I'm deathly worried about my cat, she's not eating properly. We have taken her to a vet recently to have some bad teeth removed and when she came back, she ate happily....but now she isn't eating, at first, we thought it was the new thyroid medication but since we took her off of it.....well....she still hasn't eaten. My kitty is wasting away and the anxiety is starting to kick in and I don't know what to do.

One reason she might not have gotten her appetite back right after going off the thyroid meds is because thyroid hormone has a really long half life so once she stops taking it it would still stay in her system for up to a month.

I haven't gotten a chance to update, but today, we had to put her down. Her condition was getting worse and worse and she was to the point where though we tried every thing we could think of, even internet memes, there was literally nothing else we could have done, even if we held out for the month, she was liable to be suffering from extreme liver damage by then.

I'm sorry to hear of your loss sad losing a pet is hard but if she was suffering it was probably for the best. Sounds like she must have lived a great life with such loving owners though

I miss this place. I miss zOMG!. I miss my friends I had from here. But I can't seem to friend them again, because I've been away for so long... And yet I sometimes find myself lurking in here.

Aww, i'm sorry to hear about your loss! It's really hard to lose a pet, my hamster just recently died, but that's nothing compared to a cat D:

Phoenixious333 I miss this place. I miss zOMG!. I miss my friends I had from here. But I can't seem to friend them again, because I've been away for so long... And yet I sometimes find myself lurking in here. I know the feeling. I really miss this place being active. And with zOMG now being completely gone any small chance that was left that we'd become active again went *poof* and yet I still randomly lurk here and lament at how days can go by and no one posts. It's sad. cry And although I liked a lot of people here I never really interacted enough to have any contact info to stay in contact so I miss the forum conversations I used to have with people here since that was the only way I talked to anyone from here.

I'm assuming everyone has seen Frozen, since I'm about to use it for an analogy.
I have a sister. Actually, you know her. We made a pact never to tell you, but since she hasn''t logged onto the site in over a year, I think it's safe now. (Just in case I use her username without thinking.) The thing is, we used to be close. As in, we still sleep about two feet apart close. But ever since she started dating her current boyfriend (about six months), it feels like she's drifting away. Mum and Dad are noticing it, too. She just doesn't make time for us any more. While her boyfriend is in town, I barely see her. Literally, I'm usually asleep before she gets home. Well, tonight we were actually at a party together. Granted, it was her friends that I know through extension (we all went to the same college and Mum made sure Gabrielle got me invited, since I'm a lot a homebody...), but still. It was nice. And, as you might have guessed from the post opener, we watched Frozen. It was going well until leaving time. She wouldn't even come home with me, instead opting to have her bf drop her off. There was a 10 minute difference at most! "Do You Want to Build a Snowman?" is stuck in my head, and I've realized something. Right now, Gabrielle is the Elsa to my Anna. I can only hope that, like the movie, things will work out in the end, but it's currently hard to see it.
And she's about to get out of the bathroom and come in here, so time to go. But at least that's off my chest.

Okay, I'm getting slightly freaked out lately. On multiple occasions, I've managed to almost psychically guess several different things from a short dream a friend had (which alone is creepy) to guessing on multiple occasions what my best friend is watching or listening or reading when I have only heard of the things name and nothing about it. To the two tarot readings (I have the Homestuck Tarot Deck which is my favorite) I did last night that pretty much were pretty spookily spot on.

i am going to college in a few months
its really scary to me because im not quite sure how to handle anything outside of my room at home. i had to be homeschooled my last year of high school because i had anxiety attacks constantly and tried to kill myself at school once.. i feel really bad because my mother expects more from me and wishes i didnt have the problems i did and tells me to just "get over it" when i try to tell her i want to die more than anything else in the world. i dont know wh im posting this here but i feel anonymous even though a lot of you knew me in the past and i just needed to vent. im really tired of being hurt im really really tired of it and i dont think ill last long on my own for too long before i kill myself
i was supposed to live with my best and only friend but now i dont thikn thats going to happen and i dont know what to do
