Ah, yes, i boffed for about 5 years. i still do it whenever i can, but now i teach other people HOW to do so. Boffing is a great way to practice. But me and my cousin, whome was the first person i really began practicing with (And who is getting quite good), usually use shinai's now, and me and a friend of mine, Austin, completely wrecked our less-than-great quality katana's about 2 weeks ago sparring...semi-carefully... It's a great pastime, and whenever my parents aren't around i'll go down to my living room, or my backyard depending on the exercises and forms i want to do.

Daft, you boffer too? Yeah, I enjoy it. My older brother introduced me to it about last year. He's been doing it for a while but not as big of sessions with his buddies and whatnot scince like a year and a half or longer. But anyway, I'm getting really good, but he's still way better than me or anyone in his group.

The group i was in disentigrated after i left for washington. Just a bunch of friends and such. I've been learning and teaching mostly Iado and Kendo-style forms, mostly the basics with my own self-helped spins. I have never taken formal lessons for it in my life. but i spent many years in the martial arts.
