Sillia swore loudly, Here she is with only two others fighting all these bad guys out numbered then one is stabbed. Her first reaction is to go try to help heal Cross though more bad guys keep blocking her way. "Ginji!" Sillia yells to the other "We have to get him out of here. We are out numbered. To stay here would just get us all killed."

Cross,bleeding out,took off the rest of his remaining armor for ease of movement and crawled to a corner near some debris away from the battle. I'm not...gonna make it...What kind of chosen one am I?

Sillia keeps killing off the enemy while trying to find a way to exit. Ah! There it is! She notices then looks for Cross unable to find him. Where did he go! She thinks as she continues to attack. Sillia gets hit yet continues to search. Curses this hurts. maybe it is about time I leave. after all I have helped the way I planned. No more reason for me to stay in a losing battle. With that last thought Sillia escapes leaving Cross and ginji on there own.

Ginji shouted out a few curses. "Where the hell are all these guys coming from suddenly? Damn it, it doesn't matter. We need to hurry the hell up!" he shouted out a few more dark words, calling down a wave of lighting bolts, striking more of the enemy warriors.
"Cross, where the hell are you! You're not supposed to die yet!"

Cross yelled with whatever strength he had left. "I'm over here!" He muttered something as he saw Sillia running away. His anger toned down as he tried to use mind communication. Please come back...I don't want to die...At least not here...

God damn it...what kind of hero dies in the middle of a battle!
Ginji fought his way over to Cross. "Hey! How the hell are you supposed to get better than me, if you die here? Huh buddy?"
He fought a group of surrounding soldiers and lifted cross up on to his back. "Ok...here we go...Let's get to the center of this place and wipe them all out!"

Cross was hefted on Ginji's back lifelessly. He looked up to see a larger spectre apparating a spear made of dark energy behind them. "Watch out!" Cross distributed his weight to the right,making Ginji dodge the projectile which then destroyed the remains of a wall in front of them. His energy was coming back slowly. But how?

As Sillia was about to exit she heard Ginji Cry out for Cross, she cursed herself in her head for not thinking of that. Turning she saw her friends as the enemy was attacking. Quickly she chanted some words to hit it though not killing it instantly like the others. What is with these things?! She thought.

Ginji swore, louder this time, as he started crashing. "At this rate, we risk breaking that damn orb..." He looked over at it, and then at Cross. "Hey, Cross...Take this damn thing and see if you can use it to attack!"

Cross tapped into the orb by focusing with his remaining strength. A torrent of light came from the trees in the distance,slowly closing in on what is left of the fortress. As it grew near,it engulfed every spectre and skeleton,obliterating them. When it got to Sillia,Ginji and Cross,they disappeared in a flash,reappearing in the town square. Cross shrugged off of Ginji and limped to a crate. He sat on it and put his head down. "Now for the consequences of absorbing it..."

"I got us out of there. Thats what happened." Cross stood up and paced back and forth slowly. "I hate to break it to you both,but..." He paused and sighed. "You guys aren't gonna see me again." Cross looked at his gaping wound. Inside,the poison was at work.
