How did you know that's what I got on my test Tuesday night????????? Do you have ESP, Willa??? eek cool

Also got 100% on my math test tonight. Practiced calculating TPNs all during lab and break so I would get it right on the test. Angel can explain what a TPN is better than me. I just know it's a type of IV.

Total Parenteral Nutrition: administration of "food" as a solution ( containing all the required nutrients including protein, fat, calories, vitamins, and minerals ) through a catheter into the superior vena cava ( a large diameter, yet short, vein that carries deoxygenated blood from the upper half of the body to the heart's right atrium ).
Now. Aren't you glad you asked? rolleyes LOL blaugh rofl rofl blaugh
Yes, actually. Kinda cool. I now know how to calculate the doctor's orders into mL and mg (or mEq). It's confusing, until you get the hang of it, and then it's quite easy.
