Mythical Moo Envy is a guy, you will see when he changed into his real form, he may have long blond hair but he has big muscular muscles 3nodding I was wondering about that. Why is it that all the guys in this anime are muscular? Weird... eek

He's a guy. Just put it at that. He is 'it'ish...but he IS IN FACT a guy! I don't care what form he's in!

In the anime, the last episode specifies he is a guy... or at least his original form is a guy's.
In the manga, Envy is genderless. This has been said many times throughout the series xp

He's a Homunculus.
They don't have genders, do they?
(Although, if it's just in general, he's a dude with a bad clothing and hair style with a tough woman voice.)

I didnt know envy was a guy...i just assumed it was sexless ..nice to know.Although i think Glutony is my least favorite..i love sin!

Unmei_no_LaLuna Envy IS MALE. Please don't make me get the spoiler proof out...... I REALLY don't want to ruin it for anyone else.... The Reason WHY Envy is male is because he is Dante and Hoenhiem's First born Son. YES He's Ed's Half Brother THERE I SPOILED IT ARE YOU HAPPY!
i think he was created when Hoenhiem was younger
in the anime it showed his true form in some episode
i dont think he is eds half brother...highlite for spoiler...

Envy is a guy. If you think about it, his voice has to be kinda girlish so it change along with his body changing while he shapeshifts. Just a thought

Hes a guy, there are many times that Lust or Gluttony refer to him as a him.

alright well like people said in episode 51 we find out Envy is a guy, but just about five minutes ago my sister said Envy was a girl. I told her she was wrong but then she got out the anime profiles book. here's what it said:
Envy is persistent in her attacks on Ed in lab five and in the underground city. She resents Hohenheim for abandoning her, and the emotions she feels towards his son Ed are part of their deep connection.

WHAT THE HECK?!? They either got it wrong because he's a cross dreeser or maybe he had a change...
