Jethrow nodded in respect to Luke and Lunora. He'd expected that. He turned to Anya and Searan, giving Demetri and Lunora a chance to speak. "What about you two?"
Searan put an arm around Anya, telling her that wherever she went, he went. "Staying."
Demetri took Lunora's hand, shaking his head. "I'm not about to leave. However... Maybe we should send the boys away," he said, looking at her. He would never leave her, or Jethrow for that matter, but Hakaru and Damian needed to be safe. "Perhaps we can convince Otosan to take them somewhere," he said, knowing the old wolf was still staying in the castle somewhere.
The fish gasped at what Hakaru had said, since they could understand him well enough. Kai would've laughed, but she was as shocked as they were at the sushi comment. Though she would never be made into sushi, she had a strict no-fish-eating rule. She raised her eyebrows at Hakaru, then looked over at the quieted fish. One of them muttered that they were still cute, and she rolled her eyes at them. "They say that aside from your horrid taste in food, they think you're cute." [OOC:] The Fish: He is NOT picking the caterer for the wedding...

Hakaru just laughed. He then leaned over and whispered in her ear. "I don't like raw foods." he said before laying down on Kai's bed and sighing again. He hoped Kai'd at least take the joke well. He didn't worry about the fish. They'd get over it.
Lunora nodded some. "Otosan should help... The pack must be moved as well. I don't want to to be attacked as well. I should go talk to him. You find the boys and try to convince them to leave." she said before giving a kiss to Demetri's cheek before she set out to find her father.

Demetri nodded and stood, heading out the door after his wife. He paused for a second, looked up and frowned. That was one of Damian's favorite spy contraptions... Which meant the older prince was just around the corner. Sure enough, when Demetri quietly crept around, there sat his son, looking rather stunned. "So, I guess you know what's happening?" he said, not bothering to chastise his son.
Damian nodded slowly. He knew that his parents would worry forever, and it could even risk their own lives, if he and Hakaru stuck around. In fact, Damian himself would freak out if Hakaru stuck around. "I don't want to leave," he said quietly, despite all that. That didn't mean he wouldn't, just that he didn't want to.
Kai shrugged. The fish were no mumbling amongst themselves, which meant she could tune them out. Slowly, she lay down next to Hakaru, curling into his side. The fish awwed again, but quietly. Kai made a mental note to get a cover for the tank to prevent them from doing this again. "It feels like a storm is coming," she said softly, taking in the general atmosphere of the castle for the first time.

Hakaru just held her close and gently stroked her brown stringy hair as he relaxed with her. He pulled a blanket over them as he closed his eyes to relax. Until Kai brought up the storm. He groaned a little, hating storms. They always scared him.
Lunora walked through the castle to her father's room and knocked. She glanced around nervously, worried for her children and her pack's safety. She hoped they'd all make it to safety.

Demetri frowned and helped Damian to stand, then put his hands on the boy's shoulders. "I need you to take care of Hakaru. Your mother and I need to know you two are safe." With that, the wizard left in pursuit of his younger son. He tried the boy's room, but realized he wasn't there. Mapping out the castle, he detected the unique energy that belonged to Hakaru, and followed it, coming to someone else's dorm and knocking.
Otosan stood and slowly made his way to the door, opening it. He was about to smile and welcome his daughter home, but caught sight of her anxious expression. "What happened?" he asked, reaching out to gently put a hand on Lunora's shoulder.
Kai raised her eyebrow at Hakaru's reaction to the mention of storm. She opened her mouth to say something, but was interrupted by a knock on the door. With a sigh, she pulled herself away from Hakaru and opened the door. She was surprised to be faced with Hakaru's father. "Is something wrong?" she asked, catching the expression on the wizard's face.

Lunora looked to her father. "The humans are going to be attacking. We need to move the pack. And... And I need you to take my sons. I don't want them hurt..." she said, gently placing a hand over her father's. She was worried for her new pack and she needed to speak with them first.
Hakaru sat up when Kai went to answer the door. But he was shocked to see his father. But him showing up didn't shock and worry him. It was his expression. He got up quickly and went to the door. "Father? Father, what's wrong?"

Otosan immediately nodded. "Don't worry; they will be safe with me," he assured her, stepping out of his room and closing the door behind him. "We can move the pack now."
Demetri sighed, almost sadly. As soon as his son found a girl, they were being separated. "I need you to get ready. You're leaving in the morning. Pack only what you can carry, and what is most valuable to you." [OOC:] Wow... This story is kinda a sausage fest... Guys: 7 Girls: 4

Lunora nodded and followed her father to the pack. She started to get them to pack up and leave. "Please, I am sorry, but you must pack your things! My father is taking you back to the village in the mountains where you will be safe! Please pack what is dear to you and go!" she said, yelling over the slight panic.
Hakaru could feel a tearing sensation in his chest. Leave? But he'd just found Kai. How could he leave? "B-But father! I don't want to leave! I want to stay here! With her!" he said, grabbing Kai's hand gently.

Otosan put a hand on Lunora's shoulder, trying to calm her down. "All of you!" he shouted, capturing the attention of the worrying townspeople. "Safety is in mobility. You've done this before under the threat of death, and you can do it again. Pack what you need and can move, and be ready by sunrise."
Damian quickly started rushing through the castle, using a combination of magic and smell to find Mina's dorm. He rapped quickly on the door, hoping she'd answer.
Demetri had known this would be hard on his son, but he doubted that Kai would choose to follow the wolves and his sons into the mountains. Jethrow would have her sent back to her ocean home. "I know you don't, Hakaru," he said quietly. He felt saddened as his son grabbed the mermaid's hand, but he shook his head. "I need to know that you'll be safe. We have one week before armies of humans come swarming in here, looking to kill anyone like you."
Kai's heart clenched. What had that been about finally feeling in place? It didn't help that the moment she returned home she'd be thrown in prison for doing so. Then again, an aquatic prison was undoubtedly safer than a human one. She saw the expression on the wizard's face and looked at Hakaru. They were going to have to let go. [OOC:] So when is Luke gonna fall into his abusive relationship?

Hakaru shook his head, trying to fight tears. "No! I am not leaving! Why can't you and Mom ever trust me to take care of myself?! Why can't you ever believe in me?!" he yelled, letting a small sob wrack his frame before plowing out the door, pushing his father aside and running off to hide and cry.
Lunora sighed some and tried to help her pack get all packed up and get ready. She kept apologizing to them. Especially ones with pups like her. She didn't want them to go back to that snowy hideaway, but it was the only choice for them and the only place the humans couldn't find.

[OOC:] Naw, he should have an adorable little wife, but with a horrid temper. Demetri turned and watched as his son disappeared. Sighing, he trudged out to the back of the castle to find Lunora. "Damian and Hakaru both want to stay. Though I think we might be able to convince Damian to go. Hakaru... He doesn't want to leave Kai."
Kai sighed and took after Hakaru, trying to keep up. She stumbled a couple times, but finally found him. Sinking down beside him, she wrapped her arms around him, not saying anything.

Lunora looked to Demetri and sighed, nestling into his arms for comfort. "If Hakaru won't leave, Damian won't either. So much for keeping them safe." she said with a tired sigh. All this was sucking the energy out of her. For one of the first times she was feeling completely drained...
Hakaru ha found himself a little tree to hide under and cry so hard it made him hiccup. He suddenly felt arms around him, making him hiccup again. But he recognized the dull salt water scent as the mermaid. He wrapped his arms around her and held her close to him, crying on her shoulder, tears pouring from his tightly shut eyes.

Demetri sighed and tightened his grip on his wife. "I know. We can still do something, though," he said, rubbing her arms.
Kai blinked back her own tears, holding onto Hakaru tightly. "They only want you to be safe. We don't even know what's going on! There's probably something big about to happen. Maybe it's best... If you do leave."

Hakaru sobbed more, pulling her closer as she spoke about him leaving. "N-No! I-I don't want to leave! I don't want to lose you! I-I'm never leaving without you!!" he said, hiccuping and sobbing as he clung to the mermaid, meaning every last little hiccup broken syllable.
Lunora sighed some, watching her pack start to wrap up packing. She then nestled more into the wizard's arms. "I know how you feel know. About those energy vampires...." she muttered, feeling her knees get a little weak.

Demetri picked up his wife, holding her close to his chest. "It'll be fine, Lunora. We're going to solve this. They're going to be safe," he murmured, though things weren't one hundred percent. He hoped they would all be safe.
Kai hugged him again, sighing sadly. "Hakaru," she said firmly, "if you don't go, your family will worry. They probably won't leave you behind, either. They could risk their lives because you don't want to leave."
