"From the wars." Eric said not with it as he said it, remembering the battles he had been in. His body covered with scars but he had asked them with magic among other things. "I guess you don't have all my memories yet. I guess that it's probably for the best"

"Wars? Like the Death Eater wars?" after he was done brushing his hair, he started to plait it. "Or am I missing out on something?" After a moment of silence he sighed, "And stop being so secretive with me. Makes me want to keep my secrets to myself," he laughed nervously.

Eric grabbed two plates and began serving everything out while he stayed silent trying to block out the memories of the battlefield so Rai would not see them

Rai started getting tiny flashes of war, but pushed the thoughts aside completely. He began to think of things he hadn't thought about in years, and felt his stomach grow cold. "Uh...Is it almost done..." he said, to take his mind off of things.

Eric came over with a tray and set it over Rai's lap on the tray was a bowl with a sweet corn, chicken and noodle soup. A plate with a piece of chicken wrapped in bacon with garlic butter and herbs melted on top with mash potato placed around it. A small plate with banana honey bread and a glass of orange juice and a cup of tea.
