Anastasius Focht *goes to do what hidjie doesn't seem to be able to do..... walk into the citadel* I wasn't trying to walk into the citadel...if I was trying to do that I would done what you're doing right now...walked up to the citadel.

Mastema gave me weapon strength, energy output, shield density, shield displacement/fire, recharge rate on his cannons, and he never even realized it. While he...he got nothing from me.

Hidjie Mastema tee hee ^^ In most cases true. But ask any veteran members and they will tell you that Mas bides his times for months if necessary. Right now his main focus is Than. ^^ He may show a sensitive side to Nana, doesn't mean he's going to drop 25,000+ years of hatred and imprisonment just cause he's got someone to call his own. Awwww...daddy being compassionate to his son? stressed that's a load of crock...the only reason I could see you being nice to someone is if it furthered your own gain. Now I know the whole deal about how if you take Thanatos' shackles off he's some sorta super, unbeatable, god child... stare and I'm god of the sun and stars. Thanatos has had his shackles off for at least a month >> He does have a large reserve of power but it's pretty useless since the boy doesn't really intend to fight with it. Quite a few have brought down Than one way or another when he does lose it. And yes.... Mastema is often compassionate when it furthers his own gain ^^ But what his real goal is goes much deeper than using Than as some massive power source.... though it's possible to do so.

You got a simple cannon blast xp Mas was also experimenting to see whether Hid could block it or not. ^^ Trust me.... an analysis of a single cannon blast won't prepare you for the other defenses around.
