I am working at the fair and I got 5 sunburn lines the first day for wearing two shirts, lol

I took over a hundred pictures of animals. I took so many pictures with my phone that it died.

There is a wallaby in the petting zoo. Those things are fast! I'm surprised it was even in there, the sign had super specific instructions on where to pet it and what parts to definitely not pet, so clearly it's a bit dangerous...

I decided not to pet it, since doctors around here know what to do about a chicken or goat bite, but would have no clue what shots I might need in the case of a wallaby bite.

I also learned that alpacas make a cute noise sometimes. It's a happy, soft noise one was making while it ate.

I totally get you with the photos. xD I love petting farms.

I went for a small walk yesterday and nearly a three hour hike today. My butt is sore. Lots of photos today and yesterday.

So... don't log onto Gaia for a month it turns out you miss a lot. (I apparently even missed two minor events?!) I have been spending some quality time with my best friend and her family, lately. We met when we were 8. She is married with three kids, and the older two (twin boys) just started pre-k two weeks ago. She, her sister-in-law, and I wanted to give them a great end-of-the-summer before they started school, so we have been doing crafts, nature walks, building blanket forts, playing hide-and-seek, etc., etc. We were secretly hoping that the educational value of the activities we picked would help get them a bit more ready for school. Hahaha- no. It has been a rough transition for them. *Sigh*

I made myself a beanbag for when I move into halls of residence and start University next week.
I've rediscovered my lack of talent and dislike of both sewing and the sewing machine.

decided to learn to knit properly.
Why is making a thumb hole for fingerless gloves so hard?!

Yea, a lot can happen. Though! I'd rather spend time with family than be online.

xD What did you use to stuff your bean bag? Speaking of sewing, I have a whack of cat toys that need to be done - this weekend, hopefully!

Good luck! I always found knitting challenging and I am secretly jealous of those who can do it. <3

I have finally finished my third essay for English. It's taken me months and I had to ask for an extension. Not very proud of myself, but I'm working through it. Now working on my third essay. Also reading this this.

Washed and vacuumed the car for the first time. It's so small, it's very easy. It's great having it and I'm glad we haven't lazed out and are still riding our bikes.

I also bought this beautiful tri coloured viola. $1.49! I also got two lilies on sale, 50% off. I bought some more potting soil and mushroom compost to set my plants up for winter. They all got either topped up with compost or potted into larger pots. My columbine that was going purple has changed back to green with the new compost. They're all doing well. I even found some volunteer woodruff! I transplanted it and it looked a bit rough, but I think it's going to pull through. I also collected some chamomile seeds from the sneaky little things. (I didn't realized they seeded themselves last fall and found a few scattered in my pots.)

The jays are also not afraid of me. They'll sit in the trees and squawk and I'll bring out food for them. I wasn't finished putting the food out and today a jay came and picked up some peanuts just a few feet from me. They're lovely.

And this turned out much longer than expected!

I just used those little polystyrene balls you get. Had some lying around the garage.

Are they toys for cats or cat shaped toys? P=

Cool! I had a bean bag chair as a kiddo and loved the heck out of it. :3

Cat toys are just rectangles. 1. I can't really sew so it's an easy shape for me and 2. they like the width, length as they can hold it with their front paws and kick at it with their back and 3. it's good pillow shape.

I made a list of things to do and got lots done yesterday. Hopefully I can stay on track and have a very productive weekend.

Finished my first glove for a set! I make a mock glove so technically this one is my second. ^^ it doesn't look half bad.

I think I have some kind of sinus infection of some sort. D:

My entire body has been itchy all day, and now I can't sleep because I can't stop scratching myself. I went over a list in my head and didn't eat, drink, wear or touch anything new or different yesterday, so I'm at a loss as to what is going on but it is super uncomfortable and just now has started to be painful.

Or, correction, I am wearing new nail polish, but over and under a protective clear coat, so I know it can't be affecting me like this.

And I woke up itchy this morning, so I know it can't have been caused by anything from today, which is good because I just got some new cheese and really don't want to be having a reaction to it and have to not eat the rest wink

After not wearing nail polish for years (after being a HUGE fan of it) I had a little girl put some on, and I couldn't wait to get it off. I wasn't itchy, but my nails felt really heavy and gross.

I have really dry skin right now that has made me super duper incredibly itchy. Could that be a reason?

Today I did a lot of things - I bought a $5 chair so that I can do some sewing which I managed to do - five cat toys in total. (Two for mine, three for the shelter.) I fixed my blanket. I mailed a present. I also got ALL my plants onto My Folia. Just have to update the photos which is a bit of a pain. The thumbnails are so small it's hard to see which is which when selecting the photo.

I also oiled my sewing machine's cabinet and dusted off the machine itself.

Also, soup. It's definitely a soup day.
