Demetri sighed and hugged Lunora. "I know. It'll take a bit, but I have a feeling this isn't the end of the two of them."
Kai had managed to hitchhike to the beach, and she started down the beach, headed at the water. She again caught sight of the same shark that'd been patrolling when she'd left, and she took of her clock, wading into the water. Soon enough, she was back to mermaid form, and she swam right to the shark. "Sir, I would like to be taken to the Queen." [OOC:] Wanna skip to when the humans come back?

[OOC:] Sure.
The week passed as the castle prepared. Lunora had taken over, quite forcefully, meeting the humans at the front gate. She could easily be seen as a human with all of her traits hidden. The fox wanted to give them a good scare for having to make her send her beloved princes away with her father.
So she sat on the front stoop, drinking some tea as she waited for the humans to come. She would only scare them and give them fair warning.
Luke was still preparing a few weapons, checking to see if everything was set. He had set up booby traps everywhere on the grounds. And all for the humans bent on killing them.
Deep in the mountains, Hakaru had adjusted to tribal life with the pack. He pulled his weight around camp, sometimes more. But he hadn't said a word since they left. He was still as quiet and still depressed. But it never affected his work. Just his eating habits.

Jethrow stood near Lunora, since the humans were expecting him. A handful of students were inside the castle, waiting to be told what to do. Anya and Searan were in charge of them. All three of them worried over who would live through this, and who would die. It was practically guaranteed that they were all doomed. However, as Anya had said the night before: "I may die, but I'm taking a hell of a lot of them with me."
Damian had adjusted well, as had Hakaru, but he knew Hakaru was being quieter than usual. It wasn't just his younger brother's shyness this time. There had definitely been a fight with Kai. Damian himself missed his friends, and his mind kept wandering to Mina. Was she alright? He wondered.
Kai had been productive so far. She'd been taken straight to the court of the sea, and though she'd been rather close to execution for a moment, since she hadn't been directly involved with the murder her clan had committed, she was permitted her audience with the Queen. She'd told the Queen about the humans, and how if they let every war pass over their heads, eventually someone would come and destroy their underwater world. They'd agreed with her. On the morning of the last day, Kai headed a group of powerful mer-people warriors, headed to Mesilici. There was a surprise in store for these humans.

Lunora continued to wait, glancing at Jethrow. "Want some tea before they get here? They're bound to test your nerves."
Hakaru finished up his daily chores and sat on a rock. He always finished his chores early since he slept a little less so he started very early. And when he was done, he'd park himself on this rock for a while before going back to his hut and sulk for the rest of the day. Kai was still on his mind, and still eating away at him little by little.

"No thank you," Jethrow said softly, sighing and taking a seat on the steps. "I wonder just how many they're bringing."
Over the horizon, a large army of humans started up the hill. They were all clearly experienced soldiers, and as the army came up they all looked around warily for any sign of hostility.

Lunora nodded some and continued to sip her tea quietly. She could hear and feel the vibrations of the army marching ever closer. She soon stood and packed her tea set up and put it just inside the door so it would not get broken. She then returned to Jethrow's side and waited to speak with the humans.

The army paused on the lawn of the castle, surprised at being confronted by two such normal looking people. "Jethrow von Dante, wizard of Mesilici. You have been ordered to turn over all of your students whom are not of human descent, and to have those who are repent their actions of magic and join us. Have you complied?" The general's voice boomed around the grounds, and Jethrow resisted the urge to smirk. He was feeling rather evil at the moment. "No I have not." That was the cue for the army. Immediately, hidden readied their bows, but no movement of attack was made just yet.

Lunora smirked for Jethrow, stepping forward a little. "You know. Your imminent army attack made me send away both my sons because I feared for their lives and what you might do to my precious sons. I think it's time I give you a taste of the anger I am feeling. And you can watch as I take you your little archers." she said, waiting for a cue from Jethrow.

Jethrow nodded to Lunora, taking a few steps back and waiting for Lunora to finish. As soon as she'd started the attack, he would open the doors and let out the other students. The army started to murmur, a little worried, but not all too threatened by a woman. Big mistake.

Lunora smirked, fire erupting from ehr hands in long dangerous ribbons. "You humans should learn to leave us be!" she said, six fire tails appearing as she suddenly disappeared for a few seconds before reappearing in the same spot, all the archers just collapsing.

The army surged forward as soon as they saw their dead archers, and Jethrow waved a hand, flinging the door open. Their significantly smaller army started to come out, headed straight at the humans. However, as soon as the fighters were spotted by the general, he waved his hand, as well. Two more armies of a larger size surged from either side of the castle, trampling the grounds as they came, weapons at the ready.

The siblings took over the side armies, each taking one. But both had switched into their full demon forms, biting and clawing at the now tiny soldiers. Both canine beasts roared intimidatingly as they spouted their elements everywhere, taking down flank after flank.

Even though the fighters for Mesilici were working hard and taking down a whole lot of soldiers, they were severely outnumbered. Jethrow watched as they began to fall. He knew the battle was winding down, and as he exterminated a few more soldiers, he wondered how they were going to die.
Kai and the warriors arrived behind the original army, and immediately plunged into battle. The humans were suddenly confused. The mer-people army was as large as two of the humans', and since the other Mesiliians had already taken care of a good chunk, the humans started to diminish significantly.

Lunora was glad she saw the mer-people. Good because she was about to pass out from exhaustion..The beasy may have been large, but the energy was not to last.

Soon, the Mer-Army had made its way through the humans, and the human armies were finally slaughtered. There weren't too many casualties from the Mesilici side, and Anya immediately started moving around, healing the more severe cases before they were moved into the castle by a couple other healers. Kai looked around worriedly; there was no sign of Hakaru anywhere. Did that mean it had worked? She'd convinced him to leave with his brother? The best way to find out, decidedly, was to ask his parents. Demetri immediately rushed to Lunora, who he knew had lost a lot of energy. He put a hand on her shoulder once she was human again, looking to see if she was hurt.
