Sunstrike shot out of the warrior's den. "What's going on?" He asked. "I can see a tree on fire over there!" He flicked his tail in the direction of the tree that had been hit by lightning.

Moonheart ran to the clan with Mudpaw and Ravenwhisker, and saw Creamkit in the clearing. But, he saw another kit as well. Who's that he wondered. Then he heard Sunstike's yowl and saw the tree that caught on fire. Could this day get any worse? he hissed to himself.

Mudpaw's ears pricked and her head whipped around at Sunstrike's warning. At first her heart skipped a beat, but then she sent a silent thanks to Starclan. That tree will burn, but the fire won't spread because of the rain that came down earlier! Mudpaw thought, relieved. The rain had almost stopped now, it was little more then a mist.

Sandkit nodded slowly and was pushed into a dry space. He was so tired and confused that her curled up next to sandkit, his new best friend, and a smaller kit and a sweet smelling queen curlled around him as he fell asleep quickly.

Sunstrike calmed down, even now the fire was going down. "The rain's putting it out!" He mewed.

Moonheart finally could relax. But as soon as he laid down, his legs burned as if they were on fire. He let out a painful screech.

"ok." Goldenpaw searched Sandkit (btw, what gender? i'll go for she-cat for now, but don't hesitate to correct me) for wounds. She had kittencough from the rain, and heer tail was a little scorched, but she was ultimately ok. Goldnepaw fed her som coltsfoot for kittencough, but she didn't know what to do about the burns. "Ravenwhisker, what herb do you use for burns?"

(( Here is a re-cap in as few words as I can explain it...
Mayflower's ex. mate is Snowfur, three or four moons ago gave birth to Tigerkit, Creamkit and Sandkit. Snowfur was banished from Sandclan but he stole Sandkit and the clan has not seen Sandkit since. Everyone believed Sandkit to be dead, including Snowfur. Truth is, Sandkit found his way to Mudclan where a queen called Iceflower found him...ironically, when she was burying her only kit. Iceflower instantly adopted Sandkit as her own, calling him a gift from Starclan. On the night of the storm, Creamkit ran away from Sandclan at the same time Sandkit ran away from Mudclan. They met at the hollow oak just inside Sandclan territory, but it was hit by lightning and they both fled. Snowfur found them and brought them to Sandclan, which is where our story is now.
To answer your question- Sandkit is from mudclan, Creamkit is from here, Sandclan. ))
