Black_Magestic Seeming to get really paranoid, the forest just bringing back bad memories... especially the part they were in, she locked arms with him, as if something was going to jump out and take them apart, she just started to walk. "We are bound to find out way out soon.... Right?" Her eyes never stopped surveying the land, her seeming to be hunched over sniffing the air?? "I'm sure we...what're you doing?" He asked as he felt her lock arms with him. He wrapped his arms around her in a tight hug, not wanting her to panic. Quickly he grabbed his staff and raised it in the air, bringing light to the otherwise pitch black forest. "Let's keep going on. We're bound to find an exit"

realizing how ridiculous she probably looked, she stood up straight and took a big breath. "Well, these parts of forests really.... frighten me." She told him and she dropped her arms, trying to not think about her fears. Taking in another deep breath, she ended it with a sigh, the light just making it seem awkward. Putting her hand out in front of her, she moved it in one slowly circular motion, there being a small white light in it's path, but it went away. Shaking her head, she had never felt more rusty when it came to her skills... her not even able to get out a simple spell her father taught her to 'show her the way'.

"Nothing's wrong Pale... Nothing at all..." He said, before he reached into his jacket "Unless you consider me asking your hand in marriage something wrong..." He said a little quickly before taking out a small box from his jacket and getting on one knee. He opened the box to reveal a nice-looking diamond set in a golden ring "Pale... Will you marry me?" He asked, looking into her eyes.

Shaking her head, she had never felt more rusty when it came to her skills... her not even able to get out a simple spell her father taught her to 'show her the way'. Jay would give a small frown as he gently took her hand and said "You have me..." He said softly as he walked down the trail in front of them, hoping he could find some kind of light at the end of the tunnel....or forest in this case.

She couldn't feel her legs. She sank down on her knees, and looked back at him. It...he was serious. Her vision got blurry, and she looked up at him, smiling. "Yea" was all she could say.

He got down on both knees with her, before slipping the ring on her finger and extending his arms to hug her into a kiss.

Locking her fingers with his, she gave a weary smile, "And I'm very grateful for it." She gave his hand a small squeeze, the continued to walk, her just as close as she was before, but just more relaxed and not as jumpy. The reason the light seemed weird was because with it, the blocked off the darkness, it just seeming pure black.. But with it off, you got a faint view of everything, or at least she did.

She kissed him back hard, and after the ring was on her finger threw both her arms around him, ignoring the fact that she was crying.

Jay would dim the light, noticing it was merely a strain on the eyes. "I see something ahead. A light!" Jay said, excited now. He let go of her hand and said "I'll check ahead. Maybe we'll be able to get to that beach! He said as he ran towards the light and suddenly.....vanished

She froze as he let go of her hand... the only thing she could hear was her heat beat increasing. Why did he leave her and not take her with her?! Not moving a muscle (other than her heart..), her eyes readjusted to the dark, her seeing the light, but always remembering the old wives tale 'never go near the light'... So, she would just wait, still not making a single movement, everything about her resembling a rock.

His eyes widened as he stopped running and let out a scream. Then it died and there was only silence.
(sorry for the crap post. It's meant to be a cliffhanger)

She took in a large gasp, her eyes moving to the path ahead of her. Just as she did, the forest seemed to come alive some as a small gust of wind rolled by. Indeed she was frightened.. more so for him, but she couldn't decide if she should go after him or just... stay there. Swallowing hard, she clamped her hands into a tight fist and started running forward, her soon coming to the light, her yelling out his name as if to get a response that he was okay.

"Stay back!" Jay yelled as his voice rang out. Right where the light was...in fact, right where it began was an incredibly deep cliff. Jay's staff was lodged in one of the cracks in the side. He looked up, his face pale...paler than usual. His knuckles were bleeding from trying to dig his fingers in to climb up. He looked up to the top of the cliff and took a deep breath...looking down and feeling sick. stressed

She had just made the drop off, her falling to her knees once she realized what was wrong. "Jay!!" She hollered as she tried to reach down from him on her stomach. It didn't feel very good, it rather hurt, but at the time she was more concerned with helping him even though she knew that she wouldn't be able to reach him by far. "I'm... I'm going to look for a vine or something!" She called as she slowly got up, it being as fast as she could really get up, her trailing off and telling him to just hold on a bit longer.

Aes had been walking out from the hotel. He was severly weakened, his ki barely holding him up...and in front of him he could see Mr. Kimache, or rather, his wife yelling to him, he must be over the cliff. He walked over to investigate.
