"I thank you for your help Innis. I shall speak great word of you on my travels, but for now I must rest my weary body. I am heading up to my room. No dinner for me tonight. It has been a long time since I have slept." Pheaura nodded her thanks and headed up towards the room she had paid for. She threw her large sword on the ground and climbed undneather the warm wool covers. She quickly drifted off to sleep.
((My apologies, but I am whiped...long school day to day, was there till 6:00pm so I am heading to bed. See you soon!))

Serino was quite happy to not be carriage pulling fodder, though he knew better than to voice that since dear old Ramoth would chew on him, literally, if he did complain because she was doing the same thing. Of course a few breif words with her, reassuring that he would come back to help her later. Not that she needed it, but hey he was a gentleman. But he waited patiently for Zahara, come on you all, hurry up before I have an angry nightmare to deal with.
Sevilin merely nodded to Piper and along with the other two elves, made thier exit. Though a look to Zahara's hand and then a look to Arthur. "You ride with her...I'll meet you both back at the fortress." Because he had to make sure they got back safe and sound of course. Thus he stepped back from them and a gesture of his hand, the familiar runic circle, and he was gone. Translocation was wonderful.
Piper merely watched them go off and then sighed lightly before plopping down at the table with yet another sigh. Well there, that was taken care of and she wouldn't have to worry about that little bit. Of course her mood was still rather upbeat so she probably looked merely to be sitting contently. Another look at the veiling of her dress. Yes, that would come out...besides it was red...not like it was too noticable.

Arthur exited with the other two drows after they gotten the okay to leave and go back home, then one Zahara was able to get Serino to let them take hem back home Arthur wondered how would all three of them fit on Serino? Though once the female drow got up on the nightmare and stretched out her hand for one of them his answer came from Sevilin, seemed that the man could easily get home without no worries which didn't bother Arthur much, at least they didn't have to worry about who sat in front of who. "Alright then, later Sevilin." He replied and watched as the man used his own magic to quickly disappear, he was probably already home. Slowly the young surface elf looked back towards Zahara's open hand and nodded, grabbing it lightly then gripping it so he could pull himself up without pulling the pregnant woman down by mistake, once he got in the saddle behind Zahara he wrapped his arms gently around her waist and waited in silence a little bit before saying. "Ready when you are Zahara."

Zahara tensed immediately when his arms wrapped around her but she forced herself to calm down and relax. They were staying at waist level after all, not near the danger zone. Whispering the command to Serino she waited for that familiar feeling of weightlessness that woud accompany Serino and his wind traversing and whatnot. It wouldn't take them long to get home either though they would not get there as quickly as Sevilin had. He had instantaneous transportation by translocation thanks to his runic abilities. She couldn't do that. For one thing she wasn't strong enough and for another, well Sevilin would have her head if she even considered it. Thus it was a relatively short ride, where everything passed in a blur though no actual movement was felt and then they were back at Triumverate and she was slowly slipping off Serino, patting him lightly and offering him the other half of that apple. "Thank you Serino. You may head back to Nightmare now." She really wished Piper had followed but she hadn't and there was nothing Zahara could do about that.

A little rear on his part to slid Arthur off as well, not one to dwadle...though he did take enough time to eat that other half of his apple and giving a nuzzle to Zahara before moving off, taking a moment to check on his yearlings before he melted away into the breeze to go back to Ramoth. No need to keep the mare waiting on him.
Sevilin was indeed already at the fortress, standing just outside the doorway and had been waiting for the two to show up. He knew it wouldn't take long, and he could stand the weight on his ankle...didn't bother him anyway.

Arthur felt Zahara tense underneath his grip and sighed mentally, he had a feeling that if Sevilin was the one in his spot Zahara wouldn't be feeling like this. Then in a quick flash the zephyr named Serino quickly took the two of them back to the fortress without no worries. Once they reached the large fortress Arthur waited until the drow rider got off first so it be easier for herself then slowly slipped off when Serino made the indication for him to get off the zephyr's back. Arthur brushed down his cloths a little after he got off and looked back at the doorway to see Sevilin already waiting there for the two of them, without one word Arthur placed his hands in his pockets and began walking towards the doorway not wanting to cause a fuss.

Zahara watched Arthur go for a moment and felt bad because she'd been the cause of his guilt and irritation. She'd purposely aggrivated a situation she shouldn't have messed with. Truthfully she deserved what she'd gotten. She couldn't say what prompted her next move and she really didn't want to contemplate too hard on it. Catching up with Arthur she grabbed his shoulder and spun him around kissing him lightly on the mouth. "Thank you for making the evening interesting, Galesen. Even though it turned sour in the end." Leaving him be, she glanced at Sevilin and began walking towards him. She'd made him a promise and fully intended to keep that. "Sevilin? How about we go to the library? That way I can look at your ankle and you can stay on the couch in comfort." Yes, she was asking. Shocker.

Mood swings. The bane of the pregnant woman and it looked like Zahara was going through them as she apparently was apologizing to Arthur, though also using his elvish name along with it. It was best to just not take anything bad she did to heart these days unless she really really cut deep. Though his attention moved solely to her as she approached him. "I did have more intention of going back out and working on my home...there's still a lot to be done..." And his priority list wasn't an injured ankle. "But I have the feeling you'd be resentful to me if I refused." And he really didn't want that right now.

The cheif rubbed the back of his neck with one hand. "I appreciate that you had the hospitalities to offer one of my people your help." His jovial manner was dropped, replaced by all buisness. Leaf and Stick straightened their shoulders, as if waiting an angry rebutle. "But, Mr. D'vinn, I do not see an allience with yourself being benifical for me. We have plenty of food, we grow and hunt such things outselves. We use simple materials from the land. We are a self sustaining people. But I fear that an allience with you would cause us to quickly dwindle in numbers." He shrugged his shoulders in an appologetic matter.
She blushed, looking sheepish. "Do I?" She cleared her throat. She wasn't sure how she should gfeel aobut her hands being held like that, but decided not to make it an issue. She took a quick glance around the room. "I will be staying with the Oracle for now, and for as long as I know at the moment."

The young elf was slowly making his way towards the front door with his single eye avoiding Sevilin so they wouldn't have to talk to each other, besides he had a feeling he would be going through his own punishment tomorrow in training. So Arthur didn't noticed Zahara catching up to him and was caught by surprised when she turned him around and then suddenly kissed him on the mouth. There was no tongue or anything but still feeling Zahara's soft lips pressed up against his own made Arthur's blush appeared on his face as his eye widen when he was caught of guard by the drow's sudden action. When she pulled away Arthur leaned forward just a little as if Zahara's lips were magnetically attached to his own as they were trying to pull him back, and for some reason he was lost for words but he listened in silence as Zahara thanked him for making the evening interesting; she even used his own elven name in the sentence which made him blush even a little more. "Your welcome?" He asked with a puzzled look on his face but Zahara didn't answer as she walked over to Sevilin so she could look at his foot. Scratching his head lightly he stared at Zahara for a moment before giving his goodnights to the both of them and headed inside.

"I understand your simplicity of life. I also understand from your scout you are under near constant attack from orcish raiders and the like, relying on ambush and stealth tactics. your weapons are lackluster at best. I cqn give you a more potent defense that might make them think twice before testing thier luck another time. and when I mention food. I'm not talking underdark varieties. I'm speaking of things most of your people have only heard of in stories, and the others have near forgotten."
A slight grin.
"I have access to foods you find on the surface. things like honey, cinnamon, carrots, yams, beets...the list goes on. And you worrying about your dwindling numbers is not a real issue. I've no intentions of launching major campaigns or the like. My days as a glory mongering general are long over."
A more serious look.
"However, Lord Jiscal is human. and when human lords grow bored, they like to stir the pot. and to be honest, I don't want him having an alliegance to a place a stone's throw from my own if his boredom leads to testing his military might to reclaim lands he's already told me should have been his."
Onyx purred lightly to her, and berfore she coudl really object, nuzzled her cheek just lightly, before letting go of her hands.
"I am glad that you came to see me even in my cell...and even though you were the harbringer of a potential death sentence."
A slight grin, trying to be funny usually wasn't something he excelled at.

"Have you ever truly seen out weapons, Mr. D'vinn? It doesn't take finess to kill an orc; our weapons though they may apear humle do the damage we need. We have no need for variety, not even surface variety. We only need energy to sustain our bodies. When the surface is restored we will rejoyce in good tasting food, because we will have earned that right."
"But Mr. D'vinn, please understand. We know you have many enemies, and more than once has your home been attacked. Should more attacks come, we would be called to defend you. To defend one man and his wife. You have no people, you have no fertile lands. Your life is not worth hundreds of my people."
"King Jiscal," using the proper title, since they were not happy aquaintence, "is indeed human. That means he is half of us. We are demi-humans, so I find your attitude towards out blood someone insulting," said with that jovial tone again.
She blushed and looked down, wishing he hadn't done that. She clasped her hands in front of herself. "I would have stayed longer, had preperatiosn not pulled me away."

Malik only shrugged.
"As you wish, for now. But fair warning. If I see a Deepwater ship not supplied for merchant travel coming to your port, I will take action. I may not be a warmonger like Jiscal's backer...but I do use similar methods."
He turned around, before glancing over his shoulder.
"I have no need of you for military purpose. As you said, my home has been attacked many times. and by forces far more powerful then you coudl hope to mount a defense for. And my home still stands. Perhaps then, you'd consider my offer further...the orcs will onyl play with you so long. eventually they'll come in full force. and stealth and ambushes won't stop them."
Before heading back to Piper, looking at her viel.
"So..who's blood is it and do I have to hurt someone?"
Back to a more pleasent tone of voice, taking a seat by her and picking up a glass of cider. after all, he wasn't going to torment her with drinking wine when she couldn't. not to mention human wine wasn't quite as refined in most cases. but then again, a human didn't have millenia to prefect thier recipes.
Onyx smiled lightly at her, and titled his head abit.
"Can i take that as a you missed me too comment? Perhaps you'd like to sit down...and we can share stories of what we've been doing while we were apart thanks to a drow captian's orders?"

"Do not touch the ports of the Purian Peninsula. They have nothing to do with you." His tone less jovial. You don't mess with Purians. "We have been dealing with the orcs for thosands of years. You have livid in this underdark but one. We know how to handle what you have only skimmed the top of."
He turned to his two attendents, offended by Malik's nature.
She shrugged, not wnting to say anything.
"Sure, I guess." She took a set, looking up at him. "What do you want to know?"

Jiscal had watched Malik present himself to the Purians. Knowing full well that the D'vinn lord would try to impress people, Jiscal had prepared himself for this ocassion. He had hoped he could have heard what Malik offered the Purians, but alas, loud parties had a tendancy to only help lip readers. Alas, Jiscal could not do that.
Thus, he stood, and walked to the Purian table, after waiting a few minutes.
"Greetings, Concil of the Purian." He bowed his head, "I have witnessed a local lord bartering with you, and hope to provide you with an attiquit counter-offer. If your people would like, I would have you come live in my city. It has been a short civil war, and I cannot expect you to forgive this kingdom its passed indiscreations at the hands of a madman, but I can most assuridly put forth an attempt to regain your friendship. I have devised a long term plan that would bring my country from its knees, but we would never have the potential or power to expand, let alone defend ourselves. Our Island capitol would allow your people to have a certain degree of freedom. Recent history has shown that even here, my people are preyed upon by the animalistic nature of the dark. A foul beast hath learned to slip passed our gates, and entre into our city freely, but my Champion gathered the Warriors of Light, and defeated the creature. I feel that it would be prudent for your people to come and join us here on this Island."
Jiscal breathed softly, "To show you that our intentions are not to draw you into slavery, I will have an open Senate created. One Senator shall sit for every three thousand citizens, and they will be allowed to prupose Law to me. The Senate may debate the importance of the Law, and whether or not I should adhere to the rocommendation. Further, any Law that I pass is open for the safe scrutiny of the Senate. They may attack my Law as they see Justly fit. I will take there opinons to heart, and alter the Law or leave it be according to closer scruitiny"
"But, that alone does not show any attempt not to enslave you. I bring forth the idea of two charters. The first, the Charter of Rights for the Kingdom of Deep Water. A decree that would insure the freedom of all who live within my realm, and depict the expectations and limiations of Monarchical power upon the people. The Second, the Charter of Species. This second document will be unrevokable, and provide the legal basis of what is considered 'Deep Waterman'. This document will tell of the Rights and Dignities allowed to the Races inscribed upon it. I would be most happy if you would assist in drafting this Law."
"I know that asking you to leave your homes is rather unsavory, but I can encourage you to come and live within the stone walls of my Capital city. I would also encourage you to bring some of your plantlife along with you, as we could grow a orcherd upon the roofs of our buildings."
"If you would, please think carefully upon this matter. I would like to think that aglomerating our peoples would increase the livelihood of both, and decrease the threat of invaders."
