Yeah - I think getting every different group set up requires the Shinigami to take a lot of hits right at the start - they'll start doing better once every group is done pillaging them for power.

Hm... speaking of Shinigami being behind, do they have any allies? I know we were sort of planning for the Fullbringers to join them, but that doesn't seem like it's gonna happen, what with them having a tenuous alliance with the Arrancar right now.

Well not really an ally per say I have had arturo help them from the shadows such at him having mad eater tell the shinigami about the possibility of arrancar reappearing komugichiku and stall the arrancar while he was shapeshifting, but other then that no allies for the shinigami.

I'm considering performing an activity check. I'm seeing some people taking up positions and vanishing immediately after.
I noticed that as well I'm trying to stay active myself just having difficulty posting, there is one or two however that are having issue posting due to irl stuff.
It would help if they posted in the Hiatus thread x.x

I'll be the first to say that i do not read all the posts. The point of having a hiatus thread is to have a quick overview of who is going to be absent. OoC gets 10 or so new posts daily on good days so it is very easy to be buried.

That will be up to the involved captain's discretion. If they choose to stay, they best be prepared to justify themselves. Or at least order some of their squad NPC to do something.

I don't mind if your characters don't follow like mindless sheeps. In fact, I encourage that. The purpose of my posts is to generate more activity/content to post. I don't mind if a character strays so long as their actions are rational. That being said, inactivity is also irrational. Invasion at the heart of Seireitei and we have M.I.A. captains not doing anything. Stay in character, that means direct your people/NPCs. I understand that most RPers think that only RPCs can have impact on the story, but that far from the truth, heck Game Masters manipulate the course of RPs through NPCs.
I don't mind if you RP passively either since constantly coming up with new things or meaningful moves does become tiring and casual RP is very appealing sometimes. Just make sure that it makes sense.

NPCs are those disposable grunts that don't need any profile. That dude that's going to be killed off, or that messenger you send away.

Okay fine! NPCs of Division Three Defend the Seireitei! Or whatever is going on.
I guess my real question is the fact that Jack and Hiroshi are stuck in battle in Komiguchiku. Well Hiroshi is stuck in battle. Jack is his back up. Should we abandon the fight and head back to the Seirieitei? If we do stay put do I need to do something like an NPC post at the scene?

I don't mean to be rude, but in your post you kinda left out the part that im in the middle of an attack as well and im also a 3rd seat sweatdrop

Oh sorry I Read something about you and a lieutenant and got confused about that, as for your attack I didn't post it as I felt it was not important since he would already be aware of it and I felt posting it would be taking control of your character slightly.

Well yes, to walk in, But I don't know if I couldn't just rip a hole right into the base if I'm an Arrancar

Indeed, that will piss off Gengyo and Mana. But I'm just waiting for her to figure out that she has almost no powers, and can't Garganta her way outta there. Methinks she won't be all too happy. blaughblaugh
