So Tsutae will somehow obtain a sword that was the titular artifact of a fantasy series TEN BOOKS LONG. The sword is made to be carried only by the Seeker of Truth-- one who the wizards designated as the one who would be the law unto himself. Anyone can turn the blade red (it will then cut through anything that is an enemy like a ******** lightsaber) but the rightful, prophecized owner of the blade can turn it white with emotions of compassion and kill even friends.
Also, the rightful owner of the sword is able to withstand the "price" of killing someone indefinitely and will never be broken by it.
Now, a few questions.
Is Tsutae the "rightful" owner of the blade? i.e. can she kill with mercy as well as with righteous fury?
If not, can Tsutae grow her wings and "become" the rightful owner from Terry Goodkind's books, and then wield this power?
If Tsutae kills while in the form of the rightful owner, will she still risk being killed and turned into a shadow creature by the consequences?

Damian - I believe so. No official announcement was made, but I think people mentioned it in here.

Are tournament matches judged on how nice your posts were, or just how much you hurt your opponent?

With my new made-up, I'm going to be able to pull off some enormous clone-spam dickery.
My god I'm looking forward to the little gambit I'm thinking of. So much that I'm actually going to save the surprise and not use it on anyone until my first chuunin exam opponent.

Has anyone here actually read Terry Goodkind's The Sword of Truth series?

Duality | What it says is what it does, I say. The penalties are what keep the sword from being too powerful. So I'd say being the rightful owner will change nothing. But you can try making a Made Up for it. That's just my opinion. You can always ask another mod. 3nodding It all depends on the criteria of the fight. In a one-on-one fight for a raise in rank: the fighters would be judged on their tactical and strategic skills rather than solely on who killed who. Much like a wrestling match. Just because your opponent goes out of the ring doesn't mean their points from moves in the fight wouldn't compensate for them losing. In an exam with numerous people fighting: one would be judged on the amount of kills, the way they killed, the way they battled, how long they lasted before losing, etc. In a battle like the Shinin tournament: it depends solely on who killed who or who was closer to defeating the other. There are many different ways of determining. And no I haven't read the book yet. I think Hedoro and Shia may have though.
I need to train a few of my genin a little bit more before entering them. Wonder if I'll be able to before the exam starts. -ponders- I hope we have a chance to work in groups like the last Jounin exam. We had to fight one another so that our rpc could get a certain number of keys. All my rpc got to team up while they also got to fight one-on-one if I wanted. >:3 I didn't do too well though skill wise. v.v

Btw, if you're planning on taking an RP break, we should probably resolve our interaction in Leaf.
I still wonder if channeling the main character of the book series' memories, and thus "becoming" the prophecized owner of the blade wouldn't let Tsutae wield it like he did. But however the decision goes I shall be happy with a sword that becomes a lightsaber whenever I'm angry.

Tsutae may not have a Cursed Seal, a tailed demon, a summon or any other sort of God-power, but by God I have some things planned.

Damian | Gagged and chained together? No, no. That'd be one of Dizzy's exams. I wonder what the exams will be like. I'm so excited. whee
Duality | Mhm. I'm going to take a break after the exams. But when I do I'll be sure to do that if we're still rping together that is. Speaking of Hidden Leaf, I have to finish the post I started for there.
-thinks- Dame. I have to submit my Made Ups and training before the exams, don't I? -sighs- I'm too lazy for that though. D:

Oh god if we ever let Dizzy design an event.
I don't know why, but I was suddenly struck by inspiration while trying to think of three more madeups.
