He stretched a little before Tala attempted to touch him. Unfortunatley he had no control over this part of his power and Tala got jolted a bit. Well it felt more like she was kicked in chest. "Sorry! I can't touch anyone without having lost all of the power in my body. Shoulda warned you first." This was the same kind of thing he'd gotten kicked out of the Brotherhood for... He hoped his newfound alliance could look past this first slip up.

"OOOOO, that was a bit....shocking. Wonder what would happen if I kissed you?" Tala grinned, not letting on that it had stung a bit.

Kurai was grinning, then glanced at Kit with a questioning look. "I'll runthese two back home, case there's anything else you wanna do. I'll turn on my cell too."

Kelvan heard Tala sigh,"Its not because you're not attractive, cause you all really are, but you felt what it was like to touch me for a second. Last time I kissed a girl I nearly killed her...." A memory flashed into his mind.
The girl had been a mutant that could disable other mutants powers. She was amazing in Kelvan's eyes. Long brown hair, tall enough that he wouldn't have to bend to see her, and the most gorgeous green eyes he'd ever seen. He felt safe considering that she'd be able to stop his powers so he had begun to kiss the girl. However as the two had gotten more excited the girls ability to stop Kelvan's power fluctuated long enough for Kelvan to regain his powers. The first shock made the girl jump back but as his arms were around her she'd jump from the little camp fire to the blaze. After a few moments the girl passed out and collapsed barely breathing. Kelvan called the paramedics but couldn't do anything without taking her life from her. The girl had been rushed away and survived the ordeal, but she was never the same. During the mistake Kelvan's powers had taken a toll on the girls body. She'd lost all control of her legs and left arm. She couldn't speak right either. But the worst part for Kelvan was the endless torment he recieved after. The girl took away his powers as often as possible. He was attacked by angry teammates during his periods of power loss, and as punishment Mystique had locked him in a metalic room leaving him to almost die from the drain on him from his power loss until Magneto had said no more. Just another reason he had for hating them.
For the girls though throughout his little flashback moment they would easily be able to see pain in his eyes, to be replaced by a look of anger and distaste. The lights above began pulsating brighter.

She nodded. Yeah, there are a few things I wanna do. He sleeps in the shed in the backyard." She said before disappearing into the night as sirens started coming closer to the building that was now half-way filled with the fire she had conveniently forgot to put out on the roof. She was sure her three teammates were already on their way home.
Taking as many backroads as she could, considering she didn't have her holo-watch and she couldn't very well call for a taxi, she finally found her way to three mile island. Ears laid back she got into the little wooden boat that could probably only fit half another person, and paddled slowly to the island.
Sam didn't take the glass nor the whiskey, she was still underage for drinking. Leaning back in her chair slightly she observed Kuma's behaviour and his facial expressions. There was something that was really troubling him about this. She wouldn't pry tonight. She was about to speak when a younger student burst in the room. "Samantha!! You need to turn on the news...now!" Sam blinked as Mortimer picked up Kumas television's remote.
He turned on the news and frowned. The woman on the scene was in front of a very familiar brick apartment building that was now engulfed in flames. "Now, we're getting word from the fire department that they pulled out six or seven bodies from the burning building, one on the roof that had been cut cleanly in half so we suspect this fire to be a cover-up of sorts...." His fist clenched in his lap as he watched the program with Sam and Kuma. "That's the building Mystique and her part of our group was in..." He said, informing the other two.
((We'll just say Tala, Kurai, and Sparky got out of there well before the tv cameras got there ^_^ EDIT: OMG YOU CHANGED YOUR NAME?!?! ))

akira was fliping trough channels and hit the news channel just as the fire story came. she reconised the building cause they had teamed up with Mystique's team recently. 'gee why are they doing these things? they seemed so nice whie they were here.....' akira though feeling bad for the people that got killed
travon was up in his room playing with the ds kit had 'bought' for him a while back. he could hear the tv but it was low enough for him not to hear it. all he caught breaking news, fire, and cover up.
brett was searching cabniets for a glass, he was thirsty but not in the mood for plain water. some one had forgot to stick the sprite in the fridge so now he need ice so it was cold. so fare he knew were everything else was but he finnaly found them in the last cabniet and he fixed up the soda. he was passing by kuma's room as they turned the news on so he listened in. 'gee they got people hunting them mabye they should come here at least there be more people here to help....those may been bad guys but still' he thougt after toad mentioned it was one of the brotherhood bases

Kuma didn't look up at the T.V. He sat there looking into his mug as he listened to the woman had to say and signed heavly. Takeing another mightly drink from his mug he opend up the bag of cheetos and took a large hand full, trying to destract himself with food and drink. He didn't care if they were underage. Hell... the younger student could have poured himself a glass and he wouldn't even bat an eyelash. At this point he was bring brought back into dark places in memmory that he never wanted to go again. He was silent for a little bit, soon turning to Toad. His eyes seemed both dead and alive, contrasting eachother in an errie way.
"Where is that building. How far away is it from here?"
He asked, wanting to know the exact location of the place.

Sam glanced at the door where she heard the floor creak outside of it. A raised eyebrow was all she did as she turned back and listened to Kuma ask Mortimer where the building was. She was slightly curious too, this would give them an idea on where Kit and the other two were.
Mortimer took a shot of his whiskey, which was followed by the face that everyone made when they took a shot of the strong alchoholic beverage, and put his glass down. Pondering for a moment he finally said, "It's in Brooklyn, on Flatbush Ave. It's probably about an hours drive from here." He poured himself another shot as his cell phone went off. He took the shot before pulling the retched thing from his pocket and looked at the number. Making a face he pressed the ignore button then turned off the phone and slipped it into his pocket. "Sorry bout that. Was my boss. Don't really feel like listening to him b***h at me about this like he bitches about everything. Well, who's he gonna go to now for the big stuff now that his precious Mystique is dead." It came out more bitterly then he had originally intended it to.

Kuma downed the rest of his drink and then got up from the bed. Reaching for his belt buckle, bracers, necklace, X-Pants, and weapons as he prepared himself. He intended on heading there, even if it was under his own power, as soon as he could. He was a tracker and hunter of monsters back home. However he never thought he would be trying to use his skills that were developed for beasts and undead on someone he considered a friend. Then again... he had to do this once before... and it didn't end well then either. He was silent as he moved, preparing for the long trip as he rummaged through his stuff for the holowatch that he had been given. He rarely used it, as a matter of fact, this was the first time he pulled it out since Anime Boston.

"Kuma don't go. Kit and the others are probably long gone by now. The only way to find that girl is if she wants to be found. I'm sure she's taught Tala and Kurai all her tricks so they're probably right up there on her level too. Please don't go Kuma." Sam said as she stood up.
"Yeah, dun bother with it mate, ya won't find her. Magneto's been lookin' for her since Boston and if he aint found her yet you won't find her tonight." He downed one more drink before standing up also. "He's got Sabertooth on his side and aside from you he's one of the best trackers I've ever met and Kit's even been able to shake him from her trail. Just rest tonight."

As Kuma got things togeather, he spoke, not looking to both of them as he did it.
“You forget... I am not Magneto and I am not human. I was raised to track down and hunt monsters. Ontop of that I made it a point to remember peoples scents. If it's there, even faintly, I can find it. Plus I know tricks to enhance the scent I am looking for. Back home they called my kind Rangers. We hunt down our pray and eliminate them.”
He then stopped and looked to them both, with eyes like no matter what they say he was going to go and at least try.
“I hunt monsters. It's my job. I am damn good at my job.”
He says as he continues to get his things ready, tuning his back as he drops his pants to put on the X-Shorts that he got from the professor.

Kit walked through the rubble of the old lab Stryker had. She was seriously surprised the military hadn't cleaned the place out yet. Her eyes went up to the office as she climbed the stairs leading to it. Stepping inside she went to the desk and tried one of the drawers, locked. Making a face she rummaged through her jacket pockets in hopes to find something she could pick the lock with. After a few minutes she pulled out a bobby pin. "...Better then nothin' I guess." She mumbled and set to work picking the lock on the drawer.
Samantha sighed and went to the door and opened it quickly. Brett tumbled onto the floor and she raised an eyebrow. "Do as you wish then. Kit can't be trusted anymore, my suggestion is not to go after her but I can't exactly stop you now can I?" She walked over Brett and down the hall and stairs until she got to the student rooms on the floor below. She went into her room and closed the door and locked it behind her. She had a lot to think about and wanted to for once, be alone.
Mortimer felt slightly uncomfortable in the room now. "Well...I gotta go see if my house is still intact. Just try to calm down mate. I mean hell, whatcha gonna do with her when ya find her? I doubt she'd sit and listen to any of us since she and the two chickies she's with just up and ditched us." Toad shrugged.

brett was a bit suprised an knocked over some how he maged to sage most of the sprite he had. he did his beet to scoot out of the way. he wanted to ask what was up with sam but he felt like it be too nosy to ask.
