Exclusive Festival warm up show @ Astoria We will be playing an exclusive festival warm up show at Lonson Astoria on 22nd August. You can buy tickets from here: Astoria Show Tickets limited to 2 per person. You must be 14 or over to get in. Anyone between 14 and 17 must be accompanied by an adult. Proof of ID is required!

More T (ea vicar) in the park stuff.... Here is Barry's review of our show at T in the Park. I dont think he like us. Saying that though, i dont think he even knew who we were, seeing as we didnt even play one of our apparent 'highlights'. He is unsure of who actually like us, but he himself likes safe indie bands and seemingly, baby blue cardigans, so he must be reaaaally cool. In the Studio... hi we are in the studio at the mo in LA with producer John Feldmann - the album will probably be out early next year we played a couple of songs on the arena shows - so you guys might have heard some stuff - some will make it on some won't we're loving it out here - it's working well Feldmann is a cool guy - he did The Used album, Story of the Year and a load of other cool bands and he has a wicked pool! we're coming back to the UK for T in the Park and then back to LA to finish the album...back for Reading/Leeds see you soon

DAY OF MY BIRTH
so, just wanted to share this with you. My name is Ian. This year, i turned a year older while closing the Fuji Rock festival in Japan. Playing to thousands at the base of Mt Fuji with my best friends. Last band of the whole festival. We went on stage at around 11.40pm on the 29th, and 20 minutes later it became the 30th, and i became a year older while doing what i love most, in the most unique and amazing setting possible, surrounded, like i have said, by my best friends and our fans.
Dont think anything is gonna beat that for a while.
The only bummer was that Jamie wasnt there, cause the conditions of his bail meant he had to surrender his passport and he couldnt leave America.
Anyway, just wanted to share that with you guys. We are back in LA now and we start back on the new album tomorrow. Its a dark one alright.

Sweet Little Update (Video)

Hello Party People:
So today is a day off and we have a sweet little update for you...yes we do work on the weekend:
1) K! Awards...For everyone who doesn't know these are the awards for KERRANG! magazine. Thanks to you guys...actually just those who voted...we won BEST BRITISH BAND for the second year in a row. Met Scott Ian...SWEET. You can check out a video blog of the night over at BUZZNET.com.
2) Pick up this weeks issue of KERRANG! We are on the cover and there a long article on what we have been up to and what we're going to be up to. Next week there will be poster so that we can grace your walls.
3) Pick up the latest issue of DRUMMER Magazine. There a 5 page spread on our drummer...That guys name is...um...oh yeah...Ilan Rubin. Its about him being good or something like that...I dunno, I didn't read it. But the pictures are cool.
4) Leeds was amazing. Reading Festival is tomorrow. Pictures to come on RECCENTER.com later this week. Prepare yourself

just a few litte bits. Firstly thanks to everyone who came to the astoria last night. I had a laugh, was a cool gig. Sorry if i didnt get to meet anybody after the show. I got hustled into a car and then reversed away. I felt like a t**t. soz.
Kerrang awards later, then off to leeds. Sweeet.
Also for those who were listening. Dan Carter played a rough studio demo of the new track Weapon, on the rock show monday night. Just to clear things up, this was just us experimenting and having fun in pre production, it wont be on the album, and wont be re recorded. That was as far as the song is gonna go. Just thought it would be cool to let people hear our ideas.
Anyway. See you on the weekend!!
