Kumourti eventually recovered from the effects of Crow's spell, especially since she wasn't giving him any further attention. To think he'd ever had any interest in her. He'd push such thoughts aside and return to watching over Angel.

Angel's chest rose and fell, slow sporadic movements showing that her healing power was indeed working. Her mind was still lost in a fantasy world of the comatose.

A Name of Power

Lord Yawgmoth
Out of the corner of Yawgmoth's eye he noted Crow playing games with the hooded figure, apparently a woman. How'd he miss that he wondered? He smirked, the vampire and his lady were too busy cuddling and talking to one another to pay attention. So best to have some fun with the others then. The Lord of the Wastes took a step backwards and fell into the shadows and then, across the room popped up in Ziven's shadow behind her. If she kept on her current path of pulling away from Crow she'd back up right into the chest and abs of the Lord of the Wastes in all his stature and glory putting the poor girl between a rock and a hard place so to speak.

As Crow pushed on forward, she followed Ziven. A evil smile bracing her lips as she moved forward, allowing the woman to believe she was in control. Looking just past the girls shoulder, The Mistress watched her husband materialize in the fleshie's shadow knowing all to well what would happen next.

Star VanHelsing
Laying her head on his chest as he stroked her hair and tried to sooth her, she allowed the emotions to play themselves out. Soon enough she had cried herself out.

~Vincent scooped her up in his arms and tried soothing her more as he walked her over to the fireplace and set down with her in the chair he had knocked over what just seemed like a few days ago. He sighed softly, cradling her head.~

As Vincent settled with her in the chair in front of the fire, Star couldn't help but wonder what the stinch was in this area of the room. What is that smell?

The Almighty Ali

The best hitmen waited for the most opportune time, Which was exactly what Ali had been doing. Seemingly focused on Solis despite the entrance of Yawg & Crow, behaving as if they didn't matter anymore. They wouldn't..if Angel wasn't breathing. But alas she did and he was still under contract.

The opportune moment was when Crow broke away from Yawg and moved towards Ziven, while he was preoccupied with Kumi and Vincent. Just what Ali had waited from, like predators did. Waiting for the lamb to move away from the herd. Though that moment seemed to close rapidly and so Ali reacted on sheer instinct, Grabbing onto the shotgun, bring it up for a proper aim as he turned his body towards his target and pulling the trigger. Letting the hail of lead get flung out with a deafening boom.

A smile started to form when BOOM! Her hands flew to her ears as her heart dropped out of her chest and she went as white as a sheet. Jumping to her feet she looked over to make sure it wasn't Solis or Angel that had been the intended target.

~The vampire flies out of his seat on Star's heels, turns towards the sound of the rifle shot and the smell of gunpowder. His eyes opened wider then the norm and his mouth dropped open. It took a few seconds to colt his thoughts and for his brain to catch up to his mouth.~

""What the bloody hell are you doing kid?"

~ A few short strides and he closed in on the scene. ~

The shot had Kumouri back up, his claws out on one hand, a Kunai in the other. His ears turned in the direction of the boom and his stance ready to pounce.

Letting the hail of lead get flung out with a deafening boom.
Crow had been careless. Growling as the hot lead tore into her shoulder blade, spinning her around as she groaned in pain. Cursing below her breath, she quickly assessed the damage. The whole right side of her shoulder looked like ground hamburger with shining specks of splintered bone within the wound. Looking up, she noticed Ziven had been sprayed with her blood as the shot tore into her. Hissing, she looked over and saw Ali standing with his gun, the barrel still smoking. All this happened in a matter of seconds but time slowed as she looked into the eyes of her Husband. Reaching up her dress, she quickly retrieved the dagger in her thigh strap and with a flick of her wrist she sent it towards Ali's chest. If it hit it's mark Crow would have time to bring another plan into fruition.

Making a startled noise, somewhere between a gasp and a squeak, Ziven nearly jumps out of her skin with surprise when she runs into Yawg. Before she can register magic he used, the fact that was effectively sandwiched between TWO strangers at close range, and had no idea how to excuse herself from all this commotion, she caught a glimpse of Ali's movement. She had little idea what a gun did, but she recognized a weapon easily enough.

While she never would have expected the outcome that occurred, she again feeling infinitely grateful that she wore her cloak. While the spray of blood was startling, given her current state of panic, she was rather well protected from the gore as she was holding her cloak tightly around herself. Between having the back of her head still pressed against Yawg's chest and the happy chance of having turned her head, her cloak dedicatedly deserved a raise after tonight's actions.

Feeling no less frightened or confused with the way events continued to unfold, she stood trembling quietly. The conflict between Ali and Crow seemed to be contained well enough. If she knew anyone better, she would offer help, but right now she knew she didn't have enough information to make a decision. Hoping that the noise would give her enough distraction to get the hell out of this bar, she made the attempt to sidle towards the door.

Shadowy Lunatic

God dammit, Yawgmoth growled internally. He'd been too calm and confident and too busy picking on the girl who'd backed up into him to notice the hitman and his weapon. When the shotgun roared and Crow's blood sprayed out onto him and Ziven he twisted his face into a snarl and stepped around the two women and started towards the man, on a different route than Crow's dagger so as not to get in the way of his dark beloved's strike. He was going to look for a sign that she was ok, but that dagger was a pretty good sign of where her priorities were.

"You know we're taking the finger you squeezed the trigger with don't you boy? We hope to whatever gods you pray to that you've got more than that in your back of tricks." he threatened marching forward towards Ali. The shadows in the room twitched and moved, animating with the anger of their master. The room grew darker, colder and for the gunman it would feel like a thousand sets of eyes were upon him at once. The darkness watched from every angle ready to pounce if need be.

Ali didn't flinch nor budge when the blade hit the chest with a audible thud, this was why he wore a kevlar vest. Wasn't just for show. And it explained why he didn't attempt to avoid it. Instead simply doing a fast reload by pulling the lever down so the shell was ejected from the chamber and a fresh one taking it's place. Then his left hand reaching down to first pull the pin and then pull out a flashbang from his belt, setting it on the same table that Solis was on and which was beside him.

Yawg's words fell on deaf ears, he wasn't ignored unlike Vincent. Far from it. The flashbang wouldn't be set ready if that was the case, But Ali was focused on the target. Keeping his eyes on her despite Yawg's attempt at shielding her, waiting for the flashbang to go off so he could move and get another shot at her. A little higher this time, see if he couldn't shred that pretty face into ribbons.

Kumouri saw what Ali had set on the table and turned away, covering his ears so he wouldn't have to suffer the assault of that grenade. He hated this so called "hitmen" of modern times, too loud in their work.
