Mot loved fast paced dances. Dancing in general made the cowboil grin ear to ear. Why do you think he was so adept at hoedowns the last two proms? Mot danced along with gene, pulling off a goofy dance move every so often just to make her laugh. Every so often the reaper twirled the ghoul, or dipped her once in a while to sneak a kiss. "Prom is ten times better when you're smiling, babe."

"Okay." Anna smiled and reached down to take... well, okay. Not TG's hand. Um. No, not his horn... well, her hand kind of hovered for a moment before going back to her side. Ah, height differences. "Let's go."

Lottie was up to no good. Usually. But for now she was chowing down on a large sandwich.... again. The ghoul sidled up next to a taller reaper who seemed either awestruck or just day dreaming. "Sup, brah?" Lottie greeted, not really looking at the boil, but rather at the dancers. "Had the food yet?"

It nuzzled at her, gently. "By all means, mia cara... though perhaps we should commemorate this occasion? I believe they are once again taking photographs..."

Shik seemed to go along towards the dance floor willingly enough, a definite change from the year before. Of course, the wicked gleam in his eye after speaking to Uttam also sparked some excitement in the woman, because it was practically a promise of future violence, to come after this night and at a more appropriate time. Practically, in this case, meaning most definitely. Pulling the man along but not outright forcing him to follow, Shaheen stretched a wing out to brush against his shoulder, then once in a fairly empty space of dance floor, spun on one high heeled foot to face him, her eyes level with his. "No children?" It was probably a good sign that Shaheen sounded amused when she said it. She couldn't really see the beast of a man raising a family either. It just....didn't really suit him. Of course, Shaheen had no delusions that she would be a good mother, either. Still, the students were already full grown, and many had proven just how useful they could be. Perhaps what little maternal side she had was reserved for those of them she thought could aspire to great things....if she helped them along the way of course. But no, she would not let talk of students and family, or even Uttam or let Thrain ruin her evening now that the executioner had returned. That didnt mean she was willing to let it go, however, and glancing past the man in front of her, she levelled a glare at the faminer, and flipped him the bird, a hand gesture she had learned from her study of the students. Thrain would get a nice surprise thrown at his head later. Now where was she? Ah yes, it was dance time. Reaching up, she brushed the back of her knuckles against Shiks face, then reached to tug gently on one stray piece of hair. She might have tried to kiss him then but...no. Too many children about, and too many prying eyes. While she wasn't shy about such things, she also wasn't sure how Shik would feel about it, and for once she wasn't just thinking about herself. So instead she let her hand drop to his stomach, her other reaching to place next to it, and pushed back away from him, and began to dance. It was really out of place and angry looking dancing, but Shaheen didn't care. She loved it. AyeAvast there's nothing here but she's thinking of you, Thrain!

There would be no sulking later. Hadiyya had already set her mind to dragging the Fae along to see what had kept their dear nergal from making an appearance at prom. Marosa was not yet aware of this, but it was going to happen. To his concerns the djinn gave a gentle smile. With how well fed they kept the red head, it was unlikely anything unfortunate would happen. More worries for another day. The music had changed, and Hadiyya turned so she could catch his hand again, guiding it to her hip. "Of course I can," she mused, chuckling softly as she adjusted his free arm then took that hand, her other coming to rest on his shoulder. "Watch my feet, then do as I do. Then it's just a matter of feeling the music and having fun." If he wanted a more serious lesson they could do that later, in private. For now they were just going to have fun. Yaya kept the steps simple, an easy shuffle and a small kick to one side, and when the fae had mastered that she took the lead, guiding him along the floor and adding a turn here or there. Had that been a blush raising up along the banshee's cheeks? Seiji blinked, watching the ghoul as he continued to sing and play, dark brows arching gently in clear bafflement before his features softened altogether and he offered her a helpless grin, shoulders raising in a shrug. He'd made it clear when he'd asked her to prom that he was beginning to develop deeper feelings for the ghoul beside the obvious physical attraction they shared. More often then not the past couple weeks he'd been seeking excuses to hang out with her more. They'd even gone on a gasp date a few nights ago. Of course along with that blush had come a look of panicked horror. That had been less comforting, and as the minutes ticked on and he kept on singing he kept expecting the ghoul to bolt. Every second she remained made him feel just a little better. Then the song was ending, his voice fading out, and the music a couple of cords after. He very solidly met those bright red eyes, gave the tiniest shake of his head, and mouthed the words 'Stay here'. There may even have been a please tacked on at the end. For one, he didn't want her to leave. He was enjoying spending time with her, and actually wished he had more time off stage to do so. For another thing, he knew what song was next, and he didn't want her to miss the show.

[Enter from Midway]Mjoll glanced at Olivia. "Sometimes there's questionable music. Good all kind of depends on who's listening to it though sometimes there's people that really do fail at music."
Her back wings folded down as she realized how many people were here and she didn't want to have to beat anyone for running into her wings. She chuckled, "Really though it all depends."
She tilted her head at the music playing. Hm she wasn't sure if she liked this music or not.

Roch headed for the back, grabbing water bottles and tossing them out again just to make sure everyone was ready for this. A little grin played on his lips as he downed his drink--then called his sister.
"Yeah, Terra? We're doin' the song--no--The SONG," he said. "Yeah, hurry it up, alright?"
He looked at the others. "Check your buttons, boils, I think we're ready."

Oh jack dammit he was being cute! She visualised the whip with the spikes embedded in it and earmarked it for later use, she would hurt him for being so dam cute! She hated it, she hated anyone who could bring these emotions to the surface. She was strong, she was powerful, she was in control. But that smile, that shake of his head, those words. She didn't want to shout out a response but her lips formed the words "why?" anyway. What did she expect in an answer? Because he wanted her here? Because he didn't want to get on her...more bad side and cause this fling to end? She dug her nails into her palms, catching the fake shield of skin and making it bleed so she can feel anything other than her pounding chest and weak knees. This was not how it was meant to be at all.
She loved him.
She so horribly, gut wrenching, eyes peel back over her head loved him.
And she hated him for it.

It had been a good while since Olivia had ventured into the largest of the tents, so the amount of creeple that had filled it up was surprising and at the same time a nice surprise. Because, well, creeple. It didn't damper her mood in the least. Still all the smiles.
"There is some that does sound weird," she had to admit to the horsewoman though she never was sure if it was just the style of the genre or if in fact - as Mjoll put it - some musicians just failed. What was playing now didn't seem too bad to her ears and she glanced back at Andrew to see how he was feeling about it.
And then looked forward again. And then at Mjoll and wondered what the other ghoul had in mind of what to do. ouo

Seiji continued to give the banshee his equivalent of puppy eyes after she had responded to his silent plea with a question. Why? Because he wanted her there, that was why. Because he actually enjoyed spending time with her with their clothing on. Because now that he finally let her all the way into his life he found that he truly enjoyed her company. He kept up the determined, keep-your-a**-right-there-or-else stare until he was certain she wasn't going anywhere, then finally took the offered bottle of water from the reaper boil and cracked it open so he could take a long drink. Once it was drained it was tossed a side. He then returned to his silent communications with the banshee.. Actually, screw that. They had a minute. It sounded like they had to wait for Terra. He got up from behind the drums and came to kneel on the edge of the stage closest to Sarias, waving her over.

Nahm snickered a little and rearranged the cowl of his hood, then casually tossed the sash he was wearing off to the side of the stage. It was just going to get in the way. He nodded to Roch. The intro for this song was a relatively short one, but Nahm left the mic on its stand anyway. When his cue came up, he leaned in and started singing, wearing a huge grin the whole time: I'm too sexy for my love, too sexy for my love, love's going to leave me~When the next line came up, the one about too sexy for my shirt, he grabbed his shirt and dramatically ripped it off, tossing it aside. Being what he was, however, there was another shirt underneath. NOW PLAYING:

She saw him move and made an involuntary move backwards, was her fight of flight reflex that weak? No she wouldn't let these feelings maim her of all sense. She would just have to work harder at controlling them....or banishing them. Yes that sounded much better, then they can go back to just being...what ever a word is for what they were and things would be simple. Sarias liked simple, there was no screaming voices, no want to go on a murder spree and she could just rest in Seiji's arms after their amazing....fights and think of nothing but him and her.
Swinging her hips she walked towards him, a quizzical if not angry look on her features as she leaned up to him.
"Boil your haven't finished making everyone's ears bleed in this place, I dare say you sound worse than me....I like that."

The brief step back was noticed, but he didn't say anything as she came swaying closer. Instead he grinned at her as she pelted him with insults. When she was close enough he leaned out and stole a kiss from that venom spewing mouth of hers. "Stay put," he ordered. Trying for serious and failing as he got back to his feet and hurried back behind his drums. The music had started, Nahm's clothing was coming off, it was show time. With a last wink towards the banshee, the hungry ghost grabbed a handful of either side of his vest and shirt and pulled, sending a couple buttons flying as he shrugged out of the top layers of clothing at let them hang around his waste. Then be started to play, hammering away at his drums, deliciously shirtless. ---------------------------------------------------------------- "Hold that thought." The djinn grinned kissed him on the cheek, and raced off towards the stage. Terra was given a quick high five while they waited for the beat to pick before dropping into the choreographed dance steps they'd rehearsed before prom.
