*Maggie's jaw nearly drops at Hajime's threat, but stunned as she is, she's quick to put herself between this woman and Bard, and find her voice again* Nay, nay, he means me no harm! He did nothing I didna permit *she rushes to assure her, then tries to explain* We just . . we thought we were alone, and. .. I love him, ye see, so .. 'tis alright! 'Tis really alright.
