It wasn't enough. He's given up all hope. And I'm going to lose him. Though the former is undoubtedly worse than the latter, the latter is more personally devastating to me. I can't help it. I'm selfish, and I need him. He sees no point in friends anymore, because there's nothing we can do, and no hope we can give him, and soon he'll have little chance to be with us. (I'm trying to hope it's not no chance at all.)
He's the best friend I've ever had, and now he's quickly becoming distant. He's given up on ever having any happiness for any length of time. And there's nothing I can do to give it to him.

I hate timezones. It was bad enough having to stay up past 11 or 12, but now I have to stay up until after 1AM if I even want to talk to him at all during the week, and I can't afford to do that on the days I have to be up early for school/work. I know it's not good for me to be so dependent on him, and I know the time apart will be good for me, but it's so ******** lonely. He's my only friend, so if I can't talk to him, I don't talk to anyone.
And he doesn't even seem to care. It doesn't seem to make a difference to him whether he talks to me every day or once a month. And I don't think he even realizes how hard this is on me. It's finally the weekend, and we finally get to talk, and he goes to watch a movie instead. I don't hold it against him, but it's still really disappointing to know that I don't mean as much to him as he does to me.

Wow it feels like it's been forever and a half since I've been here. THINGS!! Thing 1: I've been semi-secretly exploring my feminine side because it turns out I may be genderqueer or possibly a woman waiting to transition. I got flower pins and I love them: I'm gonna go shopping with a female friend for cute girly clothes. She's super supportive and I appreciate her a lot. ALSO! I know I was often a complete douche here when I used to post, and a lot of that had to do with what I didn't realize was a thing called social anxiety disorder. Basically I get really paranoid about what people think of me, and that can cause me to get really defensive. I've started taking anxiety medication for it and I've definitely noticed a difference.

I explored crossdressing today as part of my gender questioning. PICS Today I bought the dress, the tank top, and yes, the push-up bra. I need a lil' stuffing to make it work right, I want to get a matching skirt, and I'll probably need to wax or shave my chest if I'm gonna wear the tank top regularly. But today felt wonderful. I am incredibly lucky to have some supportive friends, as I am fully aware that most of the world is brutally judgmental about transgender and genderqueerness.
