Well. If it makes you feel any better, we've had mortars going off randomly. Stupid firecracker companies for having a 50% sale AFTER July 4th. stare
Oh yeah. Then there's our geniuses with TNT randomly exploding things.

We don't have so many firecrackers, but we have a nive aerial display every night. Still. Because despite fireworks being illegal in kentucky on any day that isn't a holiday, people still have and set them off. At least we don't have any more fiasco's like with my friend Brandy's uncle, who dropped the firework launcher so that it careened up the street parallel to the ground. That was scary

I can top that one, too!
I was at a bonfire at my neighbor's house and they threw 7 or 8 roman candles onto the fire. Their neighbor on the opposite side [we lived on one, and an old church obsessed lady lived on the other] was having a mini bonfire, too, with her church group.
Well, all of the roman candles shot all their shots at the neighbor's fire and house. xD
Church ladies + being shot at = RUN!
