*Hearing the thud, Eecheb turns to see a stranger walking towards him. So far, he's anything but impressed, then again he's only eight months old even if in appearance he seemed to be seven. Again the boy's wings would flex out, and his tail would start to whip a little more violently behind him. As far as first impressions went, Eecheb was already getting the jump on not liking Tyrsais. He wasn't Thanatos, but he appeared to like a good reaction out of his subjects. Eecheb wasn't so easy to scare as Trilla however, his eyes narrow on the man and the boy takes on a more offensive posture*

Eecheb: =_= | Who are you, Zio's shadow? Only Zio calls me that...

*That much was true, in the citadel only Zio ever refured to the children as lord or lady, and not just them but Mastema and Nana aswell. Perhaps a few others too, but guests seemed to be known under "sir", or "miss" no doubt. Sir Himura in this case, or at least one of them, Tyrsais Himura was now with Eecheb the last of the citadel's young citizens*

???: .............?!

*Something about Thanatos had obviously caught the attention of the creature, as the yellow circles enlarge. With perhaps only a second or two for Thanatos to make any kind of reaction, the red and yellow sphere started to approch him rather quickly. The thing wasn't going to attack Thanatos was it? If so, then this would be its first signs of aggression against anyone in the citadel. With Thanatos by all rights "frozen in place", hopefully he could do more than just close his eyes and wait for something horrible to happen, unless that was all he intended to do*

*The large sphere did indeed change course to continue on toward Thanatos. As it drew nearer the yellow circles got smaller, like the sphere was focusing on him again. By the time the sphere was about three meters away, it would also be looming from about three meters above aswell. Looking down upon Thanatos as if he were so much smaller than it. The yellow circles would again begin to grow and shrink in size*

???: ..............?!

*Unnerving was indeed this creature's calling card this evening, perhaps doing so unintentionally again, Thanatos would hear very loud bongo-like notes echoing through the air around him. It might just have been the answer to his questions, then again maybe not. The first drum beat was single and very loud, enough so that the ground shook a little. A few seconds after would come two beats, also fairly strong. The pattern would continue for a few seconds more before things wend dead silent again. Thanatos might not have been able to tell, but the "eye" wasn't looking at him, or rather wasn't looking at his face specifically*

???: ...............?!

*Even more unnerving, two huge hands severed from anything else would slowly seem to materialize from the surrounding shadows. The hands rested on the ground for a moment before the right disconnected hand lifted a meter up into the air and moved toward Thanatos. While the hand moved, the circles in the sphere started moving again a little. The creature certainly seemed curious about Thanatos for some reason*

*The thumb and index finger of the hand that approched Thanatos, would stay protruded as the other fingers on the hand curled up toward the palm. Lowering to near ground level, both fingers would pinch one end of Thanatos' overly long pant legs and tug on it lightly. It appeared that one shadow had reccognized another in a way. Thanatos' outfit was made from shadows, and in turn the creature whom had been seen on at least two occassions shadow-like, seemed to like them. The sphere seemed to move slightly closer, as it moved around slightly to "view" these shadow clothes a little more closely. One can only wonder what it might have been thinking. Thanatos would probably be pleasantly surprised to get a vocal reaction from the creature this time. It seemed distant, echo-like perhaps in one reguard or another, yet strong. The other hand moved slightly aswell, like weight was being put against it so the eye could move along with the bulk of whatever it was?*

???: Kewaaaa~ ? | Kewaaaa~ ?

*Whether or not the creature understood Thanatos' words wasn't yet determined, but both Thanatos and the creature did share one thing in common, shadows. If anything, maybe there was a way to communicate though one perhaps Thanatos hadn't yet even considered. This thing was a creature of shadow and Thanatos had shadow powers, needless to say some pretty interesting things might be possible. The creature contined looking over the shadow garments with interest, it had probably never seen shadows used in such a way before. Still the question had to be asked, where did it come from? What was it doing here, and was it possibly dangerous? So far the creature had only been curious for the most part, and for now continued its strange vocalizations*

???: Kewaaaa~ ? | Kewaaaa~ | Kewaaaa~ ...

*Releasing the longer than normal pant leg, the sphere began to move around behind Thanatos. Maybe it did understand "follow me", or maybe it was just still poking about at Thanatos' shadow wear. Either way it was behind him now and Thanatos could move forward toward his destination. The bongo sounds had stopped, and both hands were now hovering in the air about a half meter from the ground. The way the hands hung in the air, made them look even more dead or even like how a ghost in old stories held their hands, to the right person it might look rather spooky*
