*Orias flew back slightly again, the ball of light following him. He stuck his hand out as quickly as he could and put up a barrier for the half second that the shell came in range, rendering it ineffective* >_o Damn...that one was close. *The demon had an idea go through his head like a bullet. He quickly drew his blade again and slashed the ball of light, infusing it with the icy blade* Now it's on... *Orias flew as fast as he could toward Heritage, began to swing his blade. At the last second, right before the blade would hit, he quickly teleported above him, lowering the blade and letting gravity pull him down toward his opponent. The blade was now pulsing with light and letting off an extremely cold air* ((XD I love you for that now Nana. Go me xp I made Micha make a sound.))

Hmph...*Orias came up with a GOOD idea for once and coated the bottom of his boots in ice while he was still in the air. After this was accomplished, he landed on the barrier and slid down after Heritage at a much higher speed due to the frozen boots, his now light/ice blade pointing straight at him*

Thanatos_M
That's exactly what I expect you to do, or at least hope you'll do! *Than seemed exhausted at this point, for one reason or another* What do you expect to accomplish by searching this place. There are at least a couple dozen places she could be kept and easily transported between, if she really is here. If you want any hope of getting her back you're going to have to play more diligently. Besides, there are still other forces around here which could attack you, and they won't be as friendly either.

The clone nodded in agreement with Thanatos. "Ayiana. Stay put. It will all go faster if we try to at least be a little civil. If after we have been polite, Mastema refuses to give Phia back, then we can act rash." He looked at Than apologetically. "I'm sorry that I am saying that, but if after we wait and get bad results, I will have to resort to more drastic measures."

Looking back at Ayiana, the clone sighed. "I am working to help clear things up outside for Mastema so that we may get going with our own agenda that much more quickly. I don like helping him, but if it gets Phia back faster, I'll do it."

She grumbled "What Am I supposed to do then?" She yelled to the two men. "I-I don't know! I'm not allowed to look for her and I'm not allowed to fight...I am both Athaele's and Phia's daughters I CAN'T JUST SIT AROUND!" She was screaming by now. "Do you understand how hard it is for me to not just go flying in there? Damn It's gotten to the point where I don't care if I died along the way I just can't stand around to watch you tell me not to fight-" She looked to Draeken "-and you stand there and tell me to stay!" She spun on Than this time. She was chewing on her lip in anger, so much so that it was bleeding now and the tangy metallic taste filled her mouth. Her anger had caused her blue-violet eyes to glow green softly.

Proto: *Proto looked towards the bed for a moment, out of simply not having expected Micha, of all people, to make a sound. It was Proto's first time actually hearing anything from the child. Other than that, he paid no mind*

Omega: *In pleasure, Omega watched the ignited monster fall to the ground. She wouldn't be surprised if it just burned all of its precious life fluid this way. Turning now to Heritage, Omega witnessed Heritage's improvised maneuver and quickly moved to take advantage of the distraction. Bolting straight down, it seemed that Omega was actually going after KB, but in a sharp change of direction, Omega boltled almost 90 degrees from the direction she had been and went straight for Heritage, who'd just lept upward at Orias. In a move of feral speed, Omega spun and lashed out her tail with that momentum at Heritage's waist, her intent to cut his lower body right off*

Than: *Inside the barrier, Than didn't make any response. Obviously, Ayiana wasn't going to calm down, and Than wouldn't be able to change that. There was little more that he could accomplish here, and Than wanted to help those outside if he could* If I have to stay here in order to keep you from moving any further inward, then I will. But there are people outside who I can help and I want to do so. So can I really count on both of you not going any further than here?

Zeno: *If Zeno was experiencing joy, he didn't show it; his full attention was on the battle. The kids could have been adults for all he cared; they were still going to meet their end with him. Zeno knew that other forces from the forest were arriving, and that he would going to have to change his direction soon* Just die..... *Two panels opened up where Zeno's floating ribs would have been, if he had a human skeletal structure, and two more just above each shoulder blade. Out of these four openings, four extra arms extended. Each one held what seemed to be a shortened form of the Fuuraiken, and these duplicates soon extended into a size equal to the real one, which Zeno held in his right hand. Though these fakes couldn't produce the lightning power almost limitlessly as the original Fuuraiken could, they would function quite well as swords. Armed with 5 blades, Zeno charged into the newly arrived kids and used the four fake blades to slash at anything he got near while using the original Fuuraiken to send high voltage lightning arcs through more distant opponents*

*By now, Mastema had completely closed over the buried BG units. Whether the portal still worked to get them out was up to the casters. Mastema's attention quickly turned to the 23 growlers. He instantly saw a way to slow them down, if not stop them completely. Mastema, without giving himself a chance to rest from his large telekinetic feat, began preparing his next spell to stop the growlers. Unlike the last, there was no indication to the area this spell would effect. In the meantime, after probably taking out a good chunk of the children's guards, the 2Bs and 3Bs turned their attention to the approaching growlers. While the 3Bs could do little more than aim and shoot, the 2Bs played a large strategic role. The heavy chain guns were aimed at the upper part of the grolwer's bodies, specifically aimed at their missles. The bullets were easily large enough to detonate the missles if they got a hit. Using their remaining missles, the 2Bs launched these missles at the lowers sections of the growlers, specifically the knee joints, in the hopes of immobilizing the units by destroying their leg mechanisms. Under heavy fire, the 3Bs would fall, but the 2Bs were armed with extra plating on their left arms in the form of large shields. The shields still allowed the 2Bs to fire while holding them up. Because they could do so little, the 3Bs advanced towards the growlers, attempting to draw fire away from the bigger, more effective 2Bs*

Slayer: *Having seen this battle drag on long enough, Slayer, even as a retired general of the citadel, decided to make his contribution to the battle. In the midst of battle, the ancient vampire had appeared standing near the barrier. KB and Heritage were at another location by now. For the moment, Slayer did nothing, merely watching the battle with the growler units, well aware that there was a much bigger threat behind the growlers. In truth, this unit was the main focus of his attention*

Had gained admittance to the Citadel previosly, Kobei had no problem searching the grounds for her Son.

Kaiden had been sitting on the hard ground, surveying the carnage of battle, while his father was off, probably fighting a reasonable foe.

Kobei was not in phisical form, as she was off in the Plains attending to Eva at play. The snow had started to fall there, and Eva was making snow angels.

Kobei called out to her son, at which, Kaiden raised his head to look up, and into the sky. He did not know where this voice came from, so it made him so curious to find the source.

"Kaiden, be careful, and remember that your hands will guide you out of harm."

He looked around, and raised his hands up in the air, gleefully. His mother's voice always seemed to get him excited, and happy. Kaiden was in earshot of KB, and he started to say: "Mommy!" while clapping his hands together above his head.

*Orias quickly acted when Heritage disappeared. He had indeed thought that he was behind him, which in turn may have saved him because he teleported straight up into the air and hovered there* >_o My god! No more freaking bullets! It's @#$&ing bullocks! *He turned to what he thought was Heritage, but was in fact an illusion and fired a small energy blast at it. Even if it had hit the real Heritage, it would be more of an annoyance than anything.

Tegral
Draeken's sword cracked through the seemingly crystalized shell of plasmic flames, which shielded the cyborg from the fire, and thrusted towards the actual embodiment of technological annoyance. Unfortunately for Draeken if he continued his attack it would be fatal. Tegral's plasma cannon was already charged, and the second Draeken's sword showed through the barrier he fired. The target was Draeken's shoulder, the one holding the sword.

Laughing as the plasma blast was unleashed towards him, he continued the thrust anyway, as well as adding a bit of a push to it with a bit of bodily energy. The plasma blast would hit him right in the shoulder as Tegral had hoped, but the effects wouldnt be a missing limb.

His shirt was destroyed and fell from his body in tatters and charred flesh cracked and fell from him. The burn went from the right side of his chest to about mid bicep. Scorched bone and muscle tissue showed underneath the charred flesh. Obviously he wouldnt be able to use his arm for the rest of the battle. This didnt concern him however. He hardly needed arms to fight.

However, when the ground became soft, Draeken realized that Mastema was up to something. Looking towards the barrier, he laughed again and jumped into the air, large black and white wings erupting from his back and lifting him higher into the air. With every stroke of his massive wings, however, there was a shower of feathers that seemed hard enough and sharp enough to cut through steel that rained down on Tegral. Whether they would damage him or not wasnt the point. Draeken seemed intent on keeping the machine on the ground while it crumbled.

The clone growled at Ayiana. "You will be patient or I will hold you down myself! Things are being taken care of." He sighed heavily and shook his head. "Do you think that this is at all easy for me, just sitting here waiting? Do you think I want to stand around doing nothing in here? If I can sit and wait on matters outside, hoping that helping out there will get Phia back all the easier, then you can too, Ayiana!" His tone stated that he would take no backtalk now. He would hold her down himself if he had to. "If Than is unable to find Phia after what's going on outside is done, then you can do whatever the hell you wish, but not until then!"
