Astra Green

Hi, my name is Astra and I've been a Pagan for some idk 7 years or so? It seems like a long time at any rate.

Anyways as far as my practice goes, it's more like a slow study. Not sure of which deities to worship and which religion to go for (so long as it's not appropriating any closed culture at least).

I've got a Tarot deck and a bunnnnchhhh of pagan books. Half of which I haven't read through.

I've studied Wicca and British Traditional Wicca at least academically. As far as non-Pagan stuff. I'm a gamer, nerd, and semi-artist.

Hello and welcome!

Hello! You can call me koi for short. I have been interested in Wicca since I saw a cheesy movie called "the craft" and I wanted to see what it really was about. I went onto the internet and researched for a while. I found that I loved the idea of it but I was thirteen at the time and school and other things got in the way. I kept it in the back of my mind.
Later on I realized that I didn't believe in Christianity and found that I was Pagan. Buddhist Ideas I had and I loved working on my spirituality. That was senior year though and once again
I got busy. Now that I am out of school and taking a year off before becoming a massage therapist (so I can heal people, I love that) I want to go into Wicca in earnest.
I hope to get to know a lot of you and share experiences while on this journey! I'm super friendly and I can promise you I am always up for a good conversation..or even a silly one razz

The name is Sarah, although you may call me Lutra if you wish; I am a twenty four year old security company instructor who hails from the prairies of Canada land. Originally I am from British Columbia, where most of my family lives but moved out to Alberta for work opportunities and schooling.

I have been a practicing Pagan for nine, almost ten years, now. I think like most people I originally fell into the lap of Wicca or, what I thought to be traditional Wicca and red all I could from Scott Cunningham. But, I do not wish to be initiated into such a strict religious belief, though there is nothing wrong with Wicca, so I quickly branched off from its teachings.

I am an eclectic Pagan, solitary in nature. But, I do teach a few younger women in my area. I am no Priestess but am comfortable guiding basic studies and rather enjoy it. I draw my beliefs from a wide range of practices; Green Witchcraft, Pictish Wicca, Buddhism and so on. I am a ritualistic pagan and have a flare for ritual and creating dramatic sacred space C:

Hello everyone!
My name is Tabby and I am twenty-five. Being raised as a Christian Baptist I knew at a very young age (around 5-6) that it just wasn't for me. My grandparents and even a few family members would drag me along with them to church but eventually they stopped pulling me with them. I have studied wicca since I was fourteen so about eleven years? I first found out about wicca through a friend of mine who was raised as such. She taught me quite a few things, her mother was a wiccan priestess though I don't recall the coven she was part of. At the time I didn't consider myself wiccan; I only continued to study the ways of the craft. I did this for about three years then I actually got into it. I joined a local coven in my state called Serpent Stone Family Grove and was accepted. For the next few years I studied with them and continued my search into wicca. I moved to a quiet little town which I now currently reside in and although I am a solitary witch I still study quite a bit. Not sure what else to put here but that's my story. sweatdrop

Hi everyone! My name is Jess or my spiritual name Atheraamethyst Auraina, but that's kind of complicated for some people, so I also go by Amethyst Rain or just Amethyst for short smile

I was raised in a very strict christian family, but I've always felt different, and when I started studying Paganism/Wicca, I felt right at home, like it's where I've needed to be my whole life. heart I'm from Arizona, although at heart I'm a sea Witch and I would love to live on/near the beach. I am an Eclectic Wiccan Witch. I currently do divination; tarot reading, oracle reading, crystal ball readings, runes, etc, kitchen witchcraft, and lots of other types. I am most connected with the element water. I have been studying and practicing for about a year now, however I have been interested and drawn to witchcraft ever since I was little, but now that I am older, I was given the opportunity to practice and study freely, and it is the best decision I have ever made. I am still currently studying as there is so much to learn, you never really stop learning new things. (:

I'm currently engaged and living with my wonderful fiance Josh. heart I'm a huge animal lover. I have 4 cats, a dog, and a snake. 3nodding
My hobbies include singing, dancing (5 years of dance class), reading, spending time with my friends and my fiance, playing on the computer, etc.

heart Hello fellow Gaians and guildies! heart

I am Victoria and I am very pleased to meet you all here. I am a seasoned traveler and Christian who has been to around 30 countries so far between Europe, Asia the Middle East and the Americas with a desire to see many more. It is my passion to learn about life, culture and the human experience. And it occurred to me how little I actually know about Wicca and those who practice. Actually, it's come up at church several times and between friends. And almost every time the air of judgement has risen. And me being the creature I am, I inquire. What do they do wrong? A "They worship false gods!" Which gods? "I don't know... false ones..." Hmmm... What else to they do? "Satanic rituals?" Really? Can you describe them? "No... not really?" Then why do you judge them? "Because they're not Christian." Oh... I get it... better go get it from the horses mouth, right? And here I am! Really, it's so much better this way.

I'm not condemning personally, and you simply won't see me do it. If asked my opinions and views, I will naturally share them and will respect the views, experiences and input of others. I'm actually quite fond of it.

I look forward to getting to know some of you and learning about your experiences. Until later then! heart

Hiya Jess! 3nodding

Already you have shown me something I was hoping to find here. And that being a testament on behalf of a positive experience in Paganism/Wicca. In my church gatherings there is this idea that people who practice Wicca are defying truth and living lives separate from joy and harmony. But it sounds to me like you have all those things and more! I was suspicious of their over simplified assumptions in the first place. I'm certainly very glad you have found beauty and happiness in this path of yours. Also very curious about tarot. I had purchased some tarot and related reading material once for intellectual study but my grandfather had them in the fireplace the next morning... so much for that lol.

Hello and welcome! I am glad to see you pop in here. smile There is much to know about Wicca and Paganism in general, and there is no "one true path" to know Deity. Many Wiccans follow the Wiccan Rede; "An ye harm none, do what ye will." That's the closest to one true law that can really be stated. It's always fun to discuss such things with others of differing faiths. smile

I'm Marx.I'm 23 almost 24 years old. I live in the US. I'm trans (FTM) and I'm bisexual. I've been into Paganism since I was 16 and never looked back. I was raised Mormon and I often laugh about it.
