ground. What in Jack's name?! Sepheran groan having hit the ground a little hard. Liannan seemed alright however as she hissed the detail sof what was happening in his ear.
Sepheran had to wonder though...didn't it seem like this thing was...toying with them? The thought made Sepheran cringe...perhaps this was sent out by the teachers as a distraction? If that was the case...Sepheran wasn't going to be so easily held back. If the figure wanted a fight he was going to bring one.
Getting up Sepheran readied himself for another attack...only this time the mysterious figure just managed to dodge him.

Arachne got slowly to her feet, rubbing her head where it had hit the ground. There was a tender lump appearing and her head ached. 'Son of a pit monster.' she swore, and glared at their opponent. How she wished she could see who exactly was hidden behind the hood - her Fear relied on some knowledge of her attacker and so she resorted to picking up a jagged rock and flinging that. She was still wobbly though and her aim was bad.

It was remarkably unsatisfying to feel her claws and tentacles sink into something, and yet be fully aware that nothing was being damaged. He did not so much as flinch, and she pulled away, growling impatiently at his critiquing dialogue. What was the point of a fight if you couldn't win? Riley started to back away, tensed for a counter-attack. What she got, however, was nothing she could have prepared for.
The world disappeared from under her feet, and she lost all balance as she tumbled back down to the ground. Her head hit the ground with a sickening thud, as it impacted with an unfortunately jagged rock embedded in the dirt. It sunk into the skin of her tentacles, at the exact point of impact where she'd been previously injured a few days before.
The world swam and swirled as the pain took her breath away. There was the briefest of moments where she was close to losing consciousness, but some stubborn part of her was just too angry to let it happen. She was running off of pure adrenaline, and would certainly pay for it later.
She pushed herself up, and the world tilted 80 degrees to the left. Her hand lifted and pressed against her head, wincing at the feel of the new wound - when she pulled it back, her fingers were stained with red.
You son of a sludgetick. She growled out, eyes slitting instantly. That was JUST starting to HEAL! Despite all common sense telling her that the fight was pointless, reminding her of her previous injury had been the last straw. She forced herself to her feet and came at the attacker again. This time, she would not seem so menacing - but her bubbling, psychotic anger more than made up for it.

She wasn't quite sure how the scenery changed, but it did. She went from looking at a stranger to looking at the sky; it was quite the difference. More than that, but she was starting to ache. It wasn't a terribly distracting ache, but an ache nonetheless. In true Zombie fashion she got back to her feet with little fuss, dusting herself off only to discover a new cut on her upper arm. Huh...interesting. That was probably where the ache was coming from! While she was dusting herself off, she finally took a slow note of something she hadn't seen before now.
"H-hey, uhm...Isn't that Arel's scarf...?" Amrita said with a bit of surprise, pointing towards the bag that was behind the figure; more importantly the suspiciously familiar piece of clothing that was poking out of it. She wasn't entirely sure if she was seeing things or not, but what she did know for sure, is that they were still being attacked, so she should probably keep trying to attack back.
Looking around, she picked up another rock, chucking it at their attacker.

One second, Astra was floating in the sky. The next, her body had been brought to the ground. Hard. Her small body wasn't meant to be thrown around like that, so the impact proved to be quite painful. A few crucial seconds ticked by as she laid there in a daze, before she was able to hoist herself to her knees. It seemed the figure was telling them how much they sucked. Not only that, but it seemed everyone else had been hit pretty bad, including Riley and Christof. She couldn't do anything for them, but hope to distract or fight off this invincible looking guy.
Fuming to herself, she picked up her oak staff and managed to become airborne again, thankful that her delicate wings had not been damaged in the fall, and flew at the figure once again. Her aim this time was much more accurate as she swung at one of his arms

West couldn't have said what happened next. He had been upright, looking around the area for something else to throw, and then all of a sudden he was sprawled on the ground, his music-stand-chomped hand bent at an awkward angle beneath him. It wasn't nearly enough to keep him from fighting, however. The wrath demon sprang to his feet as quickly as the shaking ground would allow and ran forward, lunging at the strange figure.
His uninjured hand, the one that didn't have a bulky glove on it, found some resistance, but it didn't seem as though their assailant was actually taking damage. Was this mysterious person... making fun of them? That pansy b*****d!
"Die already!" West bellowed, watching as his classmates' ineffectual attacks only served to spawn more insults.

Ow! That Jacking HURT. Whoever they were, they meant some serious business and while Carthusia did a damn fine job with that stone, she was certainly paying for it now. Instead of launching another attack, she thought about what happened to Colette - she'd just disappeared. Carry thought it was a better idea at the time to hide behind a tree and rest for now. She could always spring a surprise attack later, right? While she rested, she looked around for something else to throw, intent on keeping her distance for now.
