She sighed when once again her glass was snatched away. And here she'd really thought she had him there with the idea of a toast and what not. But alas, no and she was handed half a glass of wine that had become half when he drank it. Pouting would do her precisely no good and then she glared at Malik as he just had to comment as he walked by. Damn blueberry. She took the glass and nodded. "Accord then." Thus she took the glass and walked over to the table where Piper was, plopping down beside her. Apparently there was food and whatnot being brought out and besides Piper looked a little down. "I hear wine lifts your spirits, Piper. Have some of mine." Because now she just wasn't sure she wanted it. "Great party..."

Interrupted a Red Robed individual. "Please take no interest in the babblings of an insane mage that lost his understanding of magic, nd claims that science is the answer to all lifes questions."
"Science is the answer." Nuryll replied.
"Science does not explain why magic functions."
"ENTROPY!" Replied the black robed one.
"Once, he was a powerful wizard. Now look at him, a confused... thing."

Arthur light nodded as he listened to the little gnome speak about the captain of the Rapier and slowly started to pick at some food but he wanted to go and sit down for the First Brunch but he couldn't just leave the little guy there so he'll talk to the gnome some before he left.
"I love magic that revolves around nature, it makes the energy that is put into it more pure you know? But it's understandable why the druid may not want to go close to your machines, he might feel threatened by it in one way or the other and wouldn't want to touch anything. Though it's nice to see the generation that comes after interested in new technology, maybe one day she'll build that engine and you can look over it with her sometime to see how it all goes together eh? My family is a sort of well known family in honoursfeild, a bit of a royal family but not too royal, but luckily for them they live near the northwest so they are safe and sound as I hope they are. But man I can't believe what is happening to honoursfeild, I hope that everything stops soon so people can start rebuilding again." A small smile appeared on his face as he looked down at the little gnome. "Hey Trem I'm heading over to my table so I can get some of this brunch so if I see you around later we can talk okay? and trust me it was great to talk to you." With a small wave goodbye he left the little guy with a smile; Trem was entertaining that was for sure.
Slowly Arthur made his way back to his own table to see Piper and Zahara the only one's sitting there, with a small smile and a "Hey." He sat down a chair away from her and waited. "So how do you like it so far?" he asked the both of them.

Piper shrugged a little. "I've already had some thank you, I don't think Malik would be too happy if I had anymore." Watching after Malik a moment before her attention turned to Zahara who had plopped down a few moments earlier. "I suppose it is...should at least be happy that...we'll we're among others in this place and no one is trying to kill us...or maim us...or anything malicious really. So, best to look at it from that point of view." Though a raised eyebrow. "What happened to the good time you were having with Sevilin there?"Though a look to Arthur as he plopped down, but she still wasn't entirely pleased with him still. But she'd be civil. "It's okay."
Sevilin merely shook his head as she walked off with that glass and made her way over to Piper to apparently indulge in girl talk or something...but that wasn't his thing and well...who else did he have to hang around with? Well that meant the nearest wall for him to go lean against and look fancy.

Malik grinned lightly at them both.
"A once powerful wizard, dressed as a necromancer, who apparently is a firm beleif in scientific principle. alright then, Nuryll. here's a dilema for you. according to your science, once a body is dead, it is dead. nothing will bring it back into life. Yet, through necromantic magic, I can restore all the life functions to a body, and make it breath, bleed, move, see and even grow. If science is the answer, then scientifically explain how what necromancy can do is plausible if science states as a fact that unliving tissue can never be brought back into life."
This might prove a bit interesting. a small nod to the red robed one.
"I have a question for you, since you are more magically minded. What has become of Warren? last I saw him, he was barely able to move without assistance, weak and pitiful. now he can with a wave of his hand translocate my soulbound blade back across the water to my home."

She tapped her nails lightly against the table. "Well, he took my wine and then refused to let me have even one full glass. I have to ignore him for a little while and then I'll go back over there and flirt a bit and perhaps the good mood will return. Or maybe I'll just find a new dance partner."And at that moment Arthur decided to sit down. "It's quite an interesting experience really. Having fun yourself Arthur?" She glanced back over her shoulder and found Sevilin leaning against the wall looking for all the world like a dark lord perusing his domain before he laid down the law to them all. The image was startling even to her and she found herself without words. So picking up that half full glass she tossed down the wine and then sighed. There we go, back to the normal feelings.

I fyou wanted to clear some space at at a party, simply be a drow wit ha stern loo. The noramlly frightened noble folks will gladely leave you alone.
Save for the Green robed man with rather mad looking ambre eyes. "Why, hello there-" He puase to think of the names called out, and could not decide which one he was, so that is where he ended that part of the conversation. "You seem like a rich and capable fellow, want to help me restore the surface world so we can all get back on with our lives and be happen because food will be more common." The way he said food seemed off. "Maybe, if we re-alighned the sun with the moon, we could make the world more hospital. I moved a galaxy once, five hundred years ago. It left the surface world inhabitable for exactly one and half years, before the solar winds pushed a nebula in the way causing the poisons to come back." He sounded outright mad. Like the chershire cat. "Yes, we could get the surface world re-inhabitale, then we could dine on... food. Yes, food that is so yummy it will make us fat." His eyes seemed to turn inword and his face seemed to leer towards the elf Cedric, who happened to be the closet person to this spot.

Right when Arthur appeared at the table he felt some sort of uneasiness from Piper, as if she had something against him but what? The young elf wanted to know and maybe if he gotten some alone time with Piper he would talk to her about it. Though his attention shifted over to Zahara once he sat down and smiled just a little bit. "Well it was a bit more fun than I though it would be, got to talk to King Jiscal and even this little gnome named Trem; Trem is a good guy, speaks a little fast but he's pretty nice." It seems Arthur has now taken a shining to the little people knows as the gnomes, as the smile on his face can tell anybody that. "So what you two have been doing?" He asked Piper and Zahara with a light smile.

Nuryll looked at Malik "Entropy lets you do it because the energies you fill in it can flow through the flesh like water flowing upstream."
"That doesn't make any sense. Nuryll only thinks about science because he does not remember being a mage, nor does he really think about science. He simply likes to say Entropy." The red robed one replied.
"Warren? The red-robbed half elf? He's a mage? I didn't know that... I though he just agreed with my sense of fasion." Replied the Red one. "Pitful really, how could he ever expect to understand magic. Why even bother, he's only a half elf... Hey, you seem to know the players around here... Who else is suposidely a good mage or wizard?" He asked, honestly.

He was in the midst of a game of some sorts. Well it wasn't a game, more of a frustrating series of actions that was keeping a certain furry creature out of trouble, and from skittering across the floor to steal random shiny round objects from others in the room. Ended up with a runic leash of sorts. But other than they...well he merely kept watching those in the room. After all, might as well catalog away something good to reverie...those were in short supply.
"We both shouldn't be drinking anyway...I suppose getting half a glass would be a favor now wouldn't it?" But then a smile at Zahara. "Well I'm sure there's no shortage of those in this place. You could get anyone you wanted if you felt the need to." Said with somewhat of a playful giggle before she sobered with a sigh and looked back to Arthur. "Sitting."

"Even half-elves can have powerful magic in thier veins. luck of birth, really. as for other powerful mages...the other drow there, agasint the wall. he's a powerful mage, particularly of an art that is uncommon to this plane. the drow over there.." gestureing to Zahara, "..Is also an accomplished priestess and mage. I am an accomplished Shadowknight. if your unfamiliar with the term, it means I am an expert in warfare and Necromancy. the opposite of a paladin, you can say."
then back to Nuryll.
"I see. If your so big on this energy force, Entropy...woudl you object to becoming pure energy in the form of an Essence Emerald?"

"Please do not hurt my pet." The red robed man said. "He may be stupid, and useless right now, but he does have his good points. He will press the buttons I want him to, even if it means he might die. It's really quite useful in an associate." He smiled very wickedly.
"Essence Emerald? You still use those?" An odd question given the source.
"Don't be Quiet and never sit down at our table." The Red one said, which got the black one to shut up and walk over to the table, where only a white robed man sat, and sit down. "Blood magic is pitiful. It never has the potency of true magic. I know of Shadow Knights. At one time there was an order of them here, but they faded away with the sun." emories of the sun still exista fter all, why not shadow knights. "What could he possibly know about magic that I do not?" The red robed one asked rather bluntly, "How could he understand magic, being a lowly drow elf."

"Dancing mostly. I haven't really been doing anything else since we've just gotten here." She shifted slightly in her chair, turning sideways and crossing her legs and glancing over at the others around the room. "True, I could very easily get any man here but none of them are really appealing. The King isn't half bad looking but I do believe he's taken. More's the pity really, a man in power is so attractive." She sighed long sufferingly for a moment and then leaned one elbow on the table and plopped her chin in her hand. "I'm glad you've been having a great time Arthur. Someone certainly should."

That got a look from Malik.
"Drow know more about magic than you would, human."
A small crossing of his arms.
"Not only do we know it, master it at a younger age than most you humans do, but we never forget a spell or incantation. and he comes from a plane where a particular brand of magic exists. he coudl bring down this plane if he saw fit, and with the same amount of effort that you woudl use writing your name."
Okay, little red robed human was going to get hurt if he kept that line of thought up.

Arthur paused and looked at the two elves sitting at the table with him, one seems to be having a good time while the other is bored right out of her own mind. Seems like he should do something but what? Maybe he should ask on of them to dance with him to lighten up thier moods a little bit. "Well..." he said and paused for a moment as he looked back and forth between the two elves. "Do any of you girls like to dance with me?" He asked with a small smile as he leaned back in his chair, it never hurt to ask someone if they are free at the moment.
