He had no problem with keeping Vivillion for now. He would have to stop by a PC however to stash one of his Pokémon, however, which reminded him. Perhaps after class, he’d give a call to someone to see about getting some other things for his dorm room if he was in fact going to stay around for the long haul. As he would have Vivillion flutter back over towards him, Tristen would carry on a conversation with Vivillion as he finished off his breakfast. Vivillion was talkative, excited even, couldn’t help but too flutter about Tristen, overjoyed over how it could fly now. Tristen couldn’t help but to laugh a little, even tired as he was, over Vivillion’s excitement. Tristen had one of its friends back, it was flying. It was on cloud nine.
After some more time, Tristen would check his own SNAG and it was getting close to time where he needed to get going as well. Cleaning up his spot, he would recall Vivillion back to the Premier Ball and stashed it for the time being, only long enough to get to a PC. Once he left the cafeteria, he made his way downstairs. He’d access a PC, and started to think as to which Pokémon to stash for the time being. As far as what he could figure, the small ones, Sprigatito, Litten, Wimpod, and Rookidee were staying, if only to try to find some sort of opportunity to train them a bit. That effectively left Espeon and Weavile. Tristen thought for a moment then had a realization that he hasn’t really spent a whole lot of time with Weavile either. Not like what he had with most of his others, anyways. With a little bit of reluctance, he would stash Espeon for the time being. With five of his Pokémon plus Vivillion set, he would then make his way off for the first class of the day: Ms. Tyme’s math class.
Hopefully the lack of sleep wasn’t going to be that much of a bother today…

Walking into math Tristen would find the place partially filled with both Nemona and Penny already in attendance. Upon spotting him Nemona would shout and wave Tristen over. However Ms. Tyme would clear he throat loudly, as if to tell Nemona to settle down, the woman still getting things ready for class before the bell rang. Nemona of course would do so and bow her head a bit as an apology. Once Tristen arrived at his seat near them Nemona would speak. "Hey Tristen! What are you doing after class today!?" Nemona asked excitedly, only for Penny to step in pull Nemona back into her seat by her shoulder.
"Calm down, Nemona. There is still plenty of time for you and Tristen to battle again one day. Tristen will let you know when he feels like it, I'm sure." Penny said as she sat down with a sigh, Nemona pouting as she slouched in her chair. "Any who, I got a text from Fela awhile ago, you found Vivillon? Good job." Penny complimented Tristen for finding the butterfly, Nemona perking up at this comment only for Penny to grumble. "No, Nemona, it's not for Pokemon battles." She said, already knowing where Nemona was going with this.

As Tristen made his way into the class room, it didn’t take much convincing to make his way over towards Nemona and Penny and finding a seat close by to them. He’d start getting his supplies out, only to hesitate taking the next item immediately when Nemona was quick to ask for a battle. Tristen would nervously laugh, and it was putting him in a awkward spot where he ended up getting out of one battle because of Team Star over a couple of weeks ago and then he ended up denying her of a battle last night with Matteo to help clear the air and be able to start again with him. “Sorry, not really meaning to keep getting out of Pokémon battles with you, but a lot has been going on after all.” Tristen said to her. “Like the homework I have been getting…I tried to do some of Mr. Hassell’s assignment yesterday; I really need to learn how to draw better, though.” Tristen mused.
Tristen then looked over towards Penny, nodding, taking out the Premier Ball to show it off for a second before stashing the ball for a second. “Yep, stayed up until Midnight last night to get Vivillion back. Vivillion was trying to look for me the entire time for the past couple of days where I wasn’t here. Though because I stayed up, today is probably gonna suck…I am tired.” Tristen said, resuming back to getting his school materials out. “Hopefully today won’t be too bad. One of the periods is homeroom so there shouldn’t be anything going on there, right?”

Nemona sighed dejectedly in response to Tristen and yet had an understanding look before confirming for the boy verbally that it was okay. "I get it, I just really get carried away with Pokemon battles some times. They are my passion." Nemona said, Penny quick to interject with a 'You think!?' with Nemona just laughing it off. It was hard for Nemona to be truly upset at pretty much anything, at least nothing a Pokemon battle couldn't fix.
Upon seeing the Premier Ball Penny would commend Tristen for retrieving the Vivillon. "Oh wow, you must have really left an impact on that Pokemon to have it return to your window looking for you. That's really neat." She commented. Before the girl could say much else the bell rang causing both girls to turn forward in their seats as they awaited Ms. Tyme to speak, the teacher already in motion to close the door and begin class.
"Good morning class." She said as she walked back to her desk after closing said door. "Nice to have you back, Mr. Tristen." The woman said as she smiled at Tristen, having noticed him before but apparently wanted to point out his return to the entire class, likely to just be nice. "Today we will be discussing Power Points or PP, or rather the math revolving around. Power Points are the man-made system we use to measure how much energy it takes a Pokemon to use certain moves and how many times they can use said moves within a twenty-four hour window or before they require healing again. Now as some of you may have learned in Mr. Jacq's class this system is not concrete and only applies on average, some Pokemon can use more moves than the system claims, the PP system only created to give trainers an idea on how far they should push their Pokemon. We won't get too deep into the history and particulars of PP but we will be using it for our math lesson today all the same. Now then..."
Ms. Tyme would give a rough explanation on PP before getting into the heart of today's lesson which underneath it all was simple math but in the form of word problems involving Pokemon, their moves, and their PP. Such things as if a Magikarp's Tackle had 35 PP and it used it X times. Or if a Fidough's Bite had 40 PP how many PP Ups were used. Things such as that, where not all the information provided was relevant. After giving a few verbal questions and calling on students to answer, with Tristen being called out for one of them, Ms. Tyme would pass out work packets containing more of these questions which they were expected to work on for the remainder of the period, or at least as much as they could. For Tristen there was plenty of time no doubt to do them all.
In time an hour would go by and the bell would ring, Ms. Tyme asking for everyone to put their packets in the basket on her desk on their way out of her classroom. Nemona would be one of the first out, rushing as always, while Penny straggled far behind Tristen. Eventually Tristen would be out in the busy hallways again on his way to his next class.

Tristen stared in confusion for a second as Ms. Tyme went on about the math with Pokémon. Tristen had to admit that in his entire time that he has been Pokémon, he has never once heard about ‘Power Points’ and the class that Ms. Tyme alluded to, in regards to Mr. Jacq’s science class, was more than likely he ended up not attending, rather it was because he hadn’t been enrolled here or perhaps it was a lesson from the past couple of weeks while he was gone. Tristen had to admit that doubt set in about what this ‘PP’ is, and almost compelled to ask his adoptive father at one point or another if that was in fact a thing and just how relevant it is because he has never once heard of it as long as he has been Pokémon battling. The Manetric teen had to admit he was…possibly slightly embarrassed for never hearing about this, being skilled in Pokémon battling as he was. He went on to take notes on the lesson, then once he received the work packet, started to go through the problems within them.
Tristen was trying to stay focused on the assignment as best as he could, the lack of sleep was still wanting to do battle with Tristen’s desire to stay conscious and will to finish the packet. Fortunately, the latter won out. The bell wouldn’t have came soon enough and Tristen would proceed to stash his things and despite his struggling, he still made it out of the classroom well before Penny. As he walked down the halls, he couldn’t help but to make a long winded yawn. He was honestly struggling still; needing a shot of energy somewhere. He might have to hit up sodas this afternoon for lunch at this rate just to make it through the day. He only wondered with as many times he had to be shorted sleep at Snagem he’d be sort of used to this, but apparently not. He couldn’t help but to recall the many times his father reminisced about going to bed late, up early to work the gym, go to class, followed by homework, then more gym work as he was growing up as the apprentice of the Mahogany gym. It was there that Tristen realized…Mr. Pryce was probably a sociopath. He wouldn’t say that to his adoptive father, however.
It wasn’t long until Tristen found his way through the halls and into Mr. Salvatore’s class room for Languages class.

This time Tristen arrived at Mr. Salvatore's class fairly let, no doubt unaware how long he took to get there thanks to how tired he was. When he walked in he would spot Matteo grumbling in his desk, the source of his displeasure very clear as Gloria stood over him, Lechonk in her arms, no doubt bothering Matteo with nonsense. Tristen's seat wouldn't be too far away from Matteo's own and as he sat down he immediately heard a bit of what Gloria was going on about.
"I'm just saying, Fire Stones aren't that expensive. Heck! I'll buy you one!" Gloria said with a giggle. It was clear she was trying to provoke Matteo into evolving early, to go against his family's tradition. Why she was Tristen would have no idea but it was obviously not for benevolent reasons, it was just a way to get under Matteo's skin like she enjoys doing.
"I told you already, I-" Before Matteo could finish his sentence Gloria cut him off as she spotted Tristen.
"Oh hey! Look Matteo! It's the school's strongest hybrid, Tristen! Hi Tristen!" She said in an almost singsong voice, obviously trying to rub Matteo's nose into a certain topic, her Lechonk giving out a snort-like laugh. "Good to see you again, Big T. The school was empty without your celebrity to grace it." She giggled.

The school was empty without your celebrity to grace it." She giggled. Truthfully, Tristen almost forgot about Gloria in this whole string of classes. She kept pretty down-low during Mr. Sanguaro’s class yesterday, only for her to turn around and decide to antagonize Matteo for the most part when she decided to deign someone her presence, much to her target’s chagrin. Though, Tristen had to question how she values her chances to try to antagonize the ‘school’s strongest hybrid’ suddenly. And with aforementioned hybrid short on sleep, he was definitely not in any sort of mood. “Last I heard, the school was functioning just fine without my celebrity being around, just as how no one missed your condescending self yesterday during home ec.” Tristen said in a tone, where it’d sound like his usual pleasant self, but it only hid a tranquil fury ready to be unleashed. “Where were you? Wallowing in mud with your fellow swine? You know, it doesn’t matter, you’re back here to make fun of whoever isn’t part of your little pig pen because you want to be in some sort of delusion that you’re better than basically everyone else, when all you actually accomplish is being at least one of many reasons why Team Star existed to begin with. Never mind that you want to drag the ‘school’s strongest hybrid’ as you so aptly call him into your jeering, just to continue making fun of another, the other that he’d call a friend no less, which I’d think many would call you an idiot for playing with electricity like that. But I suppose the teachers can’t teach those who are incapable of learning, let alone wanting to be better, can they?” Tristen said, his tone still unchanging, but his facial emotion slowly went into a glare that defied Gloria to try something and while he didn’t have that intimidating electrical aura that was his mega evolved state, it probably could very easily be imagined right about now. Did anyone mention that Tristen was lacking sleep right about now?

Gloria let out a small gasp as Tristen went off on her, Matteo's jaw dropping in response as well. Both of them would be stunned silent, Matteo out of pleasant surprise and Gloria out of rage fueled shock. Matteo's shocked expression would turn to one of bemusement while Gloria's face got increasingly redder, her Lechonk looking up at her with concern for her trainer. Gloria would open her mouth to say something only for the teacher to interrupt. "Gloria, take a seat, s'il te plait. Also, recall your Lechonk. Class will begin soon." Mr. Salvatore would say as he entered the room, glancing to the clock as he did and noted what time it was. Gloria would grumble slightly as she looked towards the teacher, walking back over to her desk but not before shooting Tristen an ugly look.
Once Gloria was gone Matteo would turn to Tristen who sat near him and leaned in to whisper. "Thank you. That was amazing." He whispered to Tristen, a huge smile remaining on his face once he pulled back and sat up straight, the bell ringing as he did. That was probably one of the few times Tristen had so far seen Matteo legitimately smile.
Mr. Salvatore would declare class began and inform everyone that today they would be having more Kalosian lessons, apparently having several other sessions while Tristen was gone. Mr. Salvatore would acknowledge the issue with Tristen before the boy could even think about it and informed Tristen he had a folder of make up work for the boy, no doubt concerning the Kalosian language. For now today they were focusing on simple Kalosian phrases, things that you would need to know if you visited Kalos and wanted to speak the local language. Things such as 'where is the restroom' and 'how much do I owe you' and so forth. Tristen had been here for one session of Kalosian class but apparently they advanced since he had been gone. Fortunately for Tristen class today was largely just a lecture with the teacher calling on anyone but him to answer his questions on how to say things, no real work for Tristen other than to pay attention. The real work would be given to him after class.
Once language class was over Mr. Salvatore would catch Tristen on his way out and hand him the promised folder, finding a cute little Alolan Raichu sticker on the front. While there were several pages of work in the thing it wasn't too overloaded and Mr. Salvatore offered Tristen a Kalosian Language textbook to take too if he wanted it as well as an offer to come in after school for tutoring. All to help him get caught back up.
With that class done though it was time for Tristen to take a break and eat lunch. Matteo having already left the room before Tristen was freed.

SubonicXP With that class done though it was time for Tristen to take a break and eat lunch. Matteo having already left the room before Tristen was freed. Tristen couldn’t help but to laugh a little bit to himself. The second time now that he can recall that Gloria had been caught out like that, though as was aptly touched on, it wasn’t as if she learned her lesson the last time. Getting that bit of validation from Matteo and the smile that it put on his face made it all the more worth it, incidentally. Tristen was after all saying what he was out to be a friend, and he was. And if Gloria wanted to be insufferable, then she was going to find out after messing around. Tristen ended up having to take a breath, because he needed to be better as well and not let it affect what little focus he had for the lesson today. It started to dawn on Tristen that just because he wouldn’t be penalized for missing the past couple of weeks, it wasn’t going to matter if the subject matter was still relevant for the class at hand. He would pay close attention to the class, trying to piece together what he could from the lesson. Fortunately, Mr. Salvatore was willing to help Tristen out and had thought ahead on the issue, giving him a bit of things to work on over time and if need be to meet back up with Mr. Salvatore for tutoring. Fortunately for Tristen, he also had at least three people in Snagem that he could maybe call upon if push came to shove. Tristen would certainly take him upon that…though he had to admit he wasn’t sure if that was going to be today or not. Hopefully Mr. Salvatore would understand… Once the language class was over, Tristen had to force himself to get up out of his desk because he ended up getting a bit more comfortable than he cared to in the school desk. He definitely needed a pick-me-up somewhere. Once he received the folder, he’d give his thanks to Mr. Salvatore, then start making his way off, albeit a little warily to the lunchroom.

Tristen would arrive at the cafeteria like usual, making his way into and through the line like usual, greet and receive his lunch from Ms. Picante like usual, and once he had his tray of food in hand he would no doubt seek out and find his friend group at their usual table. "Hey Tristen!" Fela said happily as she waved at the hybrid as he approached the table.
Upon arriving at the table he'd find E. and B. messing with Matteo as they do, carrying on about some cartoon they watched last night. As far as Tristen could discern Matteo watched it too but was trying to play it off like he didn't and only knew things about it because he 'heard about it' from someone or somewhere. He was too cool for children's cartoons after all. "Hey Teetee!" Both E. and B. greeted Tristen in unison once they too notice of him. Teetee? And they said it together? Did they talk and devise that nickname for him?
"I'm telling you, the fight scene- oh...uh, hey Tristen." Matteo said to the young hybrid after the boys greeted him, having briefly got too caught up in their conversation.
Penny would just give Tristen a little wave, only glancing up from her phone to note his presence. Nemona was too busy retelling the story of her battle against Kofu, evidently because Florian had recently battled and earned Kofu's badge, the Water Badge of Cascarrafa Gym. Then there was Camp who told Tristen hello but was preoccupied with reading a magazine titled 'The Bug Net', a monthly magazine concerning Bug type Pokemon. Who knew something like that existed.

Tristen would make his way through the halls, trying to get a second wind built up to get himself through the rest of the day, at least long enough to make it through classes and get back to the dorm. He found his way to the cafeteria, trying to maintain any bit of composure that he had. He once again met with Ms. Picante, a greetings to her and a very brief conversation with her about the day so far, with Tristen receiving a couple of words of encouragement and his lunch. Tristen would then make his way down the line to get himself some chips and his drink only to realize that much to his chagrin, he started to realize there wasn’t anything like soft drinks here to get that caffeinated boost that he needed a bit badly at this point. Tristen would resign himself to another lemonade then start making his way with his usual company.
B and E were there talking about some sort of show that Tristen had not the slightest about, through Matteo apparently did have some indication of what they were talking about for some reason. Another nickname for the apparent famous hybrid now, though it was kind of weird, Tristen had to admit. Nothing that he’d go on about. Let kids be kids in this particular case. Penny was once again glued to the phone, Camp was on about bug catching again, and Florian and Nemona was talking about a gym here in the region. It left him to wonder, if only for a second if his adoptive father had done so yet. He didn’t mention the kind of progress that he did before he got pulled away to save the region. Tristen didn’t have any desire to take part in Victory Road himself, but he’d be lying at this point if he wasn’t curious at the very least. “Hey everyone.” Tristen said, only for a yawn to creep up on him that he had to force back to not let one out, but it was a battle that he’d ultimately lose. “Ugh…sorry, I got to admit, I’m really hoping that I make it though today…I am kind of struggling now. You’d think I be used to this sort of thing. And that’s on top of trying to get at least one more picture done for Mr. Hassel’s class for tomorrow and now having some make up work to work on for Mr. Salvatore’s class for my absence over the past couple of weeks. I am kinda wondering just what Ms. Raifort might have for me to do next.”
Tristen started to partake in his sandwich while he had the will and consciousness to do so and after he got a bite down. He figured to get up on some of the topics on hand that he overheard. “So, a water type gym? I kinda wonder if my dad might be ready for that. He started back on trying to do the victory road just to finish what he started before all that stuff happened a couple of weeks ago. He was training a few Pokémon that he had a hard time getting around to raising and found it an opportunity to take them through the gyms as a way to spend time with them like he’s been wanting to.”

"Oh? You're dad is taking on the Victory Road challenge? ...is he good? At battles, that is." Nemona asked, her eyes growing wide as she leaned in closer to Tristen which required her to lean over the table as they were on opposite sides.
"Uh...Nemona has that look again..." Florian commented as he leaned away from her, recognizing that battle crazed stare.
"Whaaat? I just want to know if his dad is a good trainer." Nemona playfully huffed as she sat back down. "Kofu is pretty good though. His Veluza is merciless, many trainers get put down before the battle can even get heated up." Nemona continued. "I mean, I didn't have too much trouble but..." She said, chuckling lightly. Florian just rolled his eyes.
"Have you ever thought about challenging the gyms, Tristen?" Camp asked, interjecting into the conversation, still not looking up from his magazine. "You're a pretty good trainer from what I've seen with really strong Pokemon. You could probably reach Champion rank like Nemona." He said, turning the page and glancing up at Tristen. Again, Nemona would go starry eyed as she looked to Tristen. Penny and Florian would lock eyes in response and just shake their heads in unison.

“I’d…certainly hope so. He’s the one who taught me how to battle to begin with and is set to be the next gym leader at the Mahogany Town Gym back home.” Tristen said, albeit in a confused tone for the most part until a realization occurred to the Manetric hybrid. He only told Fela and Penny about who his adoptive father is. He was under the assumption when everything got blown wide open as far as Tristen’s identity post Team Star’s and the Ziton’s attack, that Fela and Penny would end up at least telling such as B and E, and even Matteo about who his father was. But then…perhaps it was just as well Nemona didn’t know. She had a battle frenzy like no other, and seemed to battle with Pokémon that was well above everyone’s punching weight. Even his adoptive father wasn’t battling at such a level currently, using Pokémon instead that maybe eventually will, but it’s a journey just to at least start getting them there. It was why he was on that gym tour to begin with. But then…he just gave more for Nemona to chomp at the bits over. And he might have given Nemona the proverbial scent to track down…oops. Camp would then speak up, asking Tristen about his battling prowess or the possibility of him being on the gym tour himself and Tristen shook his head. “Nah, I’m fine with not going to the gyms.” He’d say, taking a bite out of his sandwich. Once he got the bite down, he’d continue. “Don’t get me wrong, Pokémon battling is fine and all when there aren’t such massive stakes involved. But then…before getting here, and well…lets be honest, even when I got here, that’s all I’ve really done. I probably could maybe try to be champion rank, but I…can’t honestly care enough to try. I’m fine trying to just stay with general studies here in the academy. I honestly don’t get into battling like my dad does…or Nemona.” Though as Tristen thought about it, who actually compares to Nemona in the lust for Pokémon battling?

"The next gym leader!? Your dad is that strong!?" Nemona shouted, jumping to her feet and slamming her hands on the table as she leaned over to get in closer toward Tristen. Penny and Florian both were quick to try and physically pull Nemona back in but she resisted them at first, only relenting as she caught a glimpse of Mr. Saguaro, the very teacher those two were trying to avoid seeing Nemona like this. Quickly Nemona dropped back down in her seat, just as Mr. Saguaro turned to look at their table, the group just giving him a little wave, the man shrugging and turning away. The trio would let out a sigh of relief after.
"...could I battle your dad one day?" Nemona asked Tristen, much quieter, Penny and Florian just grumbled.
Camp nodded along with Tristen's response, turning his attention back to his magazine in mid conversation. "Makes sense to me." He said, really not that committed to this topic. Now if Tristen were to talk about Bug Pokemon he would have been far more invested but that was just how the resident Bug Catcher was. No ill will meant.
"Teetee!" E. spoke up.
"We wanted to know something!" B. interjected, the two doing that thing where they shared a singular brain for a moment. Twins were weird like that.
"Could we play with your Dragonite one!?" They asked, nearly jumping out of their seats.
"...a Pokemon like Dragonite isn't for playing around with. It could hurt you if you disrespect it..." Matteo said, grumbling slightly. He would lock eyes with Tristen in that moment, his perhaps reminding Tristen of the conversation they had. Looks like Matteo was actually listening to Tristen then, having took his words to heart.

Tristen sweatdropped over Nemona, his eyes veering away from her, paying mind to Mr. Sanguaro who once again oversaw the cafeteria stays as orderly and cheerful as possible. When it seemed like they were all in the clear, Tristen gave a sigh of relief then looked back towards Nemona. “I mean, if he wants to, I guess, but unless you are going to battle with Pokémon that are roughly even keel to his Pokémon party right now, I don’t think he’s going to want to battle. Like I said, he’s been trying to train some Pokémon that he’s been trying to make up to right now since he hadn’t had too much of an opportunity at the headquarters because he didn’t want to just send young Pokémon like that into dangerous stuff like we usually do if he could help it. And he doesn’t intend on switching to his stronger Pokémon if he can help it at all either, because otherwise what would be the point?” Tristen said. “Otherwise, he might end up seeing you as a bully not worth his time if you end up pestering him or insist sending something out like your Quaquaval or even Goodra. I know what he has last I checked and I know that none of them would be able to take on your Goodra or Pawmot. Not yet, anyways.” Tristen explained to Nemona. He was hoping that explanation would put a damper on her, but given what he has heard about her, she had no problem handicapping herself just to get an enjoyable battle. She’d probably still try to hunt him down just to see what he is all about. Tristen was starting to fear a bit of inevitability there. When B and E got Tristen’s attention, Tristen was almost caught off guard over the idea of those two playing with Dragonite, and while the Dragon isn’t any stranger to play, it had been relatively limited to himself and the Pokémon about him. Getting strangers into the mix, let alone two hyperactive kids such as these two was probably a recipe for disaster. Matteo was already ahead of the game in giving a reply for Tristen and the Manetric hybrid nodded in response. “Yeeaah, Dragonite might be one of the friendlier dragon type species, but that’s a real tall order.” Tristen said to B and E. “He needs a little bit of time at least and for me to be around for that. I mean, just ask Fela. Ask her what it was like when she first saw Dragonite first hand.” Tristen told the two, looking over towards Fela.
