patch99329 It has come to my attention that I cannot buy underwear cheap. It does not last. You pay for the quality .xD Really? I've had the reverse happen. It's always the Victoria's Secret that falls apart fast, and the crap I bought from Target has been with me since middle school. Edit: Now that I think about it, it's underwear that is more stringy that doesn't last long. The VS more substantive thongs I have are still in great condition. The stringy ones are totally falling apart.

Being home for the weekend means I can actually watch Stargate Universe on TV.
On the other hand, I'm still not well enough to go out to any Halloween parties. I consider Halloween to be my favourite and most important non-religious holiday and I get to miss it because of a stuffy nose and a slight cough. stare gonk

Say "I am healthy!" in the mirror! Afrin is great for stuffy noses (but don't get addicted)! I am honestly not a fan of Halloween and would rather spend it with my coven, but I am obligated to help out with the haunted house the honors program is putting on, which benefits a charity organization. Bahhh. I get to run around and be scary.

I am actually considering going to the local Samhain ritual tomorrow. Why? Because the organizer of that local pagan group realized that they don't represent a broader pagan community and wants to do more specific path rituals.
Let's hope this one doesn't kick me in the butt like the last one. But this is a much larger group, bigger turn out, and more active.

I was poking through some upcoming university-affiliated events and I came upon the sustainable energy group's concert fundraiser.
Now, considering the current title of this thread, is Circadian Rhythm really that good? Because they're one of the headliner bands and they seem a bit mellow for me. And I know within the next week, I'm going to get a million invites to the concert. rofl

I managed to leave my key card in my apartment this morning, thankfully they were nice and let me back in without making me pay $10! It really shows that I need to stop this whole not sleeping thing I've been doing. Between stress, papers/tests and loud roommates, I haven't been getting more than 4 hours a night.
In happier news, I got a new computer yesterday!!!! It's so wonderful to be able to transport my laptop without the screen spazzing out, not have a constant 1 inch streak down the middle of the screen that I can't see through, and have a working disk drive and amazing battery life!

I am apparently a "sarcastic c**t". Said by an exceedingly sarcastic individual.
I'm not sure whether to be offended or proud. XD

So I stepped into the Supernatural subforum for shits and giggles. Omg. confused It's all about vampires.
Also, here's to hoping my aunt does something for Dia de los Muertos. That means I'll get molé.

Thanks to this post on FWD/Forward, I started thinking about how I (don't) sleep, and just out of curiosity, wiki'd sleep deprivation. ...yikes. The Almighty Wiki A chronic sleep-restricted state can cause fatigue, daytime sleepiness, clumsiness and weight gain. And under the big list of physiological effects, it lists dizziness, headaches, and symptoms similar to ADHD. Which means this is something I need to bring up with my primary care doctor, my therapist, AND my psychiatrist, and get them all working together, because I have the terrible feeling that a lot of what's wrong with me is because I've been living in a sleep-restricted state almost constantly since childhood.

Couplets are well and great, but I can't escape this stupid fate.
UGH. The most popular thread in ED Main and possibly soon to be in ED Politics is where everyone is talking in couplets at each other. It's annoying and amusing, because now I am starting to think only in couplets! rofl
The Fluffy Rehab Guild is cool, those who don't join are certainly fools! sweatdrop
