Green, it was every where. There was hills of it, mounds. She had never seen so much color before! Trees suddenly started appearing over the grassy hills, and yellow flowers covered the remaining space the trees left behind. The air was sweet, the sky was blue, the wind was warm. Everything was so...happy. Almost overwhelmingly so. The scenery made her want to dance around in this new enviorment that she some how knew was called Summer. Summer was calling her name, to forget every worry and to be free. To fall into its warmth and sun. She couldn't stand the temptation. She jumped into the long grass with glee, spinning and spinning with no end. Yellow and pink petils filled the air like snowflakes. She giggled. The sound of wind chimes, composed by the breeze, joined her giggles in song. For that moment she was truly, oddly happy. Then something felt strange. She stopped, as well as everyhting around her. The strange feeling grew into a stronger feel of displacement. She felt like she suddenly didn't belong here. A icy wind swept over the little paradise, and surrounded her in a vortex. Every little bit of green was blown away in the wind that she felt responsible for. Everything around her was instantly turned to ice.

Nika woke on the wooden floor of the Winter tavern. Her head was pounding, possibly because she had hit her head on the way down. She looked around to get her barring and noticed that she must have fallen asleep on that toppled chair beside her. Nika sighed, standing on her legs to realize that six other men where staring at her. Nika froze and blushed, though she knew no one could see any sort of warmth on her face.

She was an Inkling, an Ice Inkling at that. Ice crystals grew on her skin, the thickest patches of crystals were on her lower arms, legs, and in the corners of her eyes. Her skin was ice white, her hair was sliver. In other words she stood out, even when she didn't do stupid things like fall on the floor or trip over a table. No matter how much she tryed to blend in with the 'normal people' everyone could tell that she was different. Nika looked away from the many accusing eyes of the men and assassins and fixed the char upright. Fixing the chair was a chore due to the fact that her hands where shaking horribly because of the embarrassment and the dream. The dream wasn't new, she had been having it alot lately. Though the reason was still untouched, and that is scared her every time, Nika tryed not to take any notice of it. Only crazy people of think about strange dreams of odd places.

When the chair was finally put back on its feet, Nika resumed her idling around the corner of the bar. She tryed to remember the reason why she was here. Nothing came to mind. Nika new this bar and its purposes, but she wasn't an assassin. Well, not for hire anyway. Nika assumed it was because of the bump on her head that the event of her coming here was so fuzzy. A waiter approached her and offered refreshments. Where were you when I fell out of the chair? Nika thought. "Uh no thanks. I don't drink." She said politely, and the lady left. She saw the eyes of the other assassins and heard them snickering. Nika sat down in the fur chair in shame. They must think that she was a looser. Bad meat. She put her head in her hands to hide.

The door to the bar opened, and a teenage boy stepped in. Nika felt his presents and looked up. His aura swirled around him in a bluish gray mist. Nika decided to entertain herself by reading his aura. His name was Alister, he was here on business, he was an assassin by the way he sat in the chair, and he was of pure blood. She also figured he was really really old, which didn't really surprise her. Then she saw that no-help-useless-jerk-waitress look at him all googly eyed from behind the counter. Nika stuck her crystal tong out in disgust. She really didn't like that waitress. Nika went back to reading other auras in boredom until she decided to leave. She walked by that Alister character and was about to open the door when she felt something powerfully odd coming towards her. Nika quickly stepped back and the door opened, almost hitting her in the nose. A monster with horns and yellow eyes walked right in. Nika felt her gut drop until she realized that it was just a woman wearing a skull on her head. Nika stared at her from behind the open door as she walked in. She guessed that the woman's name was... Cha'risa and that she was... maybe a vampire. It was hard to tell since her aura was so thick and full of dangerous messages. Nika figured that if she wanted to stay alive she would have to be far away from that person. She slipped out the door and slammed her back agenced the wall of the bar. Of course it was snowing outside, but Nika loved the snow, so it didn't bother her that much. Except that it liked to stick onto her a little to tightly. She was about to walk away when she realized she didn't have any where to go. Nika couldn't remember anything before she woke up! Frustrated Nika sat down in the snow and waited for something to jog her memory. As she waited, snow clung to the black fur on her boots, hoodie, and vest making it turn white. She was bored again, the sound of the mingled talk in the bar was joined in with that Alister fellow talking to the strange woman, who hardly responded to anything. She could only hear bits of their conversation, so far all she could tell was that he was getting to know her.

Then the door opened, making Nika jump alittle. Alister and Cha'risa walked out of the bar and down the snow and ice covered street. Nika was on the roof of the bar, standing on its gutter. She wanted to get a better look at Alister. Something told her to follow him, like he would help her regain her memory. She didn't know how he would be able to help her remember things but she had nothing better to do. She followed them from rooftop to rooftop, creating the wind to mask her aura so that she was sure that they wouldn't know that she was following them. When she ran out of rooftops, she dug under the snow instead. Snow was easy to burrow through, and her pointed ears could hear their footsteps above easily. Then they stopped, so she went up. When she surfaced she saw a run down shack infront of her. She smelt a new aura, one that was coted in sickness and sadness. She couldn't get any info. from that even if she wanted too! She crawled closer to the house and put her ear to the wall. They where here for the job of killing a Crusnik, a vampire eater. Once again Nika stuck out her tong. Vampires drank blood, she couldn't imagine how they tasted. When Alister and Cha'risa were about to leave she went back under the deep snow still wanting to keep her presents hidden. After following them for a sort time she felt two others collide above with Alister and Cha. Well about to collide anyway, the tention was heated up there. Nika poped her head above the snow, letting her ears, and her eyes observe what was going on. It looked like they where about to fight a man with blonde hair and a smallish girl. Nika could understand why they would attack the man, he had a since of danger about him, but why the girl? She didn't really seemed involved though. Nika turned her multi-blue, slited eyes at the girl, and was suddenly very interested in who she was. Curiosity was such a hard thing to fight.

Dadrik shifted his eyes from Cha'risa to Alister. What was this Davion doing with this woman, this vampire. By they're they're reactions to each other so far signaled that they didn't seem very compatible. Or maybe it was just him.
Cha'risa seemed every heartless. But that was most likely because of what was in her blood. Dadrik was still trying to figure out what the hidden part of her was. If his brother was here...he'd mentally smack him for not realizing it sooner...but that was not his problem right now, worrying about what she was had to be dealt with later. Knowing she was a Dhapmir was good enough for him, it had to be. "I talk to much? Maybe I just find this whole situation to be a bit....unnecessary. Ha, the man you are taking the job from more than deserved what was put upon him. His real pla...." Dadrik paused as his head shifted a bit. He sensed someone else. Someone was watching them, hiding they're aura....with wind. Bad bad thing for her to use while he was around, something that gave her away even more so then her taste or smell. His brother was a wind elemental, quite frankly, one of the best. Dadrik knew how to look beyond wind tricks that helped with stealth, but... His eyes shifted back to Cha'risa. " Well, as you said, I talk to much it would seem. Yet I believe you talk to little..So straight to the point. But my darling...Even with your little friends help over there..and his hell's key, your not going to be able to apprehend me." he said with a bit of a sly smirk. His eyes flashed over to Alister just in time to see him gain a look of surprise on his face. A look he gave because of the fact Dadrik just named his weapon, a weapon which wasn't even revealed yet. He then looked back over at Cha'risa. "If you really want to do this....then lets go else where." He said looking over to the clerk hiding behind the table. " I'm not going to risk people getting in the way." he said turning his head around out the door way, looking directly where the girl following them was. "And I suggest for you little lady, to stop hiding......If you really wanted to stay hidden you shouldn't of poked your ears out..." He said with a small short winded laugh. He then turned and walked out the door of the building. " Lilith, Let's go." He told his sister with a bit of a smirk. Just as he was outside the door way, he looked down at the woman in the snow. "Wow..." He said simply then turned back to Cha'risa. Lilith's body flickered and she was gone. "Catch me...If you can." Dadrik slightly mocked as he took a few steps, then his body to flickered and he was gone.

He wasn't really going to try to out run the group, infact, he was waiting. Purposely leaving a trail for them to follow. He and his sister ended up outside of the town in a snowy opening Next to the forest outline. It wouldn't be long before they got to him..infact...He head a guess, that Alister was going to be the first one here. Out of all of them, He was the quickest one. On thing about the Davion race, speed was one of they're strongest abilities. Dadrik found a stump, and sat on it, waiting. Lilith, stood on the sidelines. This was not her fight. She thought it was kind stupid but hey, she had a feeling this Cha'risa girl wouldn't stop.

Alister

Alister smirked and chuckled as Cha'risa mocked him, saying he talked to much. That was something that he thought she would say to him. As far as he knew, she didn't like him....well...didn't like anyone for that matter. But she was interesting to him. She had something about her he wanted to find out. There was a certain...Darkness to her. Something dangerous but he didn't know what it was. He was just curious and unafraid of it. Plus a good brawl wouldn't hurt, and he figured if she was around...then that would surely happen....well he thought that. And he was right. But the fight that was about to happen...He had his second guesses to actually taking arms against this guy. If he was infact the Phantom blaze....a Da'vion bloodline. Then he didn't see himself having any chance against this man. His doubts though were quickly thrown out the door when Dadrik said the name of his blade. The hell's key. How would he even know he used it let alone know the name of it. He hadn't even pulled it from the underworld yet. Not infront of him. There was more to this guy then they knew..then he knew.

Soon Dadrik told them they had to go else where, by now he was in a slightly crouched manner, ready for the fight. He was getting angrier by this mans attitude but mostly because of how he knew his swords name. This fellow was to cocky, even for his own taste. And Alister, was a cocky b*****d. "You, bas..." He paused as Dadrik seemed to speak to someone else, then he noticed, the ears in the snow. "What the hell?" He said lightly. 'How did I not notice that.' Alister thought to himself, but then before he could turn his attention back to Dadrik, he turned, started to walk then vanished. But unlike before, His aura lingered, in a bit of an obvious manner. Last time he vanished completely, leaving no trace. Why would he....b*****d is taunting them...taunting him. "Catch me if you can? What a ******** p***k." He said as he turned to Cha'risa. " ******** this, he's mine...You can have the bounty." He said with determination in his eyes and slight anger. Alister took off toward the door, running past the girl in the snow. " You coming." He said in a slightly irritated tone, but it wasn't aimed toward her, but to the situation in general. Then, his body to flickered and he was gone.

It took him a bit to find him, but he was there first, in the open field with Dadrik, him sitting on a stump. " You smug b*****d." He muttered.

She didn't notice right away that the blonde man was talking to her until it was far too late. He had noticed that she was there spying on him. Her gut contracted and she sank lower into the snow in embarrassment. Of course he had noticed her! He was a super natural monster, and she was a beginner Inkling in magic. She felt so stupid and childish.

Then he came up really close to her snow pile, and she would have thought nice things about his looks and charm, but he ruined her inner complements. Wow... he had said, like he was surprised at how pathetic and abnormal she was! Well, hiding away in the snow was something he could consider weird, but the nerve! She was even more ashamed of herself and she sank down even lower in self pity. He left. She glared at his aura that was left behind. It was so big and arrogant, like he was, that it left a small line above them in the air. She guessed it lead to where he vanished off too.

Nika looked across the street to Alister and the skull head. Her eyes widened when he asked her if she was going to continue her stalking. It took her a moment of thinking to deiced weather or not to take up on his offer when he started running away. Nika quickly pulled herself out of the snow and ran after him. In the back of her mind, she felt like it was what she was suppose to do. She didn't get too close, she was far away enough that she could turn and run if he attacked her. Though, he probly wouldn't do that she had to take precaution around the stranger. She wanted to ask him so many questions, but she didn't know if any of them would make any since. Or if she would be able to form words infront of him.

The man with the strange aura was waiting for them in the middle of an open area. He was so sure of himself. Nika wonderd who exactically this man was and why his aura was so erratic. Unlike other auras that Nika has seen, his was so thick she couldnt read it clearly, not even his name. Also that mans aura was in constant, contracted movment like it was being pulled back vilently to his body as if it was drifting away. Not only that but it was more than one color, which was very uncommon. It wasnt normal, he wasnt normal... well actually Nika herself wasnt normal either, what ever normal really is... but, anyway, he just didnt seem right. Nika stayed at a distance away from Alister, the man, and Cha'risa. What ever was going on she wasnt about to die for it.

Cha'Risa continued to bore her soulless eyes into Dadrik. These eyes lacked so much as a pupil, clouded in the color of a sickeningly diseased yellow. Though it couldn't be seen due to the covering of the ivory skull atop her own.. They oozed a deathly, coagulated blood when they shifted, when she looked down.. In fact, all the blonde would see was the unholy glow these organs emitted from her eyesockets. The woman was far from alive, even if a small portion of her blood had tried to remain human. Dried blood caked over the elk's skull, drying and frosting over in the cold winter's chill. It was this blood that was riving the Wendigo-child into a slowly escalating rage. She was hungry, painfully so. This man, she was getting paid to harm.. Violence sated her almost as much as flesh did. Her cold dead body was waking from it's drone-like slumber, and she wanted nothing more than to wring his neck where he stood, to feed on his heart. But she'd merely hold back for the sake of her Lord and Father's wishes, to gain that money. ..She'd settle for a bite of his arm.

Dadrik spoke, unsurprising to Cha'Risa. She'd continue to contemplate her next move, she'd continue to feel the warmth that hunger and ravaging hatred spread to her limbs. Her lips twitched, but not in the manner to open to speak.. An abnormally deep, thick blood trickled down her chin beside her lips, and she would do absolutely nothing visibly. She'd watch his head shift slightly in another direction, his neck visible. Her body begged to launch itself to him, and she refrained. The spirits shirked in her head that he was looking for a reason, that this reason was a person. . She didn't care in this moment. He addressed the enemy, and it didn't seem important to the Wendigo-kin even then.

He looked back at her. He spoke, finally, on something she gave a slight attention toward. 'do this', he'd say.. Her lips, cracked and frost-bitten, curled into a malevolent grin. The type that spoke nothing but blood-curdling ill-will; the type that sent shivers down spines. Her teeth came into view.. Ragged little things. Her canines, both upper and lower.. Were sizable. The rest of her teeth seemed sharp as well, never quite forming a perfect line of edges.. She was predatory beyond a vampire's needs, just by this alone.

He turned to the door, and his back taunted every bladed fingernail she possessed; every fiber of her being screamed to reach for the ancient bone-carved scythe that reinforced her back. She seemed, again, the polar opposite of Alister. Her gloved hand reached as Dadrik vanished, to wipe the dead blood from her cheek. Her grinning maw tore open, and her tongue, again, lapped blood from her thick leather glove. Yes, she would have a meal today.

As he vanished much like Dadrik, he addressed the girl. For a moment, the Wendigo's macabre smile faded, her fangs jutting from her frost-torn lips still.. as if they'd grown bigger with her bloodlust. She'd run past Nika after she decided to follow. The man left a scent, an aura in which the spirits and her alike could track. Her body was lithek, packed with athletic muscle, determination fed her movements, as her tair whipped into the skies, flowing loosely like rag dolls against the wind.

She'd eventually meet her destination. Her combat boots sunk into the snow, each and every step sent her closer to her meal. In this snow, she was at home. Her hair was the flawless same color, her skin-- what was exposed of her chin-- was close as well. Her lips were apart slightly, yet no cold steam emitted her, as if she didn't breathe.. at all. Blood dribbled and dried in two small streams against her chin, as if from her eyes. Yet a smudge tore across her cheek.. where she'd wiped at it. Seemed that she STILL bled after doing it.

Behind her came Nika. The Wendigo was somewhere within amile.. Dancing on the edge of her awareness, he wouldn't be able to be sensed by the others around.. she herself could hardly feel him. Yet she knew, he was interest. The Wendigo's gurgle was in her mind, his eyes filtered in the back of her awareness.. she couldn't fail byaelbog.

The monstrous woman stood behind her now. Nika didn't like her, the woman felt almost dead, which most vampires did. Nika couldn't tell exatically what, but Cha'risa was as scary as scary could get. Though maybe she wasn't a monster? Nika shook away the thought, a normal vampire wouldn't bleed anything or ware such clothing. The vampires tend to categorize themselves above all else, the jerks. If they could see their own reflection they would be staring at a mirror until their eyes turned inside out. Nika hated vampires because of that, also because they are scary monsters. Like Cha'risa. Alot like her infact. But Nika couldnt remember if she had ever met another vampire before. Then why did she know anything about them at all? Is being so stuck up the real reason she hated them? Nika didnt know. Figures. She could hardly remember anything let alone happenings like meeting a vampire.

Her attention was drawn back to Alister, who was giving the blonde man a death glare. For some reason this made Nika excited. She wanted to see that man crumble before Alister, even with his strange sword and black fire. Of course it would have to be Alister who would take him down. Nika wouldn't stand a chance, being a beginner at her magic, also because she couldn't remember any fighting moves or whatever. And Cha would probly eat him after finishing him off. They would want to bring the body to that employer right?

Dadrik cocked an eye when Alister showed up shortly after him. "Smug? Not so much." He said shrugging. WHen he was about to say something, the others showed up. It wasn't hard to track him, he left enough of himself and aura behind for anyone to follow. SO they got there about the time he figured. Alister was first by far, but he thought he'd toy with him a bit. "Wow, honestly, considering your a davion, i thought you'd be here sooner." He said with a small one breathed laugh. His eyes ventured over to the woman in the skull hat and the new girl. "What an odd combination of people. A Dhapmir, A Davion and a Elf..." Dadrik paused for a moment, cocking his eyes at Nika. "No! Your something else... But what was it again? " Dadrik looked down, placing one of his fingers on his chin and thinking. He couldn't remember what it was called. Damn it, why couldn't his brother be here. Well, he knew why. Maarick was off in the green sea protecting Beatrix and the others. After what he had just done for his love, Beatrix, it had drained him of most his energy. He was here to do one thing, and that was to recover it..by feeding.

Dadrik shrugged and looked away from Nika. "Well whatever, not that it matters." His eyes came back upon Alister and he just smirked a little. His irritation was Clear to Dadrik. Yet back in the day, when he first ran into him he seemed so calm, so collected. He talked less... "So, lets she what you got. You obviously want to bring harm to me. I can see it in your eyes...your body language. So...come on." He said pushing himself off the stump and landing on the snow with the crunching sound of the snow. Putting one foot forward he bent his knees a little then, then slowly closed his hands into fists,

Nika opend her mouth to correct him for thinking that she was an elf, but then she closed it, realizing that she actually wasn't sure what she was. What is an Inkling anyway? Nika pondered. Why cant I remember anything?! Nika crossed her arms and tryed to remember something. And.... she got nothing. Inkling Inkling Inkling Inkling... What is that? What am I ? Who am I? Is my name even right? Where did I come from? Nika slumped down into a cross-legged position in one motion. What is wrong with me?! Nika was over troubling herself, but she needed to think this through, and no longer did she care if the blonde man and Alister where about to go into combat. She wanted answers. Nika pointed to her head with one finger as she thought to herself, as if that would help. Nika tryed to pull out a important memory of some sort that could tell her everything. But all she did was make herself look like an idiot. Again.

Alister

Alister glared as Dadrik spoke, continuing to mock him. He expected him to be here sooner. What a pompous a**. This man was disrespectful and rude. And Alister couldn't let this go. No, It may not look like it now, but he was once a general in an army and never had he let such disrespect go without punishment. And he wouldn't let it go now. Alister gritted his teeth as Dadrik continued his mocks as he pushed himself off the stump. Taunting him to attack, saying lets she what Alister's got. Alister crouched a little before as he clenched his hands, the sound of his gloves stretching was heard as he prepared himself. "So what if you knew the name of my blade even before I called it.. but your a davion..well sort of..so of course you'll know the legend behind it. If that was attempt to get inside my head, it's not going to work." He said with a 'hmph' at the end. "You want to see what I've got.....then lets." Alister said as he prepared himself by slightly leaning forward. He was still very quite mad at this man, his cocky behavior, his attitude. Alister was cocky yes, but again, this man was overboard. HE had to pay for his disrespect to all of them. Alister was going for it...and he wouldn't...couldn't lose to this man. No, he was going to teach him a lesson..this man would learn his lesson, and it was going to be now.

Dadrik didn't have his weapon at this point, so now was his chance. Alister pushed off and his body flickered. No sooner his body appeared again infront of Dadrik, his arm cocked back as if he was ready to hit Dadrik, aiming for his face. The moment his body appeared though, a line of snow from where he was to where he was now shot up about 6 feet and fell like a snow fountain. This was do to his speed. One thing about the snow or water, it was easier to see the way they moved due to the reaction of the snow or water. Alister thrusted his fist toward Dadrik's face, but it was easily blocked. Dadrik brought up his arm and pushed up Alister's wrist, blocking Alisters punch. Alister gritted his teeth a little because Dadrik still had a smug smirk on his face. "Damn it!" He said as he shifted his right foot, then slid it infront of him, then pushed it outward, kicking back Dadrik's left leg. Then in the same movement he kick outward swiping Dadrik's right leg out from under his body. This caused Dadrik to fall to his side. But before Dadrik could even hit the ground, Alister didn't waste any time. The moment he swiped Dadrik's leg out he lifted his leg up, never touching the ground with it, then brought his heal to Dadrik's head, kicking him a third time. The last kick made it where Dadrik's body was vertical to the ground. Dadrik's body hit the ground with a thump and crunch of the snow. Alister decided not to give him any time. He stepped forward and cocked back his arm going for another punch. Just as it was about to hit Dadrik, as it seemed like Alister was better at hand to hand combat than Dadrik, he rolled to his stomach, shifted his body a little and rolled onto his back. He then popped his back hopping a little then landing on his hand, twisting his body, swiftly and gracefully landing on his feet. It looked like gravity had little effect on this man.

Dadrik looked at Alister as he stood up. 'Oh not bad...for a child.. Although.. I thought I'd be getting more of a fight here....' Dadrik looked over to Cha'risa. 'I bet the half blood over there would be more of a challenge than you... Her....creepy...ness...would throw me off more to.' He said with a small laugh. Then he bent his neck to the side, cracking it, while grabbing the bent part of his neck with his hand. Dadrik then lifted his hand up and motioned Alister to come at him. "Arrogant a**!" Alister said. This man just got his a** kicked and he's just acting like nothing happened. Calling him a child... How dare he. Alister dashed at Dadrik and started kicking and hitting at him. This is where it got a bit more..even. This time Dadrik continued to block and counter Alister. Alister lifted up his leg and kicked at him three times but was blocked each time. He thrusted his fist at him but it was quickly blocked. Alister then decided to try something different. He spun his body and tried to backfist Dadrik but he was quicker than Alister. Dadrik grabbed his wrist and shook his head. 'Honeslty..your not that good at hand to hand. Your easy to read... ' Dadrik mocked as he quickly hit Alister in his ribs with the side of his palm then pulled him a bit closer and only to lift up the hand he hit Alister in the ribs with, and lifted it upward hitting him in the face. With the same hand he pushed up Alister's arm, letting go of his wrist pushing his arm out of the way, opening him up. Dadrik then unleashed multiple hits to Alisters stomach, and when Alister went to try to hit back, Dadrik hit his arm, right between his muscles, Making it go limp a second. Dadrik then bent his knees, clenched his fists, pulled his arms back and was in a power stance. He then thrusted his fist at Alister, and twisted at teh same time, hitting him straight in the chest. Alister couldn't block it, he took the full force and because of that he was sent back several feet. He tried to stop but only slid until he lost his balance and fell backward, Alister quickly though, rolled back and onto his feet using one hand to stabilize himself. b*****d...did he let Alister have the upper hand at first...no...he just got lucky. Or so Alister told himself.

Slowly ALister stood up, putting a hand to his chest. "b*****d..fine...lets see how well you are with your sword." Alister said as he lifted his hand up infront of him. A searing sound came from his flesh as a red hot chain started to burn into reality around his arm. He then jerked his hand to his side and the chain extended outward and straight into the ground, like it was one with it. Alister pulled on the chain then whipped it. Suddenly all around him more of the red hot chain came from the ground like a serpent from hell. The chain started to cool until it was black.

Nika stared at Alister in envy, putting her troubles aside for now. His chain was coverd in flames of which she could tell was created by none other than himself. He seemed very very powerful for a... what ever he was called. Nika had missed most of the hand to hand fight, she was much to ocupied with her pointless worrying, but to what she was seeing it looked like Alister had a chance agenced that man. Nika got to her feet again and wached in wonder at what would happen next.

~ The battle between the two fire welders was now at a stand still. One looked at the other in the same death deifying glance that screamed what they were after. One wanted to destroy the other. Alister had some personal reason to kill the blonde man, and the blonde man was just a blood thirsty killer. None of which seemed possible to stop. Nika was not sure who had the upper hand here. Alister seemed very intimidating with his fiery chain and hand to hand combat skills. But the blonde man was ever more frightening. He was mysterious and unpredictable, which made him dangerous also. He said something about a weapon that he had not shown yet, a weapon that could make all the difference in this fight. A weapon...

Candles flickered in the dark, drafty study. The window was open, it let in the moons white light and the evening breeze. A tall figure stood infront of a large book, it was the size of a table and was scripted in small wrighting. The figure scanned the pages with its finger, causing a sliding sound crossed the paper. Then the finger abruptly stopped. With a closer look at the word, it spelled B-L-A-C-K-F-L-A-M-E. The figure seemed to have found what it was looking for. "Dadrick." The figure had mumbled gleefully. The pages of the book turned themselves over another thousand or so pages before it had stopped on a hand drawn picture of a black blade. The figure laughed and slammed the book closed.

Nika blinked. What was that all about? What is Dadrick or the Black Flame? And who was that person? Nikas head had started to hurt. She didnt understand anything that the vision or what ever it was had shown her. It was like a fight between her mind and her will. Neither seemed to be winning.

I am not a pattern to be followed
The pill that I'm on is a tough one to swallow
I'm not a criminal, not a role model
Not a born leader, I'm a tough act to follow
I am not the fortune and the fame or the sane person telling you to forfeit the game
I came in the ring like a dog on a chain and then found out the underbelly sicker than it seems
And it seems ugly but it can get worse

After Dadrik had laid out a underhanded punch directly to Alister's sternum and Alister flew back, he soon said some more words. After speaking he summoned forth his blade, his Hell's key. "Heh, really. You don't know how bad it is of an Idea to use that weapon against me." Dadrik told Alister. Alister may have been the master of the sword, right now, but he was not the creator, he did not smith the weapon, he merely stumbled on it. " Your just lucky you have the thing...lucky you came across it, otherwise you'd just be a normal Davion...that's about it." He said shaking his head. Alister glared at him. "What do you know? Sure your a crusnik, and said to be the Phantom blaze...lets see if that's true...now Stop with the mind games and lets get this over with. " Alister shouted back at Dadrik. Alister whipped back his arm, throwing the chain up in the air moving like a snake, then lashed it forward toward Dadrik, the chain broke though the ground as it made it's way toward Dadrik. Just as it seemed like it was going to hit Dadrik, he moved to the side and dodged it, or so it would seem. He gracefully spun and looked back at Alister. A scratch across his cheek slid open and he just smirked. " Your quick kid, but you lack what it takes...I'm done with you....lets end this as you say. Maybe the half blood will be more of a challenge." Dadrik said to Alister and he wiped his cheek of his blood, but then the cut started to close until it was gone. Alister gritted his teeth and charged Dadrik pulling the entire chain from the ground and holding onto the blade himself, thrusting at him, but once again Dadrik dodged. He had moved his body just so that Alister would miss, grabbed his blade, and arm then threw Alister over his shoulder, keeping his blade in his hand, Alister's hand let go of the Sword, but the chain stayed connected. Dadrik grabbed hold of the chain and yanked it pulling Alister back. Alister at this point was a ragdoll. He came flying back to Dadrik and before he could do anything Dadrik grabbed Alisters face and slammed him into the ground, letting go and standign up, spinning Alister's sword in his hand then thrusting down at him. At first it seemed like he was going to kill Alister, but the tip of the blade dug into the ground next to Alisters head. "Piece of Advice kid, it be wise not to use such a sword against it's creator." He said kneeling down. "Now sleep." Dadrik said putting his hand back down on his face. Dadrik did something, it was unseeable but he did something because Alister fell alseep. Slowly he stood back up and looked over to the odd girl that Followed them. He hand no quarrel with any of them but he wasn't going to let them just attack them. Dadrik looked back over to Cha'risa, his smirk gone, his smile gone..it was just now a serious look. Dadrik was done playing around, done leading them on. " I still say you walk away from this bounty. There's much you don't know about this situation and to blindly follow that piece of paper is unwise. " Dadrik spoke to the half vampire, then held his hand to his side. His black flame engulfed his hand then shot downward until it started to form into something, his black sword. " I Give you this one chance to leave now, forget the bounty." He said bringing the sword down to his side. " Of course...judging by the bloodlust I sense coming off of you, Dhapmir, I doubt that you'll listen to me...not to mention you have the sent of my blood now..." He said referring to when Alister had cut him. " Fighting me for my blood would be unwise for your kind." He said cocking an eye brow. He waited now for her move.

Nika

Nika put her hands over her mouth in a bit of a shock. It had all happened so fast. One second Alister was up and fighting, the next he was on the ground with the blonde man standing over him. Nika was almost sertian that Alister was dead, but the pulsing aura around him told her that he was merely knocked out. And now the man was challenging the vampire. Nika wasn't sure what to do! Should she just stand there? Do something? Fight the man instead? No, that would be very stupid. She couldn't even remember how to hold a sword let alone use one. But what a bout Alister? Should she go and help him? Maybe I should just walk away... that seemed the simplest thing to do. But...

The sun shined through a crack in the stone celing. The small stone room was covered with papers, books, and diagrams. So much that it was hard to tell that the room was infact made of stone and not just paper. There was also alot of candles, most already melting into the floor. A marble desk was the only risen thing in the room that was not of parchment. On that desk was a assortment of items. Ink, quills, pencils, blank paper, paper with tons of miniscule hand wrighting on them, and hand drawn pictures. The pictures were of swords, hands that light up in flame, of people (mostly men) with stunningly colored eyes. Four were ontop of the others. A man with dark glasses, long black hair that was tied neatly at the bottom of his head, a presentable thin lined go-tee, striking blue eyes, and a clean shirt with poped collar. Another man with light blonde hair, startling blue eyes, a black tattoo scaling next to his left eye, a smug mouth, and was wearing a tight necklace with a blood beed at the end. A boy with strawberry blonde hair, startling blue eyes like the first, a big mischievous grin on his face, and rags for chlothing. Under the pictures they were all labled Demons.

Nika shook her head. She didn't understand what that was. What was a demon? And had she ever been to a stone room before? As a matter of fact, as Nika stared at the blonde man infront of her, she realized that the drawing on the desk in her vision looked alot like him. Very close. Was he a demon? But they keep saying that he is a Crusnik. Was a Crusnik a kind of demon? Nothing was making any since! Nika grined her teeth. He thought he was so great! Cha'risa looked ready to rip him apart. Nika didnt want that man around any more. He cant just hurt someone like that and get away with it! "I thought you said that you where done playing around! So unless you want to get your a** kicked then be on your way!" She said to him, not knowing what had gotten into her.

Dadrik waited for Cha'risa to make her move, he was certain she would, that she would attack at any moment. So he readied himself, slightly. He wasn't to worried...although, he had a sinking feeling something wasn't exactly right about this woman. And to Dadrik, that was odd. Then another voice shouted out, one which was not Cha'risa's nor Alisters. "So the girl speaks. For a second I thought you were going to sit there awestruck the whole time." A small smirk played on his face. " What you don't understand girl...is the determination this woman over there has. Look at her posture, at her aura.... everything about her. Even if I do leave, she'll search for me..she won't be satisfied until she's taken me down or died trying. But don't worry doll, I'm not fighting to kill anyone here....the only ones who play that part are these two. " He said with a small laugh to the last part of what she said. "My a** kicked eh? That be interesting to see." Dadrik said to the inkling. " I'm sorry, but I just don't see myself going anywhere...maybe if you don't want to see this you should go. Its a bit dangerous and I don't think a young lady as yourself should get yourself mixed up in something of this nature.." Dadrik said shaking his head.
