Jacob_Crossfield If that's your reasoning, how can I argue? Especially when it's induced by one of my favorite games of all time? (I played Fallout since the first game)
Well It's nice to meet you confused person and Joker! Can't wait to RP with you all!
I finally got photobucket to work again and now have the pic I wanted on my characters profile.
Speaking of whch, who here has played the original "Baldur's Gate" games? (Where I got said pic) Eh, I've only played the console games. They're fun, but really only something I played because I could do so with friends. I did play a lot of Diablo II when it came out though.... which is also a sort of old video game... I'm afraid it's to late at night for me to be very relevant.

The tentative start date for the new faction vs. faction quest was today April 14th, however it will be pushed back a few days to allow others to sign up. Starting date will likely be this upcoming monday.
Also I am planning on throwing up a mage's guild quest. Would there be any takers? We would need a minimum of three members for this quest to go forward.
Post here or shoot me a pm if interested and have an idea of what you would like to do. Otherwise I'll just pick a quest from the game and make it more challenging for our characters. EDIT>
There is a new mage's guild quest that is taking reservations. Looking to limit it to four individuals total. Preference will be given to new members or members not able to join the DarkBrotherhood vs. Fighter's Guild quest.

I'm not feeling too intrigued by the Brotherhood vs. Fighter's Guild one so I'll keep out of that. For some reason it escaped me that it was a faction-versus-faction and I'm just not into that sort o' thing.
Might join the Mage one. I am a little spread out RP-wise right now, though.
Jacob - Yeah, Fallout. : D My dad got me Fallout 1 when I was about 11, I wasn't very good at it but it was pretty amusing nonetheless. I sort of grew into it.
Baldur's Gate I got earlier than that I think, from my D&D-playin' godfather. I still love that game and have my original copy of BG I, BG II, and the ones for console (gifted to me; they're alright)...and now I wanna play Baldur's Gate I. :3

That game was AWESOME. The second was better, but is really hard to find.

Welcome Dusty!
Gigant- Oh yes. Baldurs gate one will always have a special place in my heart. I preferred Shadows of Amn and Throne of Bhall over it though. Much more content. Oh and the amazing mods they come up with
Joker- I have the first Dark Alliance. It was okay but it didn't live up to the original series. Baldur's Gate for the PC was sort of the grandfather of Bioware and Obsidian RPG's as far as I can tell. The Dragon Age series was actually it's spiritual successor. If you've only played the console games, I would recommend buying it online or even torrenting it. It's more of a piece of videogame history than Diablo II or Starcraft.
