*As Nana continued talking with Thanatos, elsewhere in the citadel about two blocks from Zenogais, there was something odd going on with the side of one of the buildings. He'd probably be able to spot it from where ever he was, assuming that Zenogais was still playing the part of a gargoyle on tall rooftops. The side of said building had been in shadow, but now it seemed pitch black and blue. The darkness would move forward until it appeared to be a sphere, cut straight down the middle, the colors being red and yellow, in an odd pattern. Nothing else would appear, just the half sphere. Turning toward Zenogais' view the sphere would start floating down the street. If it had turned away, then Zenogais would have lost sight of it, and no doubt his sensors would have lost it too. There seemed to be no sound eminating from it*

*Than just smiled at the comment, meant to keep his spirit up* Then I'm glad I can be so amiable ^^ Hnnn..... So... other than Xol kidnapping you, how have you been? I heard you had a less than agreeable encounter with Orias-san and Tyr-san some time ago..... Among other things sweatdrop
Zeno: Hmm? *Whatever it was had finally dragged his attention away from the seemingly captivating horizon. This was Zeno's first self encounter with the odd creature*... this thing? *The floating eye was something he instantly despised..... distasteful memories were brought back by its appearance. Zeno himself would test thing's awareness. Zeno descended the tower quietly, closing in the creature's position. Zeno himself would fade from view as he did so, activating his camouflage functions*

Ah, it seems almost like yesterday... It was shortly after I had met your friend, Kaiori. Tyrsais had come to speak with me, and soon after Orias appeared. Neither had apperantly seen eachother before, so they began to fight. I had burnt my hand a bit before Orias had shown up. At the time I was trying to return something to one of my friends. I'm sure you'd know him, he goes by the name Twilight.
*The entire incident revolved around Zenogais attacking Twilight when Nana was trying to speak with him in Enid. Nana had retrieved Twilight's sword, taken by Zenogais, and was going to return it to him. Along the way, Nana had her first encounter with Omega, whom chased her. Eventually that led to Nana meeting Kaiori, and then Tyrsias came shortly after. Being startled, Nana had cast a fire spell but was unable to stop it once she saw it was Tyrsias and not Omega who was near. Closing her hand around the spell, Nana's hand was burnt for a while. After that she finally got to the dojo, and left Twilight's sword with Axl, his adopted son. Through a strange turn of events, Twilight would be Thanatos' stepfather if he and Aeris were ever to officially wed. Then that would make them family, how odd*

*The half sphere, the eye of this creature was all that was physical and visitble for now, but only from the front and from the sides. Any further and it would appear to vanish, even if it was right infront of you. The red and yellow sphere would silently glide around a corner and continue on down the maze of streets. It didn't seem to be in a hurry and would occassionally stop to observe things on the street, like garbage cans and other random items*

Zeno: Hmm... *Zeno, by the time the creature had stopped to examine another set of random objects, would be only a few meters from the creature. Truthfully, he was circling it, noting how it was only visible from certain perspectives. He was recording everything he possibly could on the creatures stats and behavior*....
*Than nodded. He had indeed heard how Kaiori had been in the citadel during his absence. It was unfortunate that he couldn't have spoken to her then. Kaiori had changed a great deal since she and Than were last able to meet pleasurably, and that's what pained Thanatos..... he feared seeing her again for she may not have been the same person. Still, it was Kaiori herself who'd helped instill the devotion Thanatos held to his companions. Even if she was changed, he would not toss aside his compassion for her* I heard about how Kaiori-chan was here while I was away...... just my luck. *He sighed heavily* I would probably give near anything that I could do without just to be able to speak with her and be with her for five minutes. *He nodded* That aside... I know what happened afterwards. It would seem that Tyr-san and Orias-san left the citadel for fear of being reprimanded...... they found me in doing so *That should be news to Nana*
Hai.... I know him..... a little better than some I would say. Truthfully, I was the one who used magic to bring him back to life. *Again, that should be even more news to Nana*

*There wasn't any agressive tendencies to speak of for the moment. A can was knocked over by an unseen force, then shortly after righted again. It seemed that the creature was studying its surroundings, and the objects in it. It hadn't yet engaged anyone in the citadel, it didn't have a reason yet. If Zenogais' presense was known, the creature didn't make it appearent and just continued doing as it pleased. Zenogais' sensors woul probably detect that the "eye" was giving off a slight temperature difference then its surroundings. Until the full form of this mystery creature was seen, no good stats would be recovered*

*Nana appeared a little confused about why Tyrsais and Orias would be reprimanded for battling eachother, when both thought the other was intruding on the citadel. Nana hadn't been made aware, that both thought they had killed her, when the building she had been in had collapsed. Durring the fight, Nana had opened a travel portal and gone to the west end of the citadel, so that she could leave and return Twilight's sword. Orias and Tyrsias however were unaware of her departure*

Reprimanded? For fighting eachother? Hn-- what? It was you who brought Twilight back?

Hnn, then you have some of your father's talents I guess.
*More or less, the statment refured to how Mastema had brought Zenogais back from death on more than one occassion. Such evens were before her time with Mastema and the citadel however. Nana had never known Zenogais when he was alive, as Knife Edge. But he was there now, even if still if it was only his soul attached to a metal body. Yet Thanatos had managed to put Twilight's soul back into his own body, or rather a new one constructed up on the Harvestor. The boy did indeed share a few talents passed onto him by Mastema*

Zeno: *Zeno already knew that he probably wasn't getting a full view of what this thing was. The rest of its body was hidden from his types of sensors. To be able to see them, he would need to know how to calibrate his other sensors. But to know that, he would need to know just what kind of creature this was and what its structure was* Hmm....
*Thanatos shook his head* I believe they thought they did something bad by causing the building to collapse. Perhaps they thought something had happened to you and feared getting punished for it. If you really did get hurt, I should think that Otosan would indeed have two cents to put in on the matter. *He smiled a little, and then blushed at the compliment. Truthfully, he didn't much like being compared to Mastema, wanting to be recognized for his accomplishments and not what he could achieve because he was someone's son. However, he didn't hold that against Nana. She was complimenting his actions and he felt gratification in it*
Hai. I helped if nothing else. I revived his body and made it well again, then his soul could just reinhabit it. Of course, it was a new body really. My mot-- my "biological" mother has access to a lot of technology that could easily rival what you find here in the citadel. Using some of it, she was able to essentially engineer a new body for Twilight based on past data. I just made it possible for his spirit to attach to it. It's similar to what Zenogais went through... but Zenogais was giving a combat model, automaton body. *He chuckled* I guess I do take on some bigger feats than I should, but it's still nothing compared to what I've seen Otosan do.
*he realized he was rambing rather quickly* Oh... I'm sorry ^^; I didn't mean to go on like that. What was I talking about before? Oh right... Tyr-san and Orias-san. Well.... I'm not sure really what happened to make them leave.... but somehow they ended up with me. I guess I owe more to that than I'm showing..... if it weren't for them, I'm quite sure I wouldn't be alive right now....

*Not once had the creature shown its full form yet. Whether that was because it didn't want to, or whether the conditions weren't favorable was unknown. Still the case remained however, that the full form of the creature remained hidden. Slayer and Albert had seen more of the shadowy being, than anyone else so far since its arrival inside of the barrier. That could very well change in the near future however, and then they could get all the information they wanted to. The creature continued to float along, examining this and that as it moved about*

*Nana had done a great deal of nodding since the conversation had started, and now would be no different as Nana would again nod lightly as she listened to Thanatos. It bothered Nana slightly when Thanatos had said a new body, the first thing that came to mind was cloning, and gene splicing. Those where things looked down upon, and sadly Twilight was a little of both now. Past DNA to construct a new body, and spliced with a horse for reasons.... well, that only Aeris could enjoy*

Zeno: *Having enough of just watching, Zeno wanted to test more of its exposure to the unknown. Back and forth, Zeno would move around the area in front of the thing. Every so oftehn, there would be a light flash, indicating that someone or something was there to the creature. Zeno wanted to see how it would react to such an odd phenomenon*
*He nodded* I suppose I should properly thank them sometimes..... although I believe Tyr-san really needs to work on his social skills. He's not made good friends with a lot of people, and he certainly hasn't made himself look that respectable in my eyes. Still... he has his merits. *Than took another breath* I also owe a lot to Proto for coming when he did. I'm still not sure just how he knew I was in trouble, since I was well out of citadel sensor range.... *He thought for a moment* Anyway.... somehow he knew I needed help, showed up, and dug me out of some trouble ^^;.... literally. *he went off into thought again, not really carrying on*

*Noticing the flash after a second or two, the sphere would turn to face the direction to get a better look. After a brief moment of staring at the flashes, the circles of yellow in the sphere shrink a little, and the half sphere starts to float backward away from the flashing and would soon disappear around a corner of a building. It appeared to be a negative reaction to what Zenogais was doing. Whether or not the creature would still be around the corner of the building when Zenogais got there was undetermined at this point*

*Thanatos had spoken to Nana before about how Proto thought, he was evolving. That might have had something to do with Proto coming to Thanatos' rescue, but it couldn't be known for certain unless Proto was asked*

Goodness me... Hnn, it makes me glad that I found Proto then. Proto has helped you and has continued to be able to help you. I'm glad for that, and for the fact that Proto is here with us now. Proto is more than a machine, more than the sum of its parts, and I want everyone to know that.

Than: *He nodded* I know. I knew he was developing some kind of spatial awareness, but to have him show up when he did surpassed anything I expected. Hmm.... perhaps if he'll let me, I'll see if I can find out just how well he can use it. *He smiled* Of course I wouldn't do it for any reason other than to understand him better. *Than nodded* I have to agree with you. Whatever he was to start with... he's becoming something more over time. I certainly can't find myself thinking that he's just another android.... helped me too many time to be something so rudimentary.
*Thanatos thought for a moment again about how much Proto had helped himself and the children. Then, Thanatos thought of something which he might be able to do to help out Nana even a little* Hnn... Nana >>.... You've been recovering for a while now, and I'm sure it's gotten in the way of your lessons with my siblings. So if you'd like..... I... could sort of tutor maybe a review lesson of some kind. Even if I just go back over with them what you've taught them, I'm sure it'll be easier once you're well enough to teach them again. So, if you'll allow me, I'd be happy to help teach or review anything you want me to with them ^^ *It was a rather generous offer for Than to take off his own time to help make up for what Nana had missed*

*Once Zenogais rounded the corner of the building, he'd find little to no trace of the creature. It appeared as if he had frightened it off, it had retreated again to some other random location in the citadel. Perhaps this time it would stay hidden a little while longer, as it had received quite a bit of attention from unknown forms of life other than its own*

You would be willing to do that? Hnn... The thought did occure to me that they might not have had a lesson for quite some time. If-- If I hadn't been kidnapped, they would have had at least two lessons by now. Hnn... perhaps a review would be ideal. They have learned quite a bit since the first lesson...
*Nana would have to go over the things she had taught to the children, with Thanatos if he was to give them a review. Hopefully what they had learned would not be lost on them, after such a long period of doing nothing but rest or play*

*Thanatos nodded happily at her question* Hai ^^ I would be more than happy to tutor them for a while. I'm sure I wouldn't have the same temperant as you, but I think I can handle it. *He nodded* A review of everything they've already learned should be easy enough. Depending on what your other planned lessons were, I may be able to do those as well, so when you do return, you'll just have to review with them. ^^ It's the least I can do to make up for my absence... and it'll take a little weight off of you I hope. You can think about it for a bit and then tell me later what you want me to review with them, or what new lesson if any to teach. You can have Zio send me a lesson plan of some kind, or just get Zio to call me up here. *Thanatos seemed all too happy at the prospect of doing something with his siblings and something to help Nana*

Hnn... All right, I think I'll do that. I'll send a message to you through Zio, a little later then. Hmm... yes that should work. I'm sure they'll be happy to spend more time with you, I just hope they remember how they're to behave when being taught something new.
*Nana was starting to get a little tired again. After something quick to eat or drink, Nana would probably go to sleep again, and draw up a review plan and lesson once she woke up sometime later. Thanatos would probably be able to see Nana's warry state kicking in again. Her hand movements were becoming a little weak again too. She'd fall asleep very soon, to gain a little energy so she could send the lesson information to Thanatos later*

I'm patient and I can keep them in line long enough for a lesson. *Thanatos did notice that Nana seemed to be having more trouble staying awake. Than just sighed at himself, for not realizing Nana must've been getting wary of his talk* Hnn..... I can see you're getting sleepy again. I'm sorry if all my talking took your energy away *He chuckled a little and placed his hand in Nana's once again, just for a moment* I should go check on my siblings again, so you can get your rest *Thanatos stood up from the bed, Than lightly bowed to Nana and smiled at her* ^_^ You just send over the message whenever you're ready. I don't plan to leave for a while........ and I'm really glad I got to speak with you again. I hope you get a good rest.... and hope you'll get well soon.

*At present, Nana probably wouldn't last for any more than another minute or so. She would probably be asleep before Thanatos got upstairs to go and see Mastema, since it was likely he would go back down to check on his siblings at least one more time*
