I'm trying to figure out how the seperatist commandos could use repulsorlift skates on Jabiim, a planet whos atmosphere disrupts repulsorlift technology...

Only the Jabiim I suppose know how to defeat that effect. Its never explained to me but thats what they said in Wookieepedia

It doesn't matter. Its just that the planet is plagued with electric storms, which short out the repulsorlift systems.

Which is one of the many reasons why the AT walker series gained so much favor in the empire, because it didn't have the limitations of the repulsorlift vehicles. nothing magnetic (well, planetarywise) or electric could stop the walkers.

Its wikipedia. Nothing really to be ashamed about. Its more reliable than theforce.net, which told me the plans in Episode II were not spherical shaped, nor were they the plans for the death star.

Turns out I was right all along.

I know the feeling Nelo, procrastination is your friend. Well, I'm feeling rather Star Wars-y. Watching all the movies and the Clone Wars DVD I have, then playing some of the games all day, does that to a guy. Perhaps it's time to get off my butt and actually join a roleplay.

I watched an episode of Star Trek: The Next Generation today.

Even though I'm a fan of both, I am now completely convinced ST would whup SW's a** if they went to war.

The Force can only effect those within the SW universe, who are from it. Thus, a single officer from ST stranded on say, Korriban, against 500 Sith Lords using Force Lightning, would not be effected at all. Add to that, the shielding they have in ST makes lasers useless, and a lightsaber is just a controlled laser. Also, a phaser would either obliterate a lightsaber blade, or be undeflectable.

It takes SW a whole fleet several hours to devaste a whole planet. ST can do it with 1 ship in about 10 minutes.

Adventure Quest was weird. I FINALLY got the chance to log in again after like 1 1/2 months of it always being maxed out in logged in accounts at one time. It's like they changed the entire game on me almost, and I got lost and only repeated the same crap with killing something then quitting. Maple Story's better anyways.

So, I kinda jacked this idea from TF.N but i think it would be a weird but cool RP idea.

Anyway, its a U.S. Clone Wars.

Okay, so you've got the U.S. of A and there's some slight unrest in heavy counsumer states, eg. California, Nevada, etc. Major corporations, Wal Mart, Microsoft, Apple, Starbucks, Oprah break of and found the Confederation of Independent Economies.

Now you've got war. Naturally,s ome states will favor the CIE and they'll take out a chunk of the USA.

CIE states grab the National Guard and some members of the Army/Navy/Air Force and you've got yourself the Clone Wars.

And to top it off, the president during this time could be the Palpatine.
