There are more things wrong with this Chuunin Exam than right.
Why would they want only one Chuunin out of 20? What an incredibly counterproductive thing as other potential ninja are killed for the title. If it's just a tournament where people might get killed it makes sense, because the weak are weeded out. But in this case even the strong, promising ones are killed. The title of Chuunin isn't a very lofty one, so why the heavy selection?
Also, Syl and Lily aren't going to kill anyone they've slept with. Not each other, not Aimi, and not Grim's four.
And finally, I'm sure I'm not the only one who does not want to lose their characters. Death isn't a big deal, true, but I like the names and appearances I've come up with, and I don't want to deal with other characters not remembering who they are.
I know you guys aren't able to change it at this point, so if nothing else this probably means my characters are withdrawing. Maybe Tsutae can stay in.

On a totally different note I've been wondering for a while now just how old Aimi is. Based on how young most of our characters are, I'm going to guess that Lily's due to appear on Dateline soon.

Duality- That exam is nothing... when I first attempted the Chuunin exam, I failed... actually, my body was digested... it's a long story. I would rather be sniped then be in someone's stomach.

If you character dies in an exam it doesn't matter, weak characters will die and strong chracters wil die
It's been done years ago with genin and it was successful but that was with a whole other group of people, no reason why it's too much now
Your putting too much thought into the exam kill people and move on to the next floor or wait for people to die, avoiding death youself and move on to the next floor

The only thing is, if you don't show good roleplay skills before you get sniped, you don't gain anything either. :3 'Sides, Kel's the only one taking part in the exams. I'm hoping to just have it be him. And Aimi isn't in the exam anymore. -goes to remove her name- Nvm. Done already. XP

Your character forgets who they were and starts again until they're reminded of their past. Their friends won't recognize them and vice versa. If they were on a personal quest they forget it.

Haha, a nice little touch of irony in the new Chunin exam. What with Chidori coming back, it's really making me feel nostalgic.
Duality, you can always call upon suspension of disbelief for dying when it doesn't fit your story. Since the guild is made of many stories woven together, just ignore the death for your own story aspects.

Hmmm... Noir told me that you couldn't lose anything during exams, that even if you die you wake up outside your home village?

Duality, sure they can. Doesn't mean they could get there without painful surgery or dues ex machina, but they could be put there. Just like a crayon getting lodged in a brain.

Exams = no penalty if I remember from the last time I RPed in one and lost :D
the only time that there was a penalty was the one Jonin exam where people lost rank...
